This is my first review ever. We're so impressed with this company I just have to write one.
We wanted our ducts cleaned so we called Ducts ina Row [we did not know it was a part of Smitty's]. Marissa was very pleasant. She explained exactly how the operation worked, educated me on what supply and returns were and patiently waited while I counted them. She was very pleasant and informative.
The first team to show up was Steve and Justin. ON-TIME, actually early, clean-cut, professional yet relaxed, with a great sense of humor. They hopped right up in the attic to do an inspection before attaching their machine. They were very thorough.
Turned out we had some smashed ducts and others that were brittle and falling apart from the inside out. So no duct cleaning could be done. New ducts were needed, as well as insulation. They took the time to explain the process and assured us that someone would contact us with more information.
They were true to their word because Lance called us and even showed up that same day. He too was EARLY, professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to meet. He explained what was next and filled us in on the history of the company.
Next, David showed up, just when he said he would, to do an assessment of what materials were needed, and how long it would take. His knowledge and ability and motivation to do not only a good job but a right job the first time was another confirmation that we picked the right company. He was up front with us about everything that was advisable to be done but never pressured us to do anything.
Then there's John and Darren [I hope I spelled it right]. These two are FANTASTIC. Very hard workers yet take the time to explain what they're doing and why and what to expect when the job is done. They take care to not track dirt through the house and clean up after themselves. They go beyond what is expected. If something looked like it might need reinforcing they did it. They improved on things that anybody else would have not even bothered. They were such a pleasure to have around. They whistled, they sang, they joked with each other and joked with us but remained serious about doing the job better than right [makes me think of Holmes on Homes].
We were very impressed that every one of them were on time and timely in getting the job done. They are knowledgeable and more than capable of doing the job right. They are true to their word and very trustworthy. You just don't find that these days. We were also impressed with the loyalty each worker has toward the company as well as toward each other. They all get along very well and show respect for one another. That same attitude carries over to their customers, of which we are very happy to be one.
