Had a quick stay at this hotel for a wedding and grabbed some breakfast here. Overall was pretty good! Pricing was fair and portion was large. Good option for a meal if you don't want to go into downtown.

OUTSTANDING CHICKEN WINGS!! I love chicken wings and this was the #1 best chicken wing I've ever had. We ended up ordering more they were just so perfect. Can't wait to come back and eat here regularly.

As someone from Texas who has had a lot of barbecue and even smokes my own, I have pretty high standards--but Home Team BBQ in Aspen seriously impressed me. The pulled pork and smoked turkey were both spot-on, with great flavor and perfect texture. And the brisket chili? I didn't know I needed that in my life, but now I don't know how I ever lived without it. Beyond the food, the service was excellent. The bartender was not only extremely nice but also really knowledgeable, making great recommendations and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're a barbecue aficionado or just looking for a great meal after a day on the slopes, this place is a must-visit. Can't wait to come back!

Home Team BBQ was just the meal we needed! After traveling for a day or two we didn't feel like driving back downtown to eat dinner. Lucky for us our hotel had this BBQ spot. After reading the reviews it was the general consensus that the locals send people there so it had to be good! Plus all you can smell in the hotel is BBQ so by default you were already craving it. I had the salad with pulled pork and no complaints! It was fun to try the different sauces they had on the meat + enjoy a fresh salad. My husband had the combo meal with brisket and smoked chicken. I tried the chicken and it was really good with the hot hot sauce. The flavor profile was robust and the meat was tender. The Mac and cheese was also flavorful and not dry. The price was good too - for $60 we had a nice dinner in Aspen. Definitely give this place a try especially if you are staying at The Aspen Inn. You can't beat it.

Smoked wings with two sauces. The absolute star of the evening every time I visit here.

This is my family's second year spending Thanksgiving in Snowmass/Aspen. Last year we happened upon this BBQ restaurant and I ended up coming back again before the week was over because I enjoyed it tremendously. This place is set inside the Inn at Aspen. There's plenty of parking in the lot in front- and electric chargers for vehicles in the side lot. We came tonight on the early side as we had three children in our group and everyone was pretty hungry. Ordered food for the kids right away- and a side of tater tots for them to share. The tots are fancified with thyme, pepper and seasoned salt. I made a 180 decision on a cocktail and ordered a Tattooine, which is essentially more or less a margarita-esque drink but it has prickly pear juice and lots of spice so it was a beautiful and tasty cocktail. The adults ordered 12 smoked wings with white sauce. They also come with a second sauce, which was also tasty but I had no idea what it was- kind of garlicky and similar texture to an aioli. These wings are tremendous! Smoked and then I believe fried to a crisp before coming out. I would've eaten them all but we went entrees right after. Chose the two meat combo platter with a half rack of St Louis style Ribs and also smoked turkey. My sides were the tomato and cucumber salad with pickled onions, and the Brunswick Stew. Also comes with a warm and pillowy roll, homemade pickles and pickled onions- with a gift of a couple pork rinds that are so crunchy and seasoned addictively. The ribs? Done so well, the bark is incredible, these ribs are masterfully done. Some places will cheat and boil ribs before smoking or grilling them- no shortcuts here. Lots of meat due to the STL cut. Basically get 3 double rib portions in a half rack- could've just stuck with that. The smoked turkey was flavorful and also still juicy. I used a few different sauces because I'm hopelessly addicted to them. Six different types of sauces, from traditional with different levels of heat, to a mustard based sauce, and a pepper and vinegar sauce that sneaks up on you. I didn't come close to finishing my meal. That's the good news- I'll have more than two meals out of this visit. I placed an order of pork rinds to go. Couldn't help myself. Our server Derek crushed our service tonight. Everything was great food wise, we never needed anything more but Derek was all over his section making sure nobody waited for anything should they need it. When he brought out my giant bag of pork rinds, I had NO IDEA they came with pimiento cheese! I have several weaknesses and pimiento cheese is always near the top. It's such a bonus that I am going to destroy these tomorrow for MNF. Derek also helped us with providing boxes and containers for our sides, and a larger bag so it was easier to manage. I got an extra side of white sauce because I'm gonna drown my turkey in it. Derek also brought a small ramekin of limes for acidity and balance with the chili seasoning. Our family has now been here three times. Each visit was great! No complaints about anything- I also heard (and remembered from a previous visit) that the chicken and white bean chili was a huge hit! The interior of this establishment is definitely a little fancier than most BBQ joints I've been to. TVs everywhere for NFL Sunday, a pool table and enough seats at the bar to handle a crowd. Well worth the visit if you're willing to give it a go.

Brisket (fatty), pulled pork (fatty), Mac and cheese (awesome), beans (eh)

Mac and cheese Sauces Service Also the beer selection was good. The meet however was mediocre. My husband is big on BBQ meats. I'm big on BBQ sides (hence the Mac and cheese eating). He thought the brisket was fatty and the pulled pork was a cheap cut of meat (it was also fatty). Parking is easy. Lots of free parking out front of the hotel the restaurant is in. Service was friendly. They have a fireplace, which is nice. But we thought the meat was too fat. Additional info: we are born and raised in the deep south - GA and TN.

Great spot at the base of Buttermilk mountain near Aspen. Make sure you try the smoked (not fried) wings, they are amazing and were the highlight of our lunch. We got the barbecue platter, a delightful selection of smoked meats with your choice of sauce already on the table. The pulled pork was money though the brisket was really really fatty. Again, go with the wings and I also hear the nachos are fantastic as well, gives me an easy reason to come back. This was a great spot to stop with the kiddo to stretch his legs and get some food in our bellies before venturing over Independence pass. Will definitely get here again, always in for good barbecue!

The service was wonderful, we got our food very quickly, and the ambiance was adorable. A little loud but nothing too crazy. The food itself was fine. The fries are pretty much what you'd expect, except once they got to room temperature they became super hard and not very edible. My husband said the French dip meat was good and tender, pretty good flavor overall. I had the chicken sandwich which was huge! They split the sandwich into three wedges and I could only finish two. I liked the texture of the chicken was nice and I liked the slaw on it, however, the flavor overall was kind of lacking. I would say it was a bit overhyped. Overall, it was a nice experience for a decent price and I'm glad we went. Would we go back? Probably.
