Mixed feelings on this place. Service was good. Nice people. My wife and I both had their $10 special. It was a half sourdough burger, fries, chicken nuggets and a drink. Actually a real bargain today. Here is my issue. The burger had a really small meat patty. Didn't feel like a half sandwich. Thisis normally two patties, so the burger should be a full patty. The toppings were generous and delicious. The other issue I had here was that the one bathroom working was kind of messy. Not unusable, just somewhat messy. Could have been a sloppy customer. Parking: shares lot with chipotle and walgreens This location has a lot of parking and can be hectic because there are 4 entrances to the shared parking lot. There are kiosk for self ordering and there is someone there to order in person. I recommend ordering on the app. They were quick in getting it prepared. To pick up mobile order, go to regular pick up next to the cash register and let them know your order name. They place it behind the counter. There is indoor and outdoor seating area. I love Berger and after In-N-Out habit burger is my second favorite casual burger restaurant in Los Angeles this branch in specific it's always clean, spotless friendly staff great service and consistent food. I've been to habit burgers that the burger was uncooked or burned or was just not right this branch always is consistent in quality. The burger is done to perfection always juicy on the inside. Light crisp on the outside and the ingredients are fresh and tasty. They can get very busy at lunchtime. We ordered 5 total burgers. -2 bacon char - cheeseburger - Portobello burger - teriyaki burger -2 1/2 & 1/2 fries and onion rings - 10 pcs chicken nuggets - sweet potato fries - 4 shakes What we thought? The burgers were smaller compare to others. The fries and onion rings were really good. The fries were cooked perfectly and the onion rings were crispy and fresh. The shakes were also really good. We loved the condiments station. The banana peppers, ranch, ketchup and chili peppers were a great addition to our meal. The only complaint is the burgers were small for the price. Service was good and friendly. Nice convenient location, ambiance is fast food, clean and relaxing. They have plenty of tables to accommodate large groups and families. Never heard of this burger place heretofore, and it was by chance that we checked this eatery out, while waiting for our flight. It turned out far exceeded our expectations. Big fan of Habit burgers! They always do a solid consistent job and I can confidently say they're in my top 5. This visit was special because I got to try something different, I had a reward on my app to redeem their grilled chicken club sandwich. It honestly was way better than I expected, it comes on buttered sourdough, chicken was juicy, mayo, tomato, lettuce - basic, but flavors were hittin! I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding a recent order from The Habit Grill. I ordered a Double Char meal, and the experience was extremely disappointing and concerning. The burger patty was raw, which is a serious food safety issue. I have photos to document this. Consuming undercooked meat can cause illness, and I was genuinely worried about getting sick. In addition, the regular French fries were cold, and the sweet potato fries were also cold, making the entire meal unacceptable. Due to the raw meat and poor food quality, the whole experience was terrible and unsafe. I expect better quality control and food safety standards from your establishment read more

This was my first time in a habit burger but I really wanted a patty melt but learned it is seasonal. I walked in and asked if they still had it, the gentleman sad no. I said aww you broke my heart. He said "I got you!" He built the order to where the outcome would equal a patty melt. That was so cool of him to do that. It made my first impression of Habit Burger a wonderful one. While I waited I was offered a water cup (I had a drink in the car). The dining area was very clean and spacious. Plenty of seating. It was so good/what I was craving, I forgot to feed the phone. The Habit never misses! My go-to order is the Santa Barbara Char with a side of green beans and ranch and it hit the spot as always. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, even though we came in close to closing time, the quality was still on point. My daughter ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and really enjoyed it too. Habit Burger used to be a frequent haunt before the pandemic, so when one evening we decided to make the trip to grab some burgers and sandwiches I was quite looking forward to it. I picked the spicy fried chicken sandwich and onion rings - which was so disappointing. I mean how do you wrong with deep fried food and spice? The fried chicken seemed to soaked in oil which tasted stale. And the same oily taste permeated the onion rings. Just because something is deep fried, it doesn't mean that it should be dripping in oil. We decided to come to this location instead of the Torrance one since we were leaving Costco and wanted something close and quick. First thing I noticed were kiosks for ordering. I decided to walk up instead and ordered a teriyaki burger, char burger with cheese, and half and half onion rings/fries. It took a while to get our food. Seems like there were a lot of orders called in that took precedence. When we eventually got our food it was ok. I remembered the burgers to be bigger before, but could have been my imagination. My husband liked the onion rings. I ordered the fries without salt and they weren't hot when they came out. Parking was easy. Customer service average. Came here after a long day, just wanting to avoid having to go to the grocery store to make dinner. Let's just say , I should have just ate at home. I asked for the lettuce wrapped burger, and my kids had the cheeseburgers while my husband got the charburger. Food came out pretty quick, 1 star. Greeted with a smile, 1 star. Got out food, about to take the first bite of my lettuce wrapped burger and there was a strong smell. At first I thought, maybe it's the paper holding the lettuce, perhaps it's the lettuce or even the tomatoes since it didn't look so fresh. I peeled off most of the lettuce, went to give it a bite and the strong smell was still there. I smelled the actual patty and it reeked of fish. Spoiled fish. We notified the girl at the counter and all she responded was, "we don't sell fish here, it's all grilled" . Not an apology, not a let me change it for you, offer a refund, nothing. If I am not mistaken, there is a tuna filet sandwich on the menu, but perhaps at The Habit, Tuna is not considered a fish. I didn't eat it, my family's patties did not smell the same. I didn't receive a confirmation email though. I ended up ordering at the kiosk in restaurant. The burger was underwhelming as in my previous experiences there. Tiny patty with good char taste, but was overall a good basic burger. Their burgers remind me of the local burger stands that are all over Southern California but not as good as their reputation suggests. This place is located on PCH which is very busy. It shared a lot with a couple of other businesses. Read the signs in the parking lot. They have designated parking, which isn't very much for Habit. I don't know if you can just park anywhere. It is oddly packed for a Walgreens. So parking beware. It's been awhile since I've been to a Habit. They have self-ordering kiosks (iPads) now that you can order instead of standing in line to order at the counter. If you know what you want, the kiosks are faster as there's always someone holding up the line asking questions or deciding at the counter instead of when waiting in line. This is a fast food chain so they have their own standard. The burgers are great but they have their own theme, which is Santa Barbara, California (yes, that's a theme, not just a city). So, take a look at their menu online before visiting. read more

Have gone here many times and had excellent service which is why they get 4 stars but my visit on 10/10/25 was scraping bottom of barrel. I ordered a charburger with no tomatoes, grilled chicken sandwich with no cheese or tomatoes, and a Sundae with the utensils and they got all three wrong. What I got was a chicken sandwich with everything on it, a burger with no pickles (I wanted pickles) but lots of tomatoes, and a sundae with no utensils.
