This is a unique review because I haven't met Jason directly but did speak to him on the phone. We have a rental property in Redding and we live in Southern Ca. Although we have a property mgmt company, we had an issue with the AC unit and went through our Home Warranty. Jason's company was chosen to dispatch. I called to check the status and spoke to Jason. Jason shared what was wrong with the unit, the repairs made and also said he spoke to my tenants and assured them all was good. Jason went a further step speaking with about proper maintenance. As a landlord out of the area this was very appreciated on the extra step taken. He could have left with a simple, all good, but the time taken was above and beyond. Unfortunately, the diagnosis was that I needed a whole new HVAC unit (I knew mine was old and probably on its last legs). Jason worked with my on financing and had my new unit in within a week. It's awesome! He showed me how everything works with my new Wi-Fi thermostat, made sure that his guys went through every vent and sealed them, cleaned up (even blew leaves out of my driveway) and were done and out of my house within 4 hours. My 16 year old central air conditioning system was blowing hot air on a hot 114° Redding day. I called another local HVAC contractor who gave me a $6,700 estimate to install brand new equipment. In order to get a second opinion, I called Jason Sanchez Heating & Air Conditioning. The owner, Jason, promptly arrived on schedule and courteously introduced himself. I explained the previous estimate and that I was prepared to install a new system if necessary. Jason inspected the system and discovered that only an inexpensive capacitor needed to be replaced. I had this company out a couple times after they were assigned by my home warranty company, and they weren't able to properly diagnose or repair the issues I was having. They gave us a stop-gap solution that was supposed to work until we could have a different HVAC company come out, but even that solution only worked for less than a day. The guys who came out were nice and they were always on-time, but it just didn't seem like they had much experience with larger HVAC systems. read more

This man supervised/ installed the install on the furnace in my home while still owned by the previous owner in Jan 2013. 3 months into our home ownership last year the heating unit malfunctioned and the home warranty we purchased dispatched a person to come check it out. Upon inspection it was disconnected so that No one could reconnect it, and It was told that it was unsafe. For a second opinion a tech from this company was actually dispatched. I was told it was the worst they'd seen, and it was not safe to operate. By both places I was told an error upon installation had occurred. I then got a 3rd opinion on my own, who agreed. I then got hold of the previous owner to find out who had done the install. I was told Jason himself. When he worked for another company. My realtor suggested trying to see if they would make it right, because my home warranty company would not cover it, as it was pre existing when I bought the house. Home owners ins said the same. No insurance or realty company could give me any advice. I called up on advice of the realtor only to have it denied, and be called the next day to tell me it as done right and he worked for another company at the time so he as not responsible even though he oversaw it. Seek damages from the man who owned the company he worked for they said. Who I'm sure they knew was dead, since his phone number is this guys now. After months of the runaround, and trying to file a claim with the previous company's bond, it was denied because he had passed on more than 2 years ago. 2 years is the limit. As with reporting people like this. I am very saddened and disappointed to know this is how he does business, and sees nothing wrong with the fact that the entire conversion kit was omitted, thus meaning it WAS an installation error. An installation he oversaw. My whole family...including 3 small kids...got sick, and my husband had a hospital trip that cost him a day of work, and I got to shell out the price of a car and sack my pocket book to fix this negligence. All I wanted was for it to be made right. But instead it was deny and bully the previous owner and blame everyone else. I was nearly fined also because no permit was obtained for previous job. I didn't even know that could happen. I didn't own the house when it as done. But, apparently it can and I know that now. Luckily I had a great company do it right with a permit this time, 4th company to tell me it was the worst they'd ever seen...just too bad I had to pay a ridiculous amount to fix something that should never have happened. So grateful for this company. Our hvac quite unexpectedly in the middle of the recent storms. Our granddaughter stays with us a few days a week and because she's an infant, it was vital that the house be warm. I called on a Friday and spoke with the owner. We have the split systems for high efficiency in our rental home, and one got a little weird. We went through home warranty and got a different heating and air company at first to look at it. 2 weeks in, someone finally came to check it out, 2 more weeks later, the parts still had not even been ordered!! I called home warranty and requested a new contractor and Jason A/C is who they sent. Amazing. They were able to get out to the house, order the parts , AND install it all before the other company even called to say they figured out the issue. Everyone knows the weather in this area.
