LOVED our experience here. Our food and drinks were delicious and enjoyable. While the portions are on the smaller side I am not at all mad, the bold and unique flavors really made every bite worth it. There were two of us and to address the portions we shared a side of fries which was the perfect way to feel satisfied. Our server Anthony really made sure we enjoyed our meal. He made great suggestions and even brought a free sample of a mocktail. The manager also stopped by our table and made us feel so welcome and happy with our choice of restaurant. Simply amazing. Started with the Potato Leek soup, then the bacon vinegarete salad, and finished with strip steak and frites. Absolutely delicious (wish I had taken pictures!) Their wine list does not disappoint either. Try the Super Tuscan - delicious. Cool outdoor atmosphere, and even though it was cold out, the space heaters do a good job keeping you warm (along with the red wine ). I chose this restaurant for my 30th birthday....MISTAKE. What an upsetting experience. Food was great, however, customer service was inexcusable. Everyone at the table had ordered one drink with multiple appetizers and entrees, expecting to pay a nice amount. Then when we went to order a second round of drinks, the server whispered to my friend that I was not allowed any more drinks. Such a great spot! This was our first visit but definitely will not be our last. We arrived 45 minutes before closing. Our server (wish I could remember her name) and the entire staff never made us feel rushed. We ordered a ridiculous amount of items which I tend to do at a new place I am excited to try. In addition to the pictures, we had a side of broccolini and the Hamachi Crudo. Every dish was delicious and well executed. I was raving about the tomato soup to our server and a few minutes later they brought us out a to go container of the rest of the soup since they were closing for the week (we were dining on a Sunday night). We were the last people a good half an hour after closing time and were hesitant to order dessert. Again, our server did not make us feel rushed at all and we ordered the chocolate cake and House made peanut butter with a miso caramel sauce which was to die for! Even though we had WAY over extended our welcome, the Chef came out and gave us two complementary chocolate chip cookies. I can't wait to return and will definitely be trying the salmon and chicken which were beautifully described by our server as two of her favorite times. Also looking forward to new Fall menu items the Chef mentioned he will be adding soon. Excellent atmosphere, excellent service, excellent food! Went for hubby's b-day with a group of friends. Had a reservation but there was a small wait, no big. Table smelled of bleach which made my OCD heart happy. The food; everything we had was fantastic, steak frites, ahi cubes, the burger and soup with grilled cheese. Everyone was sharing so the way they cut everything up and put it onto its own plate was exceptional. The service; the service was good, we were all talking and laughing so hard we wouldn't have noticed if it was bad. The only down side is the concert benches could use some padding, the small tushies in the group felt it the next day :) The next time we're in Temecula we will be back! read more

BEST idea ever! We ordered the charcuterie plate, broccolini, salmon, and finished off with the cookies and almond milk (made fresh in their kitchen every AM). We were so impressed by how each dish was not only great on its own, but also how each perfectly complimented one another. The star of the show was the salmon with the orange relish & pea + coconut sauce, which was such a unique blend of textures and flavors. My husband and I have been here a handful of times now. We love the ambiance and style of the place. There are so many great seat options on the patio, and can do some great people watching in Old Town. The food is excellent! Everything we have ordered is delicious and never disappoints. I will say that the timing of food sometimes can be aggravating. There have been a couple times we are not eating at the same time as other members in our oarty and were told it's "chef driven..." Okay, the chefs are amazing, but it should definitely be "customer driven." Customers like to eat together. We also have to wait along time to be seated at our table despite our reservation. So, I never like giving anything less than 5 stars ...unless. The food was wonderfull. Our party of four had a couple of rounds of cocktails and wine with our main course. I will say the beet salad, water melon salad, and cubed tuna all stood out ( especially the tuna). The Salmon is a must. It was cooked wonderfully. If I was to be critical, I would say the steaks are a little pricey. They are tasty and cooked right thus the 5 stars. To be honest steak are always pricey at a place like this. Everyone spoke highly of the new place in town "Small Barn," and its celebrity chef Angelo Sosa. We were able to get a table with a little work, and recommend making a reservation or getting o the waitlist as this place is a hot commodity. The food was very vibrant and diverse. We had several shareable dishes that includes fresh fish, vegetables and a salad. Each was unique in its profile. The broccoli with ham and over easy egg may sound simple but each item was PERFECTLY cooked. This seemingly simple dish was so complex in rich, savory flavor, you'll want to try the recipe as soon as you get home. The fish dishes were equally unique and diversified in their flavor profile. I could go on for too long. From citrus to savory, these dishes attack the flavor spectrum. You'll just have to check it out for yourself. Lastly, the service was not only nice, but proud. Our server went to the owner and let him know we were enjoying our meal, and the celebrity chef took the time to not only say hello but greet and speak with us for several minutes. Our little party of 3 ate there on Wednesday night. One of the best meals we have ever had. My husband had the watermelon and tomato soup, something he wouldn't usually try, but he was intrigued by the flavor combination. One of the best soups he has ever had. He also had the steak frites, it too was amazing. My friend and I split the beet salad and waygu burger with pastrami. Again another awesome meal. The cocktails and wine were very good too. This is a great addition to Temecula. The location and ambience cannot be beat and I think this restaurant will see many years of great success. We made reservations and were sat right away. The service was slow, I thought they forgot about us to take our order and although I specifically requested all food be brought out at the same time we waited 5 minutes for the second half of our entrees to be served (this is my biggest pet peeve and the main reason for 4 stars instead of 5). The servers were so friendly and helpful. They gave great recommendations and were always checking in on us. We got to talk to the owner for a little bit and she was so sweet and friendly. We loved that she approached us and checked in on us. It was so polite and made the environment more personable. As for the food, AMAZING.
