I've been going to Rally's since I was a kid. Love it, love the food from their burgers all the way to their unbelievably delicious fries and more. I went to a Poppy concert recently that ended late night and was craving food. Since I was on my way home from Hollywood, I was thinking to myself: "Damn! Ever since they closed the Rally's near me, I've been craving some even more! Let's look for one on the way home from Hollywood!!". I was hungry as hell and excited to have Rally's again for the first time in years! YEARS! When I arrived at this one, there was a line in the drive thru; which is super standard/normal, so I honestly didn't mind it too much. Off the bat, there were some homeless around, but only 1 as opposed to my old Rally's that used to be near me. I noticed that they were selling a new Bistro Buford Burger that has brisket (or some kind of quality meat) on top of the already ground beef patty, bacon, etc. on its greatness, so I was excited even more! My car made it to the two-way ordering box, the lady got my order and repeated it to me right, perfectly, plus I got some brookies!!! Yeahhhhh!!! ....got to the window, paid, for my meal, took it home, opened my bag, and found out that I got everything I wanted, BUT my burger wasn't a damn Bistro Buford!!!! WTF!?!?!?!? Does this particular Rally's expect us to literally unwrap our burgers to double check them before we leave the drive thru!? This is extremely unacceptable. I guess all the bad reviews on here were right about their crappy service!!!; which is sad because the food is great, but the people who are messing up our orders are really tainting the awesomeness of Rally's!!! Corporate! Please fix this problem ASAP and make sure that all your workers have great communication and problem solving skills. It doesn't take much to listen to someone's order and simply fix one's order that's repeated to us, but still messed up! In the end, the food wasn't bad, but I'm a huge mark for simple things that could be avoided. This disappoints me, but the people need to know and this particular Rally needs to improve! Haven't been to Rally's many times. Went with the Big Bufford combo. Was stoked when I opened my bag and saw the fries. They looked really good, but unfortunately had a sweet aftertaste. Guessing they deep fried some dessert in the same oil resulting in sweet fries. Only had a few before tossing the rest. Somehow there was also a receipt of someone else's order in between my order of fries. First time that's happened. The Big Buford Burger was decent though not good enough to reorder for me. I did enjoy the bun though. The staff here clearly isn't very concerned with preparing the food in a professional manner. Ordering via drive thru was also a bad experience as the static made it difficult to hear. I won't be rushing back. At least not this particular location. Rally's has always been top notch in my book. I love their app. Its very easy to use, quick and convenient. The food is ready for pick up at yhe time promised as well. I hadnt been to Rally's in years because the quality of the their barbecue boneless wings started to lose their quality. I was so used to plenty of sauce and the chicken juicy. I would often recieved them dry and I would have to add bbq sauce just to enjoy them. Well this location didnt disappoint me at all!! My wings were perfect and so was my fries. I might cling to this location. The customer service was awesome as well. Crystal was so polite. I was concerned about my order seeing that the day I decided to order wings online, upon pick up there was a sign posted on the speaker in drive thru stated they were out of wings. When I seen it, my thoughts were "why didnt they blur it out on the site or state that they were out?" I asked and she explained with such kindness. I'm definitely returning back to this location. Good food but the drive thru was hella slow! Was there for like 30 mins. I've seen people who got there after me to go drive thru and they ended up parking to order at the window instead. What they need to work on is the fish sandwich. It was hard on the ends as well. As some was stuck together they Musta got it out of a big bag to deep-fried. It was hot. The ends was hard because it was square we do not care about that part it was just, hard as well. Came back here yesterday...I wanted a snack and ordered 2 hot dogs and an apple pie (2 for 1)... I was disappointed with the pies because they were not freshly cooked...I always order them plain...Seems like they cooked a batch of pies and had them sitting under a light...They were soft not crispy crunchy like they usely be if they were freshly cooked...Microwaved for sure to make them hot which also made them soft...Smh!!!... Listed as Checker's but this place is Rally's. They're basically the same thing as the two companies merged years ago. Not many Rally's burger joints left on the west coast. It's still fairly unique with the signature tiny building offering a double drive-thru. You can drive up the right or left side of the building. The building is small and all customer business is done from the outside. If you aren't doing the drive-thru thing, then your other choice is to park and walk up to the ordering window. There are outdoor tables and chairs to the side if you're in the mood. Umbrellas provide the shade on a sunny day. The seasoned fries are a favorite of most and pretty tasty. The flagship burger is called the Big Buford and it packs a lot of beef. Hot Dogs, chicken sandwiches and hot wings round out the main menu items. I tried to get my oil changed today during my lunch hour, but when they said it would be an hour wait, I decided to postpone that and instead eat lunch next door at Rally's Hamburgers. This Rally's Hamburger's is located near the northeast corner of Hawthorne Blvd and El Segundo Blvd next door to the Jiffy Lube. They actually share a driveway.They have a drive-thru lane on either side of their tiny building and also outdoor seating. I went through the drive-thru and ordered a small spicy chicken sandwich combo for $4.48. I found the sandwich to be sufficiently spicy without being annoyingly hot or the heat lingering too long. The flavor of the french fries were a surprise and amazing. They tasted as though they were dipped into a batter seasoned like KFC's original recipe chicken prior to being cooked in the fryer. Rally's is great! This location is as good as anyone I've ever been to. The drive thru moves quickly and the food always tastes fresh. Their burgers are so flavorful I wish I had started eating them sooner; I used to come here just for the fries. The Fries!!! They are so good that 20 years ago we would drive all the way from San Pedro to LAX just to get them. I'm glad to say there are more locations now. Tip #1: Get more fries! What makes the fries so good? Well they are seasoned, I think battered and always hot & fresh. I've burned my mouth many times cause I just can't wait to eat them :) If you want more then fries the Big Buford burger is a delicious gift for your mouth, but all the sandwiches are great. I ordered the number 4, which was the Bacon Roadhouse combo. Sourdough bread with 2 beef patties, cheese, and bacon. Pretty simple and nothing to complain about. Burger, drink, and fries came out to be about $7. A little more than I expected from a fast food joint, but those fries... Oh man, those fries... I'd come back here JUST for them. MY PPL DONT TRUST THIS RALLYS THE MANAGER SHE SAID HER NAME WAS (VILMA) we went on 6/6/2021 @7:55 pm she was the manager there ...she don't like other races she has a attitude with ppl other than her race and ALL the workers in there are not any other race but hers ..they get irritated if u are not sure or u change ur mind about ur order and she TRAINING her new workers too have the same attitude as her...it got too the point where my husband said don't spit in my food ... my husband simply ask for no sugar on the apple turnovers she's telling the person that she's training at the register they come like that &they either want it or they don't stern face no eye contact until my husband said Whts the problem u don't feel like working or are we the WRONG color ....he said we know they come like that but we have had them several times without the sugar and it has never been a problem OK she was either tired or irritated or whatever the case may be but We got into a verbal exchange between her myself and my husband and it wasn't nice like I said don't spit in our food because we have seen videos of rally workers doing stuff to people food when they have an attitude with the customer it was a video out but I've seen a few and the workers jus watching and laughing while she spitting dropping the burger meat on the floor or the bun wiping the floor with the BUN so my husband stated to her do not spit in my food IT got to the point where we were just like never mind give us our money back we're gonna report you give us corporate number because she just had a terrible attitude and they wasn't even busy so I don't know why she was talking or acting like that maybe she didn't feel like working that day but if you value your business you need to make sure that your managers are treating your customers right.. i'll never trust this rallies I'll never go again and if you do go I suggest you check your food if you are not sure on what you want to order don't step up to the window don't drive up to the window because they have no patience none whatsoever I can just imagine how they treat the elderly people. read more

It's extremely hard (well without Google or Yelp) to find a Rally's Burger in California, or actually the West Coast period. Whenever I find one I just have to visit. They make hot dogs, hot wings, chicken sandwiches, beefy burgers and really good seasoned fries. The shakes are pretty good, I love to get the banana shake, been getting it since I was a kid so it's a bit nostalgic.
