Our A/C went out on a hot Saturday immediately upon return from vacation, of course! We live about 25 miles out of town, so repair companies are usually very reluctant to make the drive to fix anything. Nevertheless, being hopeful, I called Mike at Air Pro. He was certainly willing to come out that day, but, since I have some modest mechanical skills, and I was able to describe what the unit was (or wasn't) doing, he walked me through several tests. Over multiple phone calls, while I tinkered with the electrical components on the unit, he walked me through several possible causes and suggested fixes (always being totally safe by making sure I had all power to the unit dead off). Long story short, with Mike's terrific help, the unit is now humming like a champ. I called Mike back with the good news and offered to pay him for his valuable time and great attitude. He wouldn't take payment, but he is now my go to guy on speed dial and will be recommended to all family and friends. This level of customer service is almost unheard of today. Thanks Mike!!! read more

Mike is awesome! My ac went out and he was able to come to my house the same day I called, unlike any other company who said it would be a week or more. He diagnosed the problem immediately and advised me to utilize the warranty that I had through another company as it would be an expensive repair. The other company told me they wouldn't even have the part to fix my air conditioner for 3 weeks. I called Mike a couple times during the 10 days my ac was out to get some advice and he was super responsive and upfront without making me feel like I was taking up his time. Ultimately I opted to have Mike fix my system rather than wait a month for the other company. He came out to fix it two days after I asked if he would be able to do the job instead. He did a great job and even called a few hours later to make sure everything was running smoothly. I can't recommend him enough read more

Mike is AWESOME! His response time is amazing, he definitely knows his stuff and we are 100% satisfied with his service! Our air conditioner went on the frizt during a time that things were already kinda tough. Husband recouping from cancer surgery, we had a sick animal, we were inundated with ants the day before AND we were trying to head out of town the next day to help our son relocate to a residence in Arcata (remember husband's off for surgery = 10 pound weight lift limit). Several air companies were already booked with clients but Mike came through in a pinch. He literally turned around before even grabbing a bite of dinner to eat, diagnosed the problem, had what he needed with him and we were all chilin (- literally) a very short while later. We recommend him completely - no hesitation whatsoever! read more

I called Air Pro today after our Air conditioning stopped working. Mike answered, he asked me a few questions and said he would be over in an hour. This was after 5 pm on a hot day and he spent the next hour working on my older system. He took the time to explain the problem and our options. It is an older unit, and he explained the resolution was a temporary solution, but he would do whatever he could to get us going. Mike was professional, friendly, prompt, and helpful. The price was reasonable and great considering the call was after 5 pm. He got me in within an hour, where other places would not look at it until the next week unless we were willing to pay for the after-hours rate two days later. I would highly recommend Air Pro to anyone, Mike will be my first call moving forward. read more

Mike from Air Pro Heating & Air Conditioning went above and beyond for me today. My AC unit quit working sometime yesterday, he came out within 15 minutes to repair it. He had every intention on fixing it correctly on the spot. Unfortunately the owner of my rental house did not get back to the rental agency to approve the work and Mike stayed late (on his own time) to instal a temporary AC unit in my living room for me. I couldn't have asked for a nicer man to lend a helping hand to me and my family when we are in dire need. I am a stay at home foster mom with small babies that need a cool calm place rest. I would highly recommend Air Pro Heating & Air Conditioning to anyone looking for a honest, helpful, timely job done correctly! read more

We'd tried another company to fix the heat pump at my mom's house, but they weren't able to find the problem. Someone recommended Air Pro and I'm so glad they did. Mike was very busy, but made time to help us out. He came out the same day and got it going while he searched for a part. It's an old system so he wasn't sure the part was still available, but he found it, installed it, and now the HVAC works perfectly. He was very upfront abou the price and let us know when he had to adjust it for the additional part. Overall I found him to be extremely fair and efficient, a real man of his word. I will definitely use his services again, and I just want to thank him again for great service. read more

Called Air Pro a bit before 7:00 this morning as AC went out Friday evening and no one could make it out then and only one volunteered to call me back at 9:00 this morning to see if I still might need service. I am sure I woke Mike up. but he was very pleasant. He actually asked me questions about what had happened prior to AC going out (no one else had done that) and he knew exactly what was the problem. He stopped by my home on his way to Lake California to do a job and had the AC fuse box changed out and AC running in less than 20 minutes!!! I will be calling him in late April to come out and inspect my AC for certain and recommending him to anyone who asks for a referral. read more

We needed to find a repairman for our heating unit so I started looking for someone near us and found Air Pro. I liked that the reviews were from people who had used him a few times and where happy with his work and felt he was honest and fair priced. We called him at 3:30 pm and he said he could come right over. Mike got our heater fixed in about an hour and was really nice and professional. He showed us what needed to be replaced and gave us the price before he started the work. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to our friends and neighbors and will have him out next spring to clean our air conditioning unit and get it ready for the blazing hot summer. In June of 2019, my wife, Rebecca D., left a 5-star review for Mike at Air Pro. At that time, the contactor on our AC pump went out. Today, it was the motor ... after 22 years and a lot of use during these hot days, it finally bit the dust. ONCE AGAIN MIKE WAS THERE FOR US!! We'd give him higher than a 5-star review if possible, but since that's not an option, we can only tell you as the reader of this post - we highly recommend him for the quality of his work, knowledge of his profession and promptness in his reply and service. (Not to mention, he's a really nice guy!) Thanks again, Mike! read more

I talked with Air Pro ( Mike) and let him know we were having an issue with our Air Conditioning coming up to temperature. This was late afternoon. He said if he could catch up on what he was doing this afternoon he would make it out to our residence. Mike showed up about 6:pm! I wouldn't have expected him until the next day at best! But here he was! Friendly and very professional. He diagnosed and had the unit serviced and running cool in about an hour he even washed, the fan unit area outside and changed the filter! I would highly recommend this company again! read more

In the summer of 2015, during the hottest part of the Summer, our Air Conditioner broke and we were stuck. Mike came to our rescue. He diagnosed the problem (and it was a sneaky one) and found a way to fix the unit without having to replace the whole thing. It took him 2-3 trys before he got it going. He even came back during the night to make sure it was still working. He is a saint and a hard worker, and I wouldn't go with anyone else. It took me three years to finally take the time to write this review, but I didn't forget. Thanks Mike!!! read more

Our furnace stopped working and another company came out and diagnosed the circuit board was faulty, however they did want to replace the board but wanted to sell us a complete new HVAC system. I called Air Pro and Mike responded to our house within a few hours. Mike diagnosed the same circuit board, replaced the part and tuned up the furnace to work more efficiently. Mike was professional, polite, proficient and most importantly honest. We have found our new HVAC company and would highly recommend Air One. read more

We called Mike at 5pm when our air stopped working. He called back within 15 minutes, and let us know he could be at our house after the call he was on. He was at our house around 7:15pm, air was working again by 8:00pm. We were so impressed that he didn't hesitate to come late in the evening and had the parts and knowledge to complete the repair then and there. He was also very flexible with the payment. He's a total professional, and we will use him exclusively for our heating and air conditioning needs. read more

Air Pro was amazing, he came out right away on a sunday, in 105 degree weather, and replaced my AC motor. My trash house warranty - "First american home warranty" told me I had to wait over a week to have someone come out to fix it. It is over 100 degrees each day where I live right now, and we have sick people in our house. I had AirPro come out instead, he was there within 1 hour and totally fixed it. He responds IMMEDIATELY, and professionally. Dont go anywhere else. read more

My ac went out during the heat of the summer and Air Pro was able to work me into their cycle promptly. In a short period of time they had a diagnosis and extremely reasonable price to repair. The cream on the top was that they carried the part in their vehicle and my ac was fixed and back to top shape shortly (under an hour...YAHOO!). I will never go anywhere else. This is what customer service is all about and Air Pro delivers! read more

My ac went out and we were hot all day! 86 degrees inside my home and we called Mike and he was here within 45 minutes and had me up and running in less than 1 hour! Called Air Pro, this morning to help a friend who has been without heat for 1 week, Mike was very helpful and came out in a matter of a few hours. Got her heat back on and was kind in explaining possible other problems. I appreciated his honesty and will let others know that are still helpful and kind service companies out here. Thank you Mike, I will not forget your kindness. read more

Mike is awesome! He is very honest, dependable and knowledgeable. My air conditioner stopped working, my house temperature reached 90 degrees inside. I called Mike and within (he had just finished a job close by) 30 minutes he was at my house. I highly recommend Mike for any air conditioning/heating problem. Thank you Mike for your dedication and great customer service. read more
