pepperoni, olives, and cheese pizza
J E.

While in Carnegie, I went to another place for dinner, but after getting there I wasn't too impressed with the menu and service, so I decided to grab pizza here... When I came in, they weren't too busy and the pizza maker and cashier were great helping describe their pizza selections to me. They made me a spicy Italian pizza with jalapeños on it. The flavor of the pizza was good, but the crust was too sloppy, as I couldn't pick it up without it flopping and all the toppings falling off, so I had to use a fork and knife to eat it. Sauce was decent and so were the toppings. Prices are fair and the staff even asked how it was as I was leaving... So, their service is really good. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area!

A tasty thin crust creation that will hit the spot. Just the right amount of grease to satiate any hangover. The service was fast and you get the real pizza parlor feel.

Hawaiian Style Pizza

One of the best pizza places in the area. I'm really happy it is so close to home! I'm not a huge fan of the standard thin crust, but they have an option to get thicker crust as well. You can also buy it by the slice, which is rare. Not only are their pizzas great, but their hoagies are really good too. (The Italian is my personal favorite). I know they have desserts too; I haven't tried any of them, but I've seen their cheesecake before, and it looks decadent. I'm not usually the biggest fan of Hawaiian pizza, but I had a random craving for it tonight and it really hit the spot. The small thin crust pizza is the perfect amount to fill you up and have a little leftover. Lastly, the service here is always really kind and accommodating. I'll be back soon again for sure.

They have gone downhill recently. Burned crust. Cold late deliveries. This is specifically the Carnegie location.

We didn't, but somehow got lucky snagging seats at the bar... which honestly turned out to be a perfect spot to eat too! The beet salad was SO good I could've easily ordered a second without hesitation. I had a self-proclaimed Reuben connoisseur with me, and he declared it the best Reuben he's ever had (second only to his own, of course ). It's not your typical version either--no standard Thousand Island overload. The corned beef was perfectly peppered and packed with flavor, and even the bread stood out. Fish tacos? Absolutely a yes. Fresh, flavorful, and just done right. We split sides--tater tots for one dish and the homemade chips for the other. Always go for the homemade chips here. WOW! They had this subtle sweetness that made them seriously addictive. Friendly service, great atmosphere, and food that lives up to the hype. Totally worth it! One quick heads up: there's a 3% fee if you use a credit card, so plan accordingly.

Our first time here and we loved the room upstairs. Very cozy and intimate. Hardly anyone was there at 7:00 pm on a weekday. Everything went well except the food took forever to arrive. We waited 45 minutes for the food to arrive, and we couldn't understand because there was hardly anyone in the dining room. (Two other tables and one group had already eaten.) The hamburger was fine when we finally got it. The homemade pickles were the best. My husband loved the salsa. One thing I wish we were told is that there is a surcharge to use a credit card and there was a charge for the salsa. Both those things were a surprise. I love how this place has history. The grandmother owned the Ritz Hotel in Bridgeville and her 7 Up sign from the hotel graces the walls. All the old black and white Heidelberg photos are fun to see. Even though we were disappointed in the slow delivery of our meal, we may give it another try due to the server and the community feel to the place.

So my friend ordered from here during a game night around 11 pm on a Sunday since this is one of…read morethe few pizza places nearby open until midnight. We got the large buffalo chicken pizza. When it arrived, there wasn't a phone call, only a text saying it had been delivered. My friend felt bad because they weren't able to leave a tip after the driver came all that way late at night, and when they called, they were told not to worry about it. So my recommendation is to keep checking your phone because they may not call once it's delivered. I also think calling customers would help so people can leave a tip and so the pizza stays hot instead of sitting on the porch. If my friend hadn't checked the phone, we wouldn't have even known it arrived. Although the pizza was smaller than we expected, it was absolutely delicious and honestly crave-worthy because I'm still thinking about it. At first I felt a little disappointed because there was no tomato sauce and I had really been craving tomato sauce, but the buffalo sauce had this weirdly addictive quality to it and worked so well with the cheese. I can definitely understand why they don't combine it with tomato sauce because the buffalo flavor would probably overpower it, but I still secretly wanted the tomato sauce too. One thing that impressed me more than expected was the quality of the chicken on the pizza. It was sooo good. I don't know if it was grilled or what, but it was excellent chicken -- juicy, flavorful, and not even slightly hard or rubbery. The chicken honestly made me want to try their chicken bacon cheddar ranch and chicken broccoli Alfredo pizzas too. I just wish every slice had the same amount of chicken because I think the chicken was what I was looking forward to the most. I also still want to try their regular pizza with tomato sauce and will update this review when I do. Even though buffalo chicken pizza normally wouldn't have been my personal first choice, I somehow ended up eating 8 slices because it was that delicious and easy to eat. Definitely more pizza than I planned on eating, but something about it kept making me want another slice. Looking forward to ordering from here again.

Honest review! 10/10…read more Let's start with the fact that I could smell this place down the street before I even got out of my car! My mouth was salivating before I even got inside! As a new Yorker, it's so very hard to impress me when it comes to Pizza! I'm the pickiest! A true pizza snob! But this place was well worth all the hype! Underrated if you ask me! All of the staff were very friendly, and helped me decide what to try. It definitely gives "family vibes" as soon as you walk in there. It's the definition of a hole in the wall, but I loved it. I live all the way in east Pittsburgh by plum and I drive ALLL the way over to Brookline, through the tunnels and under the bridges and over the bridges and under the tunnels again LOL. Its 100% worth the drive. No other pizza will do. Also the provolone Sticks are to die for. Literally, I almost died. So cheesy! Be warned its a mouth full haha.
