Not that there are other dining options in this town of 70-80 year round residents :) We were in Marble on the weekend of their "Marble Fest", a multi-day music festival. Friday night we were so so hungry after a Jeep tour up to the Crystal Mill. The tour guides highly recommended Slow Groovin', and even told us what things to order. They did not lead us astray. The restaurant was SLAMMED. Hundreds of people were there for dinner and live music (a kick off to the festival). We had a large group of 9, but they got us seated inside within a few minutes. The food was ridiculous and priced super fairly. Good beer and full-bar menu as well. Fried okra was great. Mac-n-cheese was delicious and "yuge". Fries were house made and topnotch. The Manic Mayor Sandwich, had burnt ends and potato salad on Texas toast... DANG! Only thing that could have been better: the inside of the restaurant was ungodly hot. If they had roll up doors or windows that opened it would have been perfect. Don't miss out! Make Slow Groovin' BBQ a destination.

The perfect place to kick back with some good food and fresh mountain air. I ordered the brisket platter, and it did not disappoint. The brisket was tender, smoky, and packed with flavor. Everything is smoked in house and served with house made sides--I had the tangy coleslaw and hearty baked beans, both solid. I started with the fried okra, which came out in a massive portion, piping hot and incredibly crispy. Totally addictive, especially dipped in their delicious homemade ranch. To drink, I had a spicy Paloma and enjoyed everything out on their patio. Between the food, the setting, and the vibe, this place is well worth the drive. Highly recommend if you're anywhere near Marble.

We took two seats at the bar and were lucky enough to have Tina helping us, she was so friendly and knowledgeable, really a gem. We started with the fiery passion and the rum sour and were impressed by the complexity of flavors in both, the fiery passion was a real winner, with a taste of passionfruit, and the habanero pineapple in the rum really coming through, but not in a overly sweet way, just enough. The chili sugar rim was a unique way to really set it over the top. The rum sour was also delicious, the Demerara, giving it almost a hint of an old-fashioned, but keeping it light and foamy throughout. Such an incredible set of cocktails. I also had the tomato bisque soup, it was so yummy and cheesy, and the staff were nice enough to bring out some local made bread toasted on the side. Then, Tina made us her own special cocktail, a take on a strawberry spicy rum, with an egg white to give it a delicious foamy texture. All the drinks are delicious, and Tina noted that they were the strongest cocktails in the area, with 2 1/2 shots per drink. We were definitely feeling fun and talkative as we were leaving. This place was so upbeat, with games to choose from, but still keeping a refined mountain vibe. We tried to go back again the next day, but had finished earlier and the bar didn't open yet! Bummer. We don't find our way to crested Butte often but next time we are there, it will surely be a stop.

First time dining here after many years of coming up to Gunnison…read more First strike is it is a walk up and order joint. I don't like these because you are under pressure to decide what you want as well as those with you as a line forms behind you. Sit down with menu lets you review the options so you get what you want. The food? It was a medium "OK". Do not get the Mac N Cheese. It has something added that takes away any cheese flavor. It is over priced for what it is. And it is served in a jar! Three meals totaled well over $77 with drinks and a slice of bland cheese cake. Also tipping should be added AFTER the meal. Not at the register prior to getting the meal. You don't know what you are getting and the tip should be able reflect that. Have cash to tip and make your decision on how much. After the lowest amount of tip selected it came out to $96 for the three meals. That was the cost to find out I will never be going back. BBQ should have flavor. This missed the mark. Again, avoid the Mac N Cheese. Kraft Cheese and shells would have been an improvement. Just letting you know before you shell out your money. Staff was friendly.

From the friendly charm of the staff to rustic "dining" area to the delicious bbq this is a must go to place when in town or passing through. I think that the rating should be closer to a 4.3 or 4.5 but I might be a bit of a BBQ snob. Service (A) The staff is super friendly and nice. They did an excellent job explaining the options and providing recommendations. Took a while to pack up my carryout order but they did an excellent job packing it up and took pride in doing a great job. So there is some indoor dining but the outdoor dining is fun. I really like the layout and feel of Moes. Value (A) Seems like a good value - expect to pay between $16-$20 per person. I paid a bit more than that but added ribs. I didn't finish but if super hungry I would have. Quality (A-) The food is really good bbq. Like if I lived close by I would come all the time. And I will visit Everytime I am near by. The cornbread is really really good. The coleslaw was vinegary based. The baked beans are just okay. Was expecting a bit of a stronger flavor. The Bama pulled pork was good as were the ribs. Note the meats were all really good but nothing great. Suggestion - have a sampler platter with all your cuts of meat and two sides. Price it at $24.99 or $29.99. If my math is correct it should drive revenue and profit and introduce customers to different options. If you are in town - I would recommend stopping by and getting some Moes - next time I visit I'm going to try something different.

The staff were friendly, and the outdoor seating provided the perfect atmosphere with fantastic weather. The menu had a nice variety of options, making it hard to choose just one thing! We started with the smoked salmon dip, which came with pita bread, tortilla chips, carrots, and celery. The dip was incredible, and the portion was generous enough that we took some home to enjoy later. My wife ordered the Smokehouse Deluxe sandwich with brisket on gluten-free bread (which comes as a bun) and Hyside fries. She asked for lean brisket, but the server explained they couldn't guarantee specific cuts, as they work with what they have. In the end, she didn't have many complaints, but also didn't find anything particularly exceptional about the sandwich. I went with the brisket platter, requesting a fatty cut, but I ended up with a leaner portion while my wife's brisket turned out a bit fattier than she preferred. We swapped bites to balance things out. The brisket was tender and moist, but we both agreed it lacked strong flavors. I also found the lack of sauce options a bit disappointing; I'm a fan of mustard-based barbecue sauce, and there were only standard sauces available. The Hyside fries (tossed with parmesan and truffle oil) were a hit for me, though my wife and kids weren't as impressed. I'm still on the fence about whether the $3 upcharge was worth it, but I personally thought they were tasty. Our kids enjoyed their meals--two got the chicken tenders and fries, which disappeared quickly, and my third child ordered the Mac N Cheese with pulled pork. He loved it, and the portion was large enough for leftovers. Overall, while the brisket wasn't the star of the meal, the menu variety, atmosphere, and friendly staff make Three Rivers Smokehouse worth the extra 10-15 minute drive from Gunnison. We'll be back to try more dishes since they all sounded fantastic!

Organic ingredients include lemon juice, cane sugar, whole lemons and apple juice, along with filtered water and natural flavor. What I loved about this lemonade is the citrus essence was great, it was not cloyingly sweet (more moderately sweet), and the apple juice gave it a welcome, totally different taste not found in most lemonades. Drinking this delicious lemonade was a great way to cap off an enjoyable visit to the museum. On a different note, I didn't realize Hotchkiss, Colorado is actually closer to Utah than Denver.
