This is the best place to go skydiving ever! From the time you arrive to the time you get on the plane, everybody treats you like your family. There are no hidden fees. They do have restrooms in good clean working condition.The gear was all in good condition...(clearly if I'm leaving a review) the instructors are very clear on what to expect they review things numerous times and when you're nervous, you need it. Today we had the pleasure of jumping with Joel, Jason and Rob. These boys are absolutely amazing this place is a 10/10!!! They have 1 rule which is to have FUN!!! Just remember you only live once don't wait until you can't and wish you had

This is the best place to learn to skydive! I did my first tandem with Jason Allison who made it fun and took great care to make sure I had a blast! I decided to get my license here because I knew I would get Individual attention from highly trained instructors with a huge emphasis on safety, and excellent management. Jon "JB" Butcher was my primary instructor, he taught me all the things I needed to know to be successful, reassured me after my failures, and encouraged me to grow in the sport. Now we're fun jumping together most weekends and it's awesome!! they have a bunch of rental rigs, a fun jumpers loft, student room, nice packing area, and a huge play yard for spectators and for entertainment while you're waiting out the weather! Year-round jumping being in Arizona, great community and family like atmosphere! I love spending all my spare time here. They even have a bunk house where you can stay in case you drove a long way and you wanna be there all weekend or across multiple days while you do your trainings.

Joel was such an amazing person to do my first jump with. The jump did what 10 years of therapy couldn't do for me. I can't recommend this place or people enough. Such an amazing experience. Really good photos and videos for memories as well.

Such a scary and fun experience, my first time skydiving. We got there around 9.30am to check in, signed a few forms, we were given instructions a few times just to go over the whole proved, we jumped around 11am. I had second thoughts when I was in the airplane since I had to jump first but my instructor Brad was so awesome and comforting. We jumped 13,000 feet height with a 45 second free fall. I paid extra $100 and something for outside video. I couldn't have a better instructor for a first time jumping. The landing was smooth and easy. Definitely a memorable experience! The whole crew was really awesome.

Fun experience! The whole process was easy and went very smoothly - our reservation was at 11:00 am, got there around 10:30 am, filled out paperwork, got weighed, the instructor explained the step by step in detail to ensure that I was comfortable. Got on the airplane by 11:30 am and overall had an awesome time. Thank you Jaime, Joey and George for making my 3rd jump so memorable. I had the videos and photos emailed to me right away later that afternoon. I highly recommend Skydive Phoenix!

I had such a great experience, this review's getting written. Everybody from the front desk to the parking lot was a pleasure to have crossed paths with. This was my first jump. My instructor, Ryan, had exemplary communication skills, was professional, and maintained a positive and relaxed demeanor throughout the whole experience. Lukas, who made sure to capture sick videos and photos, was hilarious, energetic, and generally fun to be around. Media was emailed on the same day as well and not for nothing, they played all the bangers in the waiting area which contributed to a great atmosphere. 10/10 would jump again. read more

So this is something I've always wanted to do. Well, when I finally got around to doing it I almost chickened out and I'm so glad I didn't. I bought two Groupons, one as a gift and off we went. The weight limit is I think 260, with my boots I was 262, and with them off I was 259, so I ran and put on my vans. I started freaking out because they got one of the smallest guys to take me, and they even made sure he felt comfortable jumping with my big ass strapped to him. After he agreed the fear started to set in. We had to upgrade the package that would take us to the highest altitude because of my Size and I did splurge and get the wrist camera and the video from the 2nd jumper. Come to think Of it I never received the wrist video and called them but got no answer. I ended up giving up. Anyways, it was a amazing time. They calmed my fears, made it fun, and after the initial drop it's so freeing. I want to do this all over the world now! It was such a amazing feeling, you don't feel like your stomach is gonna come up, it's just wind and then peaceful quietness! I took controls for a bit and my instructor guy let me guide us a bit. Then we Landed like I was in a James Bond movie. On my feet and done. So intense!!!! read more

Such an incredible experience for my first time. From the moment I arrived until the time I touched down on the ground safely, the entire staff made me feel comfortable and lots of encouragement. Since my first time, I went tandem with an experienced instructor (Brad) who made the entire experience something i will never forget. Brad was awesome and made my jump only that much better. This was a bucket list item and I could not thank the entire team, especially Brad and Joey for the once in a lifetime experience. I highly recommend anyone looking to go skydiving, these are the people you want to go to. Additionally, the video from my jump only assists me in reliving the entire jump... Well I scratched this off my bucket list, FINALLY! And Skydive Phoenix made it an amazing experience. I made all reservations and payments online. I got there a little early, they found my reservation, I filled out some waivers, watched a safety video and then they called me for set up. They geared me up and explained the do's and don'ts. Honestly I was SO NERVOUS the entire time but the staff was very calm and re assuring, which made me trust them that they knew what they were doing. It didn't finally settle in until I was sitting on the edge of the plane ready to jump out. AHHH just thinking about that moment gives me chills. I ordered the Ultimate Package where I get filmed from the outside and also handycam, and i definitely recommend that for your first jump. I want to definitely do it again and I can trust that Skydive Phoenix would make it great! read more

My group of 5 and I were all skydiving for the first time, and we couldn't have had a better experience. All the staff was extremely friendly and gave us extremely helpful recommendations, tips, and instruction prior to any action. Checking in to our reservation was easy, and we didn't have a single issue the entirety of our experience - only fun and memories! My backpack, Joel, went above and beyond with my group. He was extremely welcoming, helpful, and funny. He got us excited and kept us engaged with the thrill. The video and photo package that he captured turned out amazing, with some beautiful cinematic effects he did himself with the camera. I would go back just for him! Best experience of my life. I was paired with Jason and am so grateful. He does an amazing job of keeping you calm. He had a calming yet assertive personality. This was such an amazing experience!!!! The crew was outstanding, made me feel super safe and comfortable while I was there. They made the experience so fun and relaxing (even though some of their jokes can be terrifying to someone who is very scared of skydiving). It was so surreal, I will absolutely be jumping again when I have the chance, and if I'm ever in Arizona I will be going here!! We paid around $313 for a 13K jump (60s free fall) and a videographer who jumps alongside you, check Groupon to get that price!! read more

I had such an amazing experience!! From the lady who checked me in to my instructor Luis and Videographer Dustin, everyone was wonderful, kind and encouraging. This was my second time jumping so I knew what to expect. They made sure all the necessary checks were done before and during the flight up to 13,000 feet. The feeling of jumping out of the plane, the free fall and glide with the parachute released is something indescribable. It's truly a magical experience. I also got an amazing video to commemorate the event. I would definitely come back here again. read more

I have now jumped 3 times from here. Each jump has been better and better. The staff is phenomenal. Each tandem instructor was awesome, professional, made sure you were at ease and ready to have fun. I think my tandem guy was Joe this last time ( I'm horrible with names) , I know Steff was with me on my second and I forget who I had first. They let me control the parachute more and more with each jump. My 2 friends tandem instructors were great too. We had the time of our lives. We plan on jumping together in 6 months again. I will definitely be back sooner. read more

"Alea iacta est" Julius Caesar said on January 10, 49 BC as he led his army across the Rubicon river. I always wondered how I would handle when I push myself to a point of no return. I thought skydiving will put me to that situation and I always wanted to try anyway. I felt uneasy up until a few days before the day, I thought about canceling it so many times until the last day I can cancel with full deposit back. Upon arrival, we watched a short video explaining what to expect. I took off my earnings, necklaces, and any other jewelry I was wearing. Put on the jump suits, watched my guide fold the parachute. As I watched him fold so precisely, I felt very comfortable jumping with him. Going up to 10,000 feet, I chatted with him the whole time. I looked back at my girlfriend and her face was turning blue as higher we went. I don't remember the conversation I had with him as my mind was about Julius Caesar, I wondered how he felt when he crossed the river. Once we reached 10,000 feet, we were first off. I hesitated for one second before I was able to put my feet out. After that, I was calm. Figured panicking now would not do any good. Free fall was the greatest feeling ever! I enjoyed every moment. After we safely landed on the ground, I wanted to go back up and jump again! I completely trusted my tandem guide, and I was able to enjoy my experience. It was ah ha moment. Caesar trusted him and his army. With careful planning and preparation, once we reached a point of no return, we just go for it. Skydiving here was a life change experience for me thanks to Skydive Phoenix and their professional staff. Anyone wants to go skydiving with me? read more

This place is great, especially for first timers! The staff here will make you feel really comfortable. They joke a lot and don't take it too seriously, which really helps calm the nerves--but at the same time you can tell they're pros who know what they're doing. I did a tandem jump with Chris and he was the best!! If it's your first jump, I highly recommend doing the picture and video package and upgrading to 13,000 feet so you get a longer free fall (it goes by in a flash!). read more

I am not sure how anyone could give this less than a five star, it was amazing. So.... I am a mom of 6 and my 22 year old daughter took my second daughter on her 18 birthday. Sweetie, I know. It was a dream they had forever so this was the best!! I had to tag along just to be present and experience it with them. I really super wish I knew the names of the guys that jumped with my girls. One was amazing, one was awesome. So we loved them both!! We got videos and pics for both girls since it was their first time. There is the cutest, tiniest, sweetest girl that works there with a strong accent and she is the best!! I WISH I KNEW HER NAME because i would insist on her. The pics she took were absolutely amazing and fun and she took twice as many as the guy that took pics of my other daughter. OK, tiny, blonde, strong accent, adorable... ask for her!! I want to say I am terrified of height. We hike and I get so scared on cliffs or steep hikes.... like I would NOT bungee jump to save my life. After watching this crew and these jumpers and feeling the vibe of this staff I THINK I WANT TO DO IT!! I mean, they were chill & kind & helpful & explained it all & just sweet!!! Falling to the earth is a very cool experience. If you're reading this... You know you want to or are curious about skydiving. Stop over-thinking it and go for it! Skydive Phoenix was a really fun first time jumping out of a perfectly good airplane. Joel was my instructor, and he's kind of a multifaceted badass. Skydiving wise, he was super informative, entertaining and I felt very safe. I asked a butt load of questions on the plane ride up because I'm a Curious George type monkey, and he answered them all patiently. Be mindful diving is subject to wind condition, and your life is at stake here... So you may need to dodge and weave with conditions - I did. I was rescheduled for the next day first thing in the morning. Skydive Phoenix is also veteran owned, and there are a number of veterans that work there as well. Good feeling to be able to support a veteran owned business. read more

Took my husband here for his 54 birthday and we both went skydiving. My first time. He jumped twice about 30 years ago, so it was like his first time too. Everybody was awesome. My jump master was Dustin, which is easy to remember, since that is my husband's name too. He was fun and made me feel at ease as much as he could. Great landing. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a thrill!! Thank you Dustin for getting us back to earth safely! We got the video package but I don't have a picture to post right now it takes a couple of days to get that back. read more

None of us had skydived before and Skydive Phoenix made it such a memorable experience. From the minute we parked on property, we were met with a fun and hospitable crew. Even other staff were giving me fist bumps and helping me to be at ease. I definitely screamed (sorry Johnathan ), but I always felt safe from start to finish and taken care of. Honestly, it was such a good experience that I already booked another jump to try again and be a little braver. If you're nervous like me, they really take care of you here!! A morning of high flying action!…read more Where to begin?! So travelled down to Maricopa on a Groupon. Not really sure what to expect as you pull up to a small hanger near the local airfield. Started small talk with the other people waiting until our instructor Mo showed up. First thing out of his van was beautiful happy golden retriever named Rosa. She just helped set the mood for the rest of the morning. Mo was very friendly and informative. He was very quick with getting all the paperwork out of the way so we could get straight to the action. So easy to sign your life away on a waiver, right?! Continued out to the airstrip to watch Mo get all the equipment set as we sat around with intros and watching Rosa's energy. Quick set of safety instructions and the first person strapped in and was off the ground in minutes. Not that a dog should be the highlight of the flying experience, but Rosa was so excited to watch help set up and chase you down the airstrip. I would say she made the entire experience 30% better. Everyone walked away extremely elated with the experience. Mo was very professional and just a fun overall person to be around. We ended up tipping to basically make up the difference of the discounted Groupon. Well worth the full price of the ride. You show up for you time slot and fill out your paperwork online outside in a covered area. The office staff brings you the paperwork for your signatures, you bring the completed docs inside and pay. If you buy pics you meet your photographer.. like paparazzi you get your own!! Then your tandem partner gets you into your harness and goes through the basics an answer want questions and then you wait. Wes was my tandem partner and he was awesome! Before you know it you're jumping on a trailer that takes you to the plane .. you jump in with your tandem partner ..climb to 13,000 feet and then you're in the sky flying high above Eloy .. you turn to one side and see Phoenix .. mountains .. blue skies .. it's peaceful and amazing Your landing is pretty easy knees up and then extend them .. your tandem partner will tell you when and what you're doing .. you slide on your butt across the grass (how are there no grass stains though.. huh!!) .. We did a sunrise hot air balloon ride, so we had to be up at 5am, and leave before 6am because it's about a 30 min ride from Phoenix. When you arrive, you register in and then they will assign you a hot air balloon pilot. Once everything is ready to go, each pilot will call out their own name for guests assigned to them to follow them to a van. Each van then takes each group to a place that's about maybe 20 min away to a different location to where they set up the air balloons to take off. Each pilot will go over key things to be aware off and how to enter into the cabin of the hot air balloon. There's plenty of time allotted to take pictures (lots of people dressed up so they could get cute photos with the hot air balloons as a backdrop), but keep in mind it's so cold early in the morning so you may want to bring a light jacket. After the ride, the pilot cracks open a bottle of champagne and juices so we can toast to an amazing ride. This was an incredible experience and I highly recommend it if you can (and for those afraid of heights, I promise the ride itself is smoother than riding a plane, it's the most slow and steady ride you can experience!).

One other issue is that I had paid for the video and pictures but I did not see it in the email. I called 3 days later to inquire and the person promised to fix it right away. In their defense I had made the reservation for Saturday so that could have caused the issue. The fact that he got the video and pictures out right away was fantastic. Also the videos were extremely good quality and better than our 2 phones. The instructor made sure of it because he positioned my grandson in front of their camera which made a big difference. He also positioned him in front of my wife since he saw her taking videos. Obviously I can't say enough good things about them. Well worth the money.

Needless to say, I left happy before I even hit the water. The surf lagoon is the obvious star of the show. Having waves crash onto a white sandy beach is a pretty awesome experience, especially here in Arizona. There were plenty of lounge chairs, umbrellas, and shaded areas, so it never felt like we were fighting for space. The diving pool was another pleasant surprise. There are multiple platforms to jump from, and the lifeguards allow enough freedom to have fun without making the experience feel overly restrictive. If you're feeling adventurous, they also offer body surfing and surf lessons. The amenities were solid as well. The bathrooms were clean, spacious, and had plenty of changing rooms and stalls. Lockers are available to rent, which is a nice convenience if you're bringing the family. We also grabbed food while we were there. No, it isn't five-star dining, but that's not why you're here. More importantly, it was genuinely better than I expected for a water park. What impressed me most was the overall atmosphere. It was energetic without feeling chaotic. My family had an absolute blast, but somehow the park still managed to feel relaxing and comfortable--something I can't say about many water parks. We'll definitely be back.

My wife jumped for her 30th on the 31st of March. The jump went well, her tandem partner was professional and knowledgeable. Her tandem partner should find a better company to work for. That is where the compliments will end. I have nothing against chain smoking, swearing, tattoed individuals. I think everyone has the right to smoke, swear and tattoo to their hearts content but hanging out with the group at Skydive Phoenix was like hanging out at a thrill seekers prison. Apart from my wife's tandem partner no-one working at this location was professional in anyway. A bunch of chain swearing, chain smoking kids and 30 year olds that wanted to still be kids. When we showed up for the jump that she had already scheduled they acted like we weren't supposed to be there. Perhaps we were taking space in the airplane that the employees wanted to use for a free jump? There was a pitbull in the yard where you wait under a canopy. That would have been ok, it was hyper but nice to the humans, problem was I had my dog with me. I picked up my dog and held it after the pit started pushing it around. That didn't stop anything. It kept jumping and biting my dog. A staff member put it into the trailer three times but it kept getting out, running at my dog (15lb lhasa apso) and biting at it. As my wife was loading on the plane the dog escaped from the trailer for the third time and ran right for my dog. I asked an employee, named Cody, to put the dog back in the trailer. This was the interaction. Me (at this point holding my dog with the pitbull jumping up on me) : Could you please put this dog back in the trailer? Cody: Bones (the dog) lives here Me: I understand, but it is jumping at me and biting my dog. Will you please put it away until we leave for the landing site in 10 minutes? Cody: No At this point I was shocked... Me: Did you hear me? Your pitt is biting my dog. Please put it away. Cody: You should put your dog in your car It was probably close to 95 degrees and he wants me to put my dog in my car instead of putting their pittbull into the air conditioned trailer! Me: What is your name? Cody: Cody Me: Cody, I am a customer paying $300 for my wife to jump and get a video. You have a pitt bull puppy attacking my dog and you are telling me you will not put it away? Cody: No (he turns away from me, ending the conversation and boards the plane with my wife) Cody's antics on the ground wern't the only thing to complain about. My wife says that on the flight to the drop zone one of the two employees that were with her taking a jump on their break (Cody was one of the two) passed gas that was so profane that she almost vomited. This might not sound real except... The plane was ancient. It seriously looked like something out of an Indiana Jones movie. It was an extremely small cabin and packed with just my wife and three other men sitting knee to knee. My wife said that the plane ride up was more scary than the actual jump. Overall this place has the appearance of a skydiving company owner by an absentee owner who has no idea how bad his employees are screwing up his business. I would recommend some serious training for his employees, not on jumping, but on customer interactions. Also, someone should take Bones home to live with them, having a pitt that is not being trained living on the property is a lawsuit just waiting to happen. For heavens sake don't put the dog down, just take it away from the business until it has been trained. That and tell Cody that... well perhaps to find a new job? read more

I wouldn't recommend going with this skydiving company. There are most likely better options in the Phoenix area. The front desk manager was very aggressive and argumentative at times. He said he would honor the Groupon price and then overcharged me. When I attempted to get it corrected his response was that he couldn't because "It would cost the company the processing fees". They are not interested in the overall satisfaction of the customer. My instructor was very patronizing about any of my questions. He had a thick Russian accent and so at times I wasn't clear about what he was saying. When I would ask him a question or to repeat what he had said he would say I wasn't listening. My husband and I took our 3-year-old son and my mom with us to hang out while we waited. At first, my son loved it! There was a lot of open space to play and run around. Well, when it came time to go board the plane my mom and my son walked over to where they could watch the plane take off. My mom doubled back to where our stuff was to grab something and I was called over to have my gear reinspected. Because my mom had doubled back without my son my son came over towards me. When my son approached me, my instructor literally screamed at him. It scared him so bad that he ran away crying. I had to send my husband over to him because he was terrified. Leading up to getting on the plane they have you watch a video that informs you about all the risks associated with skydiving and they make it clear that you are risking your life by doing so. They have you sign a bunch of legal documents that say your heirs cannot sue them if you die. I felt it was completely inappropriate to create such a hostile environment between a family right before you board a plane to take on such risks. It created unneeded stress and anxiety that didn't need to be a part of the experience. After the dive, I went to speak with the front desk manager and he told me that it was poor parenting because we "should have known" that family wasn't allowed over there. He also said that the signs that would have informed us of that were covered up so there was no way for us to know that we were doing anything wrong. When my son approached me we were nowhere near the airplane, we were in a covered waiting area away from the plane and there was no signage or communication as to what the rules were. I told him that I was all for keeping any rules that would keep my family and me safe, but that it's impossible to keep rules that I'm not informed about. I would definitely recommend skydiving I just wouldn't recommend this company. They made a supposed-to-be awesome time into a disaster. read more

I used Skydive Phoenix for my first ever jump (tandem) whilst on vacation in Arizona from the UK, i had a great time. I found the whole process from the initial booking to the jump itself professional. Stuart did the tandem jump with me, he is ex Australian military and explained how the jump would work in a clear, customer focused manner. They wanted me the customer to have a great experience, they answerd any questions i had and kept the whole experience fun. They kept saying any concerns, questions etc just say. I felt really comfortable which to me was important as I had never done a jump before. I can not rate this company highly enough, I read some of the other reviews on this site and wonder if they are talking about the same company. Everybody I dealt with was great, The jump was amazing, fantastic views of Phoenix and the Sonoran It is really worth doing. I got the DVD/photos which are fantastic, worth getting if doing a jump. If you want an amazing Arizona experience with a company that looks after you and makes the whole experience fun and safe then I can not recommend Skydive Phoenix highly enough. I was staying in Scottsdale and they are real close to the city in Maricopa so easy to get to. A fantastic experience, can not rate highly enough! read more

Friend and I had a really enjoyable time while we were there. Staff was friendly and the jump was great. We were however, told over the phone we would receive a discount since we were jumping with three people. I'm not sure why would be told we would get a discount if this isn't the norm. I confirmed with the girl on the phone that if our friend wasn't able to make it, we would still receive the discount and she said yes. The person over the phone was very unclear about the pricing and when we paid the day of the jump, we thought we paid the right amount. I called a few days later when I realized that the price wasn't matching up to what we originally thought. The lady over the phone was incredibly rude. I called later that day and was put on "hold", only to be hung up on a minute later. I waited a few minutes thinking it was a mistake and called back and was sent to voicemail after a few rings. I then sent an email that was ignored. We finally got in contact with one of the staff members we had met and he said he would honor the discount. Over three weeks later and we have not been refunded. I am not normally a person to write reviews but feel as though we were taken advantage of and were told false information. read more

I am deathly afraid of planes...they scare the crap out of me so when a friend asked me to go sky diving I jumped at the chance (after all you only live once). The whole experience was awesome. They staff were great. We had a reservation which was nice and we didn't have to wait long to get up off of the ground. The ladies at the desk were rather fun & entertaining and made the videos less painful. There was 8 of us jumping so we split into 2 groups. My tandem partner was Fred. Not only was he explaining everything to me moment by moment, I was made to feel at ease and it was way cool (and rather cute). I wasn't nervous at all and being the first in my group to go, the initial going out of the plane was a breeze (given I was pushed out so not much of a choice). The free fall was for a minute and you literally feel like you are flying. Once the chute was pulled it was smooth sailing for several minutes which I got to steer. The only scary part was when Fred loosened me but that was horrible either. The landing was amazing (we made it to the grass). I so want to do it again I had such a great time. Only down side is having to wait a couple of weeks for the pictures and video but that isn't a bad thing. read more

What can I say; I'm addicted! I've done several tandems at Skydive Phoenix and have had an amazing experience each time! I was hooked from the very beginning and couldn't get enough. They just moved to a new location which is a lot nicer. You can watch the jumpers come in as you wait your turn. I've got to know the staff a little better as I just did my third tandem. Everyone I've encountered has been super nice and witty! They love to crack jokes which is nice when your nervous about the jump. As noted I've now jumped 3 times and my first jump was back in June through Groupons. I didn't have a bad experience but they did tell me how overwhelmed they became with the responses of Groupons. It took some adjusting and they actually don't run that ad anymore. They rather be able to give each customer that fun personal experience they're looking for. I read some bad reviews and it dates back to the Groupon dates and I'm telling you, this place is well worth giving a try. I know I'll be back! read more

A friend of ours is working on his skydiving certifications and, somehow, someway, talked us into joining him for a jump. We drove out from near Blythe, CA to the drop zone near Gila, AZ and called to schedule our jump enroute before Skydive Phoenix even officially opened. The staff was very accommodating and ensured we were scheduled and taken care of. This was my and my wife's first jump and our instructors were "China" and Luis, respectively. Both instructors were extremely knowledgeable and made us feel very comfortable with the process and the "need-to-knows" of jumping. Luis managed the handcam during my wife's jump and the footage turned out fantastic. An experience of a lifetime that I would readily recommend to anyone. Skydive Phoenix will take care of you and ensure your first jump is an experience you will never forget!!! read more

Holy. Fucking. Shit. This was the most exhilarating, life changing, amazing thing I have ever done. I was completely unaware my life was missing this until one day, it was thrust upon me. Do not wait until you are checking things off of your bucket list, as this was something else. I felt like I was making gravity my bitch. If you are nervous, great, be nervous. Embrace that feeling because this is something you will never regret doing. My tandem diver, Danny, was literally the greatest human to be there with me during this serious , life changing event. And Haley was also great (My videographer). The both of them made me feel so at ease and made it known that I would not regret one second of this. If you are contemplating going, this is your sign. I took my co-worker skydiving for her birthday with a group of 4. We chose this company because they told us we could jump as a group, which was important to us. When we got there they told us they only had 3 instructors so we couldn't jump together, which was very disapointing. They also booked another group of 4 to show up at the same time, so we had to sit there for over 2 hours doing nothing while the other group jumpet first. That being said, once we finaly got around to it the actual experience was good. The instructors were friendly and confident. We went up with a group of expierenced jumpers in the larger plane and that was a very fun experience. I'm not sure I would recoment the smaller plane space on it seemed very tight when jumping tandem. read more

Even though at first sight the place might not look like much, well... sorry to disappoint you, the services (mainly customer service) are only about twenty times worse than what the place looks like (which again......... isn't much... and that's a compliment). However I would definitely like to point out the positives, the second trailer next to the main office is excellent; the toilet is exquisite even though it doesn't even flush (still does a better job than anybody that has the dignity to work under the disrespectful and cowardly manager that runs this place). Since you have a lot of options for skydiving around the phoenix area, don't let the groupon deal fool you into coming here, because anything else is better. read more

I've been fun jumping at Skydive Phoenix, and every visit has been an absolute blast! The staff here is top-notch--super professional, friendly, and always making sure everyone has a great experience. The vibe is relaxed yet well-organized, making it a perfect drop zone for both experienced jumpers and newcomers. Big shoutout to Figz in the office--dude is hilarious and keeps things fun while running things smoothly. The facilities are great, the planes are well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere makes for an awesome time in the sky. I went skydiving here with my brother and it was pretty nice. I was annoyed that after making my reservation and confirming it over the phone, when I got there, I was apparently not on the schedule. Waited longer than I thought, but skydiving was fun. I could tell that the instructors do this way too often, they go from super exited when they have their camera on to kind of bored when it is off. I'm glad they make the video great, but I would have liked them to talk more during the trip up. It was quiet aside from my brother and I asking a few questions. read more

It's simple, since you have other options around the phoenix area, why go to the one with the lowest rating on yelp (for good reason), the most incompetent workers, the rudest and most useless customer service, and most importantly, the crappiest pilot/manager/owner who prefers to use his precious time duck-taping his poor excuse of a plane rather than speak with the customers when they have a legitimate complaint. I just can't wait for the day they run out of business. God knows I won't feel sorry for any of them. read more

I have to say I was so excited to go skydiving for the first time until I showed up at this establishment. I walked in and between the smell and the uncleanliness I almost didn't even jump. The equipment looked outdated and was sitting in a pile in the corner. I met the owner and I couldn't believe how rude he was considering I was paying a lot of money to his establishment. Don't even get me started on the condition of the plane. STAY AWAY FROM HERE. There are much better jump sites out there. read more

Had a great time during my first skydive with my girlfriend at Skydive Phoenix. Great price using Groupon. My instructor was Brian and my girlfriends instructor was Jason. Steve was the skydiver that filmed me. All three guys were great. Kept us very comfortable and reassured the whole time. What a great experience. Will not be the last time I jump. If you're looking for an experience of a lifetime, look these guys up. I see some other reviews that don't agree but that wasn't my experience. read more

I sure have a lot of respect for veterans. For the manager/pilot of this place on the other hand... I have absolutely none. His employees are terrified of him, yet he is terrified of is his customers. A joke of a "man" running a joke of a place. My advice, go on a blimp ride if the other skydiving places are fully booked. It sure will be worth your money compared to Skydive Phoenix's manager cr*pping all over you and your wallet. read more

Best experience I've ever had. The most professional and knowledgeable staff as well. Being my first time skydiving I wasn't sure what to expect or how scared I would be due to my fear of heights.
