After walking on the Montour trail, I decided to pick up pizza for dinner. I couldn't get through on the phone so I decided to drive over and put in my order in person. That processes went smoothly. They conducted the transaction through the door due to COVID, and everyone was masked up including me. 15 minutes later someone came out with my pizza. The pizza was very good. Beer-worthy good!! I ordered a medium supreme on normal crust. They put something on the crust to give it a thin crispy coating. It was very good, we devoured it. I've been here many of times. It's a great local place to get good pizza in Library. Recently I had ordered during COVID19. I was impressed. They had me pull into the parking lot for pickup. I've driven by Ya Ya's on 88 many many times and never really thought much of it, mainly because it looked like an ordinary pizza place and also because it's a little far from me. Listen, Ya Ya's is nothing ordinary. A coworker told me she orders from Ya Ya's at least once a week and it's her favorite place for pizza, so I had to give it a try. I've also become a regular and it also has become one of my favorite places for pizza. The traditional hand tossed crust (my favorite) is a relatively thin crust (but not too thin) and they always put just the right amount of sauce and toppings, never too overwhelming on any one thing. My absolute favorite thing about the pizza is the crust. There is something magical about it. Perhaps it's a brushing of butter and sprinkling of cheese that creates this beautifully crispy and delicious crust. Ya Ya's is definitely doing it right and the pizza will always be worth the drive for me. read more

Ya Ya's is our favorite local pizza place by far - head & shoulders above their half-dozen competitors within a 5-minute drive from our house. The pies are always hot & delicious, with a perfectly chewy crust, and their system for picking up take-out orders is well-designed & executed. They're always friendly on the phone, too, no matter how busy they are, and they're often slammed (a good sign). I used to be a big fan of Ya Ya's pizza. They produce a very good pizza. But, their service deserves failed grades. I have tried on many occasions to order from them. The line is always busy. Last week I tried for an hour to speak to someone with no success. I appreciate the fact they are busy. Other pizza shops seem to be able to at least answer their phone. If they are so busy maybe they should get additional phone lines and more staffing. I firmly believe that the "law of diminishing returns " will be enforced soon. I absolutely LOVE Ya Ya's Pizza! I can't tell you how frustrating it can be to find a good, small business pizza shop when you're used to the pizza in NY (where I'm from). The food here is fantastic, I recommend it to everyone all the time, do yourself a favor and stop in to try it out! My favorite: a large pie, cut into 8 slices, topped off with spinach and left in the oven for just a little longer than usual. Oh, and the owner is such a genuine person. This is some of the best pizza I've ever had. The sauce has the right consistency the dough is homemade and the regular pizza is not overly cheesy which is fine in my book. This is literally the best pizza I have ever eaten. It tastes home made and authentic. I noticed other people here commented about the sauce. The sauce is amazing. I am pretty sure they are holding some old Italian woman hostage in that kitchen. The crust is amazing. Really good little pizza shop. My mom just moved into the South Park area and after unpacking boxes we decided to order in. We had never tried this place before but figured why not give it a try??? It was really yummy. The pizza has great sauce! Also they did not skimp on any toppings. The veggie hoagie was delicious, a great option for those who don't want to eat meat. The veggies on it were very fresh and plentiful. It had lots of mushrooms, green peppers, onions, spinach, etc. My mom also got a buffalo chicken salad that she enjoyed. Attempted to order a special from Ya Ya's. One pizza and two gyros. They said that was for a cheese pizza, which I understand. I asked if I could pay more to add pepperoni, they said it was only good for a cheese pizza very indignantly. Either the person did not know how to charge more for a topping or they are simply rude. The real issue I had was that the pizza was so soggy. I get that the abundance of toppings can add to this, but the soggy crust and thin slice made it a sloppy mess to eat. This is the second time ordering from this pizza place and absoutely love their food! Friendly people answering the phones, relatively accurate delivery times, and the pizza is great. You can tell the dough is fresh and made in house. They are very consistent with cooking times because the cheese on the crust is always golden brown which gives it that extra crunch. I'm from Chicago originally, so my expectations of any other state's pizza is low. I saw they offered a "thin and crispy" version so I decided to try it out. It was really good!
