Stumbled upon this place last night after deciding the In N Out line was too long (as usual lol). We were on our way to sadly just eat some McDonald's haha when my boyfriend saw this place and wondered what it was. I quickly jumped on Yelp and it looked good, so we turned around to check it out. First off, the decor and wall art is all amazing. The place was super clean and we were greeted by the woman at the cash register immediately. She was super nice and didn't even make me feel dumb when I asked for my SMASH burger to be cooked well done (I was hungry y'all!!!). We ordered 2 singles, hand cut fries, and a bottle of water. Even after we tipped $3 our total was only $20, so I was a little perplexed. I checked the receipt at the table thinking maybe something got left off by mistake but nope. Apparently the first single was $6.95 and because we ordered a second it was only $3.95! Amazing deal! The food came out pretty quickly. Everything was hot and fresh. We ordered the burgers just as they come and they were perfect. I will definitely order bacon on mine next time. The fries were crisp yet soft and had the perfect amount of salt on them. The dipping sauce they gave was awesome too. My boyfriend isn't really into dipping fries but he used all his sauce and finished mine! So happy to see a place with a simple menu done extremely well, great atmosphere, and great service! We go to the movie theater near them at least once or twice a week and have already decided this will be our new go to place for a quick bite before or after a movie! read more

The place is like a retro, laid-back, easy going diner. Walls have art and vandalism looking paint. Clean inside, music not too loud. Cashier was a pretty young woman. The burger itself was very good tasting. The fries were prepared In n Out style. Real beefy taste AND texture. It's what I'd call an old-fashioned burger (but I think they have one called old-fashioned that is not smashed). I recall 30+ years ago burgers had more texture than just a hunk of seared beef, that's why the taste here is memorable. I'd normally give it 4 stars, but the thing that runs me the wrong way is that tomatoes and lettuce are extra. WTF? Here in California, that should be standard. I don't like the feeling of being nickle and dimed. And you'll see the picture of pathetic 2 slices of tomatoes, really? I cannot give my full support to Yelpers to try out this place. Asked for a vegan burger and vegan cheese fries. Payed for it. Receipt said vegan cheese fries and vegan double. Well, absolutely nothing was vegan. Do they even know what vegan means? Chef said the sauce isn't vegan. There's mayo in it. Cheese on the fries was literally regular melted nacho cheese and I ate it. The guy in the back said they don't have vegan cheese for the fries... but the receipt said vegan cheese, see pic, I ate it thinking it's vegan and immediately knew it wasn't. Went here for a quick meal on a Saturday and was surprised on how good it is!! My friend got a burger with fries and I opted for Smashed Fries with extra lettuce. It was perfect and delicious. I don't really like hamburger buns that much (but love the carbs!) so a bun-less burger like this is just awesome. I can't attest how good it is when it's to-go, because the burger I brought home for my bf was sloppy. Then again I made a couple of stops before reaching home (sorry babe!). When eaten fresh though, the fries were crispy and the texture is a wonderful match to the creamy sauce and slightly bouncy chopped hamburger patty. I got the double burger with nothing added and cheese fries, while my husband got one double burger with nothing added, and another with lettuce, tomatoes and bacon, and Cajun fries. I loved my burger (the original), and he also preferred the one with nothing added (which is a great thing - the original is the way to go.) Both fries were delicious. I'm unfamiliar with this chain. The vegan burgers were good my mom liked the regular smash as well. It's two doors from a "wild foods" place with an impossible burger for $20 bucks. This was better made and half price. All in all a good choice, but man had an amazing time here because of the woman working the counter today 9/7/22.
