[[HIGHLIGHT]]Slow Groovin BBQ is a hidden gem tucked away in the tiny town of Marble, Colorado. It's family owned, super laid-back, and surrounded by gorgeous scenery.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The perfect place to kick back with some good food and fresh mountain air.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the brisket platter, and it did not disappoint. The brisket was tender, smoky, and packed with flavor. Everything is smoked in house and served with house made sides--I had the tangy coleslaw and hearty baked beans, both solid. I started with the fried okra, which came out in a massive portion, piping hot and incredibly crispy. Totally addictive, especially dipped in their delicious homemade ranch. To drink, I had a spicy Paloma and enjoyed everything out on their patio. Between the food, the setting, and the vibe, this place is well worth the drive. Highly recommend if you're anywhere near Marble.

Came on in after a trip to the Crystal mill. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service was quick... loved that there were bar seats on the porch, & tables on the back deck that gave it a real bbq vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Had a spicy Paloma & a beer ate a family platter - food was great but a lil pricey - still very good & excellent friendly service.

This place is hands down the best bbq I've ever had and who would have guessed it would be in little Marble Colorado. You pull up to this place and they have the smoker right in front so you get a good whiff of the smoke! My entire party was gluten free and they knew exactly what accommodations needed to be made to make it work. There was still a good selection of sides which can be pretty limited at bbq places that like to put hidden gluten into things. We ordered the meat platter with salmon, brisket and ribs. The salmon was the star of the show - try it for sure! Brisket was best restaurant brisket I've ever had, and the ribs were above average. We also got drinks which were good compliments to the food and priced appropriately. The Bloody Mary also came with a big chunk of bacon that was amazing. When I am back in the valley I plan on making this a regular stop. 5/5

Two types of service here; super busy and busy. Super busy; expect to wait in line and find your own seat once you get your food. Busy; seated with excellent service. Dog friendly. Amazing food. Recommend: St. Louis Ribs, corn bread and cream soda.

So very very delicious! Noelle is the nicest waitress ever. So friendly and cheerful and kind and pretty! We always order too much. We get so excited about all the delicious food. We decided this time that in the future we could order twisted potatoes for an appetizer and get to try all the bbq sauce options. And we could share a pulled pork sandwich and burnt ends for lunch. Although all the sides are amazing, the fries are our favorite. A side of fried would be the perfect addition to the sandwich. Then, maybe we would have had room for the corn bread ice cream honey dessert. It's worth mentioning two old fashions have a much bigger effect at that elevation compared to normal. ;) You should read reviews prior to arriving, as there is no cell service once you are there. The scenery at the outdoor tables is epic and worth the wait.

We finished 6 hours of epic snowboarding on Aspen Snowmass and was ready to eat some good, good food. We naturally gravitate to the highest calorie intake meal we can take in to replenish after an active day. We started off the meal with THE BEST smoked chickens wings we ever did have. Our server was so fun and gave us some great recommendations and gave us tidbits on our selections. Their wings are marinated in a secret sauce (we know the sauce and won't ever tell) they are smoked and then fried to order and tossed in homemade Buffalo sauce that isn't like your regular Buffalo sauce. It's got hints of tart and sweet and spicy. Drooling good! We shared the platter with ribs and pulled pork and because that wasn't enough food, we also had the pulled pork sandwich. Aspen has the reputation that the restaurants are super expensive but the food is worth it. We were pleasantly surprised because Slow Groovin BBQ was not only one of the best BBQs we've had but their pricing was very fair. The ambiance was a chill vibe with TVs in the bars to watch sports (if you are into that) and the service was so friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Loved our experience and will definitely return on our next trip!

I saw a TikTok about this place... and we were dying to try. It is INCREDIBLE. In the middle of Marble - with zero cell phone service - you find the best "hidden" gem - Slow Groovin BBQ. The food was next level - I had the mac and cheese for multiple meals even after the restaurant. But the BBQ - it is truly amazing. So unexpected but brilliant spot with great service.

We started with the atomic buffalo turds and pulled pork nacho's. Marble is a really special town and this spot is a great destination. They've got lots of great local beers. I enjoyed a lemon grass spiked kombucha.

People always ask me where is the best bbq spot in colorado and this place always pops in my head. It is out of the way unless you're visiting crystal mill but it's the best reward after a long bumpy hike. I love their corn bread and dream about it often. The meats are smoked to perfection and they just fall right off and is so tender and juicy. They have drinks but I usually get the root beer since it's such a crispy refreshing drink after a day in the sun. It does get busy so but worth the wait.

We shared the two meat platter with Cole slaw, beans, and Texas toast. More than enough for the two of us.

We stopped off here after hiking to Crystal Mill. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was hoppin, food was amazing, and service was awesome.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The brisket seriously falls apart- it was so good! The sages we super juicy, and overall everything was really tasty. We'll definitely be back!

This is THE SPOT in Marble Colorado... you can smell the deliciousness a mile away. We were staying in Marble and after a full day of hiking , came down to the community family friendly hot spot for some of the most delicious bbq I have ever had. No reservations taken, just come as you are. But don't wait until you are starving like we did... this place gets packed! Really Marble Treasure.

This place is worth the stop for many reasons. Sure, it is the best BBQ in a town with one BBQ joint, but making this a destination will also take you on a journey you won't soon forget. On your way here, you will see some of the most beautiful CO scenery, and experience a small mountain town. Plus, you'll get great food at the end. Win win!!

I really had no idea how many people would be attending, due to it being an open invitation given at the funeral, or an exact time, due to not knowing exact length of service. I contacted Zack's BBQ and spoke to the new owner, Scott. From my first conversation, Scott took the planning into his hands presenting me several options for consideration. The planning by Scott was exceptional. He put together an incremental plan so as when a certain volume of guest would arrive they would provide another block of meals. This provided the ability to provide outstanding meals while keeping the cost at the most economically beneficial level to both myself and the business. The service of the food was at the same level as in any fine restaurant even though we were out in the pavilion. The food was brought out incrementally so it was always fresh and at the correct temperature. With the weather forecast working in our favor, we opted to have the get together in his pavilion area. The setting was absolutely perfect for the get together. There were some tables in the shade on the pavilion and some out in the sun. The pavilion is situated right at the edge of a large nicely mowed grass area which butts up against the North Fork of the Gunnison River. The setting was absolutely beautiful! The food was served buffet style and was excellent. We had ribs, brisket, pulled pork sandwiches, cowboy beans, potato salad and drinks. It was absolutely AMAZING! All the guests loved the food and made so many comments to both the owner and I about it. If you are planning to have food catered anywhere within Zack's service area, or looking for somewhere to have a get together, I couldn't give any business a higher recommendation. This business made my planning during a difficult time very easy and everything about the event was perfect. We felt the service, food quality and pricing were truly beyond our expectations! 5

The occasion: viewing the incredible "Keith Haring: Grace House Mural" exhibition at MCA Denver back in 2021. Towards the end of my visit, I went upstairs to the rooftop and purchased a bottle of Big B's organic lemonade. Organic ingredients include lemon juice, cane sugar, whole lemons and apple juice, along with filtered water and natural flavor. What I loved about this lemonade is the citrus essence was great, it was not cloyingly sweet (more moderately sweet), and the apple juice gave it a welcome, totally different taste not found in most lemonades. Drinking this delicious lemonade was a great way to cap off an enjoyable visit to the museum. On a different note, I didn't realize Hotchkiss, Colorado is actually closer to Utah than Denver. It's about 236 miles away from Denver. But if I'm ever taking a road trip, I would like to visit Big B's Delicious Orchards.
