    Smoked Chicken Pappradell - outstanding!
    Matthew M.

This place is a fantastic spot to drop in on. They have wonderful libations and an extensive menu. My wife ordered the Elk bolognese and I had the Smoked Chicken Pappardell. While both were fantastic, the latter was the star. My kids ordered a fish and fries and a kiddo chicken tender entree. They loved them. My only hang up was the service. It was a little annoying because our server spent more time hanging out with the staff rather than attending his tables. He was a little "too cool" in his mind to do his job rather than flirting with the female staff. I definitely recommend this spot. Awesome food but spotty service.

Snake River Brewing is a solid stop if you're looking for a casual meal and local beer while you're in Jackson. The biggest downside for us was the wait. Be prepared for it, especially during peak times. We waited about an hour just to be seated, and once we ordered, the food also took quite a while to come out. The brewery itself has a lively atmosphere with plenty of seating and a fun energy without feeling overly touristy. It's a great place to unwind after a day exploring the area. The beer selection offers something for just about everyone, and the food was good overall. Nothing completely wowed me, but everything was decently prepared. The bison burger was pretty dry and you can't pick how you wanted it cooked so that was a miss. The service was friendly throughout despite how busy they were.

I am so glad we tried Snake River Brewing for lunch! I wrote it off as having bar food, but coming off a morning & afternoon of hiking & playing on Snow King Mountain we were starving & this was close. What a gem! The menu has some really great, and healthy options! Even my hubby tried a salad and really liked it. The portions were filling too. The view from the top deck was mesmerizing. There is outdoor patio seatinf on the ground floor too and more seating inside than looks possible. The service was spot in. Iced tea stayed full and she came around just enough to check un amd not make us feel rushed. Definitely a must try spot while Jackson!

After a day of driving from YNP and hiking, I thought SRB would be packed with tourists on a Thu evening... esp with World Cup viewing. The pub isn't on the Jackson town center, so that mitigates some traffic. Nonetheless the brewery was decently crowded. Fully menu service at the bar, upstairs or downstairs. Seating is first come, first served. Nice mix of tourists and regulars assembled for football, brews and lively socializing. Fun music playlist could still be heard despite the large TV screen. The space feels both contemporary yet a Jackson Hole institution. While the menu features pub food, I shortlisted a number of gourmet contenders. Ultimately the "slash and burn trout" was irresistible. You'll love this dish if you like a variety of colors, flavors and textures. I meant to 86 the fried leeks, but they added crispy fun to the tender fish, decadent pork belly, sweet corn & roasted tomatoes & fresh radish sprouts. This plate qualifies for culinary genius.

Coming across a perfectly thought out menu of kinda comfort, kinda healthy, that reads like "you need to try everything cause it is all gonna be good." We're looking at everything and thinking "that would be good". As a serious cook myself the descriptions just read "right". No foam and powder stuff, descriptions of things that probably work. Irene was craving chili, to go with this day of snow. I went for beet salad, calorie counting to be sure we could try the glacier pie. Already dreaming of a return. Good service. Nice ambiance. 2nd floor with nice light for taking photos.

Arrived in Jackson Hole and this was our first stop as we were hungry. Food was great, fast service and cold beer! There is an elevator in case you don't want to or can't walk the stairs. A beautiful outdoor area in front of the restaurant to eat outside, allow your kids or dogs to run & play or just enjoy the beautiful weather. They also have cute hats & shirts! We had the spicy noodles, mushroom truffle pizza, Cobb salad and 3 of our guys ordered the bison burger and all thought they were deelicious!

We came here as a recommendation from one of the other restaurants. Our server came over and did not introduce himself and just brought us waters. I asked for a recommendation and he said Bison Butger. I said to him I already ate them for lunch today, I want something else and he said he had no other recommendations. I then asked if they had any cider on top or cans. He did not know what I was talking about. Then we ordered nachos as an appetizer. I specifically asked for no jalapeños and they came out with jalapeño. We ended up getting pizza and it was very good. Unfortunately, due to the language barrier there was a struggle with this visit. Atmosphere was very cool

Place is nice - they have two corn hole sets outside (need to use you ID to get the bags). Lots of place to sit outside and they have a fire pit Got the burger / canes with lettuce, red onions, tomatoes, cheese, pickles, and fries. Fries are solid. The burger was good - they didn't ask for a temperature for the meat - so was cooked well done. Kids tenders are solid. Very crispy and comes with 3-4 pieces for the kids menu and lots of fries. I probably would've ordered one for two kids. The Cobb salad was good. The chili was thick and comes with a thick slice of cornbread too.

Beer flight (only suggestion is to put in a holder so that names could be referenced.)

Such an awesome option for tasty, casual, varied and well planned and executed food and beer. Our first trip in we shared a watermelon salad which was AMAZING - spicy pepitas are a great add, and the goat cheese wasn't overdone. Hubby said his bison burger was really flavorful, and my local trout has a nice crisp skin and moist flesh. Second trip was more salads, burgers, tacos and sandwiches and everything was super tasty and well executed - I was a big fan of both the beet and the walnut/gorgonzola salad. And the beers! Had an opportunity to try probably 7 different ones between the flight and some elsewhere. All are solid, tasty & true to style and the waitress we had on the first day did a great job of characterizing and recommending some. My only suggestion is to put in a holder so that names could be referenced. Those of us who like to take our time sampling/tasting & recording need those labels, and if a "standard" flight offering is 4, then use a holder that can be labeled or a printed ticket can be included. We may be back for a third meal before leaving Jackson - the menu offers enough diversity for everyone and I can have very different foods each time.

The bison chili was hearty and filling and the cornbread was the perfect compliment to it. All the beers we tried were good too.

Definitely Worthwhile During Your Stay in Jackson! Stopped in during a trip to Jackson, WY and was really impressed. I got the bison burger--really good. They also have a great selection of local and regional beers. The atmosphere was very cool--relaxed but lively, with a vibe that fits right in with the Jackson scene. Definitely worth checking out if you're in town!

Drinks only As our hotel was just around the corner, we popped in for some drinks. We were pleased to find a brewery accross the street from our Fairfield hotel. As we approached the hotel we could see that this was a local hang out- of course it was off season too- ski season was over and summer season had not started yet. So we go the true local vibe- which we loved! Prior to the entering the brewery, there is an expansive greenspace for kids to play in, plus tables and seats around fire pits. As you enter the brewery you are greeted with a wide variety of merchandise to purchase and the hostess desk. As you enter the dinning area- there is an l shape bar and plenty of tables on the main floor. On the second floor there are additional tables. We were just in mostly for drinks- they have a good number of taps. If you are not a beer fan, there are a limited number of cocktails on the menu and wines. The bar does offer daily happy hour with discounts on beer. As we had such a good experience with the staff- we found ourselves venturing there one too many times- and on one occasion we even sampled their prize chili which was nice! If in the area and you fancy a low key environment and some beer, this place is worth a stop to hang one on! Tip: The bar does shut down briefly between season so if visiting during that time check to see if they are open.

Our server was polite, but we didn't get checked on very often, which made it difficult to ask for anything once our food arrived. Unfortunately, the food was a huge disappointment. Everything we ordered was under-seasoned, and the portions were much smaller than we expected for the price. I ordered the mahi fish tacos, and they were honestly the worst fish tacos I've ever had. The fish tasted very fishy instead of fresh, and it looked like it had been boiled rather than grilled. There was no char or seasoning to speak of, and the overall flavor was really lacking. If you're considering the fish tacos, I'd skip them. Overall, it's a nice place to grab a beer and enjoy the atmosphere, but the food just didn't live up to the rest of the experience. Hopefully this was just an off night.

Meal prices are about what you would expect for Jackson... overpriced for eggs and pastries. People rave about the "pig candy" which is 4 pieces of candied bacon they give you for $16.
