Super cool ambiance inside. The servers were fantastic. Alex took incredible care of us and was extremely attentive during our dinner! Drinks were delish, food was hot and yummy! Def a fun place to checkout.

The service was wonderful. Everything we ate was good. The halibut fish and chips was huge and the batter was perfect. It didn't get soggy and the tartar sauce was homemade. The trout was also amazing..sooo good

Came here for brunch. Cool spot with industrial interiors located right in the center of Carbondale's Main Street - pear salad with fried goat cheese Refreshing - pie with brown sugar cinnamon ice cream I was really impressed by the brown sugar cinnamon ice cream!! Service was a little slow during brunch hour as there was only one waitress

We enjoyed a nice dinner here! Note that tables are extremely close together-not an issue for us but some may not prefer. Our waitress was very kind. I got three vegetable sides for a vegan option and it was plenty of food! I loved the "purple potatoes" (although not purple) and the mushrooms. The broccolini was also good with quite a kick to it. It's typical higher prices as you will find in this area. We were able to be seated on a Friday night around 6:30 with no wait!

Our experience started with Avery, an amazing and friendly hostess who kept us informed and entertained throughout the evening. I've never had a pork chop that delicious (and enormous) in my life and can't wait to go back and have the same dish again along with the sides that it came with, the pear and goat cheese salad was also one of my all time favorite salads, this place is a hidden gem. The prices were very reasonable for the area as well. My mother loved the fresh trout and the boys had the sirloin steak that came in a cast iron skillet and was also perfect. Lastly, the ambience was very rustic and made you feel like you were eating at yellowstone ranch, very Comfortable and well decorated. We will be back soon.

Staying in Marble Colorado and coming down to Carbondale for all the delicious choices in restaurants ... we always seem to come back to brass and anvil mainly because, the food is delicious the ambience is just right and the staff are so friendly and gracious we had the Coloradorainbow trout Campfire style and it was so delicious we can't wait to come back and have it again!

Our group of friends have been friends for 12 years. We try and get together often but you know how life is, it gets in the way. Any way, we were vacationing in the area and wanted to have a late lunch in town. When we arrived at Brass and Anvil, Dylan was the only server there. He sat us, waited on us, was the bartender and was just delightful! He was very attentive, even though he had several tables, and made us feel like we were the only ones there. We were not originally going to go here, it just wasn't on our radar. But the drinks were delicious and the food was to die for! Thank you for a wonderful experience Dylan! We appreciated you for going above and beyond for us!

Carbondale needed an upper-class steakhouse like Brass & Anvil. Service was excellent!

Hire new waiters, rude and judgmental. Insulting even. Go back to aspen with your attitude. You are in carbondale...

You can really taste the quality of the ingredients. The hand-cut fries are fresh, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and the battered onion rings are golden, crunchy, and absolutely delicious. Everything tasted homemade, and the service made the experience even better. Don't let one overly negative review put you off...everyone has different tastes, but if you appreciate a well-made, high-quality burger, you're likely to leave impressed. I'll definitely be back!

An amazing smelling burger joint in downtown Carbondale…read more The menu has lots of options and most are burgers with some other proteins, hot dogs, salads, etc. They only offered canned drinks or bottled Mexican coke (if you know you know) The restaurant is small with limited indoor seating but an outdoor patio in the front and back (back was closed as it was November which is usually much colder) The burgers were cooked to perfection and messy in the best way possible. I had the double standard, which comes with two grass fed beef patties, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, grilled onion (yum!), pickles and house sauce. The fries are cooked to order in canola oil and just divine. They were salted well and a little thin but not matchstick small. The onion rings were the BOMB. Fried to golden brown they were crunchy, hot and something I will have to order the next time. Ask for extra napkins and enjoy!

After reading some of the replies, I'm really glad we had a fantastic dinner at Tiny Pine Bistro…read more We arrived at opening and chose to sit outside. It is the cutest, most quaint space you could imagine. We started out with the cheese plate and some drinks. Everything was excellent. I opted for the elk, my husband the 8 oz steak and our son the kid's burger. Everything was hot, seasoned perfectly and although people complain about the prices, the portions were hefty and definitely worth it. We really enjoyed our time, the food, live music, atmosphere and staff. Thank you for a great meal and wonderful experience, Chef Chuck and staff. We'll be back next time we're in town!

The wildflower honey and salt biscuit had been living in my head for a year and definitely wanted to get that again. We started with the biscuit and the the hamachi crudo, which was prepared like ceviche and served over homemade sourdough. This was delicious!! So fresh and good seasoning - would've prepared the sourdough be sliced slightly thinner and crispier but it was delicious. For entrees, we split the bone in pork chop (sauce espagnole, sweet corn, red pepper, chimichurri) and Pommes Dauphinoise. Both were massive portions and more than enough for us to split. I personally didn't love the pork chop flavor but that was me - the corn reminded me of succotash which I'm not a huge fan of. However the pork was cooked really well and it was a beautiful plate. The potatoes were very rich and we ended up taking most of them as leftovers. Appetizers hit it out of the park for us and entree was solid! Really cute place in Carbondale.
