Smashburger used to be the only fast food restaurant that I would eat at however my chicken sandwich was so awful that I won't be going back. My son said his double smash burger was 10/10 which is great but my grilled chicken was inedible. The chicken definitely tasted like it was microwaved.. so rubbery and they doused it with mayo so all you tasted was mayo but felt the rubbery chicken in your mouth. I could not even finished it. I expected more for the price.. over $30 for burger, chicken sandwich and 2 med drinks. Ouch. read more

Food was good- not as crispy as a smash burger should be, but my issue was with pricing and I think the server thought I was dumb but I was too tired to argue with her. I went yesterday and just wanted three patties and cheese ($2.50) each. She claimed she can't ring that up even though it's been done before. This restaurant is new to South Bay & is still undiscovered.. but I'm sure word will quickly spread. Burger is great.. well seasoned and perfectly cooked. This smash burger is in the manhattan mall, more towards the south side near, sort of on the newish side close to sidecar donuts. Not sure why they got 3 stars, i think the quality is much better then your avg iffy fast food burger, and the fries were an interesting rosemary infused french fry. Overall, i enjoyed my burger and would definitely eat here again. Place is new and really clean inside. Not sure if they sell those smashburger t-shirts but i want one lol. I always collect food t-shirts so please sell me one lol. Anyways, was thinking to myself. Classic or Colorado. I was thinking go easy, start out with a classic smash burger. Smashburger MB Classic Burger with lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, Ketchup and special sauce along with roasted cauliflower were delicious! The bread is special and soft, great with the burgers. I love that they use parchment paper to wrap the food that is safer instead of plastic or foam type of containers. Highly recommend and will be back. read more

I always come to eat here with my friends on random days and the food is always amazing! The service here is great and I really feel like a welcomed customer everytime i'm here. I'm not the biggest burger fan (i know i know weird, right? lol) but some friends mentioned how great this place was and that there would be other option available to me if I tried it out. I'm honestly glad I did because I was pleasantly surprised at at how good it was! I got one of the chicken sandwiches and just from the presentation alone my mouth was watering lol. The sandwich itself was massive, flavorful and filling. You also get the option of regular fries, sweet potato fries, tater tots, Brussels sprouts, crispy fried onions or a side salad. To be honest I'm soooooo happy there are ANY other option than French fries because i don't like them.. lol.. don't get me wrong I'll eat a few here and there if they are in front of me but I'd prefer i just not see them at all because they just make me feel so.. BLAHHH. I went with the sweet potato fries and they paired so well with the chicken sandwich. I was surprised that I did not feel 'full' despite there being so much food. I did not feel heavy or gross in any way, which is usually how i feel after eating at similar establishments. The shake wasn't worth the $6 and didn't taste like chocolate AT ALL so i won't be getting one of those again and suggest you don't either. It's also a weird consistency. Sitting in the dining room we waited 30 minutes for our 2 burgers and realized the managers should implement some sort of music system - all we were hearing were the very loud conversations and yells of the employees - who were all very nice by the way! What a treat! Thank you, Irving, and the rest of the staff at Smashburger! Loved the location, great, pet-friendly patio right in front. I ordered myself the double classic smash and my man got the double bacon smash. We also got an order of the haystack onions and the french fries (because you can't order just one side when visiting a new restaurant) and the cinnamon toast crunch churro shake. I do believe the shake was a promotional menu item, so it might not be available any longer. Aside from the cereal pieces they topped it with, the shake was delicious. The cereal pieces got pretty soggy, but that's to be expected... it is cereal. The burgers were cooked perfectly and rather large for smashburgers, paired with a delicious brioche bun. I would gladly drive all the way back here, from the valley, just for those haystack onions. I'm not in a rush to make the drive again, but if I'm in the area, I will absolutely stop in for a burger. I placed an order through UberEats. It was kinda frustrating that I couldn't modify my order through the app but I called right after I placed my order. Spoke with a nice kid and told him what modifications I need on my salad and he said "no problem" I received my order and it had onions all over it when I asked for no onions and I asked for the dressing on the side and got no dressing at all. I'd never had a smashburger or any similar burger before--I was going into this having heard "They smash it on the grill and there's lots of butter and it really brings out the flavor". I really did not expect how good it would be--I ordered the Colorado Burger and it really did not taste like food from a chain at all. I'm not a big burger connoisseur or anything, but I will actually come back to try a different one I'm sure. The Smashburger fries with rosemary were delicious as well. Alright so you look at the pics and it looks all juicy and fat but....it's mid at best. Patties are smaller than in n out lol for the price def ain't worth it. Counters, floor, and restroom are all dirty. The inside smells like dirty mop water. Like come on y'all take pride in your where you work. This is such a great addition to the village! We love the fries and the milkshakes! We're hoping they add impossible meat to the menu soon for a vegetarian option.
