We really enjoyed our ride today and we have been there 3 times Eddie was really nice and we love our horse spirit and beauty

I was obsessed with my horse, Eleanore. She was the best. The second half of the ride she did seem quite tired though. The check in process was a bit terse, and the woman working was not very welcoming. The safety brief was quite quick and we started right on time. It felt like we had a fairly large group (16-20 people) and 3 wranglers. This would've been a great sunset hike if it was an hour earlier. The majority of the ride was in the dark (the trail is not lit; you just have the night sky). I had a head lamp so I could see the surroundings but was told to turn it off because it could interfere with the horses' sight (which makes sense, but by that same logic they should've mentioned no flash photography). I was hoping for more insight into the trail or the area as we were riding but the wranglers didn't say much- maybe they do for daytime rides, bc even if they did give anecdotes, we wouldn't have been able to see anything. Overall for the price and the length of the ride, it was fair; although it was a long time on a horse, if it's your first time or if you don't ride often.

I really enjoyed my first trail ride experience here! I went on a solo trip to Arizona and found this place through a recommendation on TikTok. I arrived realllly early and basically had to sit around and wait until it was time to go over the instructions, get assigned a horse, and start the ride. The staff were all friendly, and I learned that they're a volunteer-only based establishment which makes me respect them even more. I had the pleasure of riding Yute, a cute male horse who helped me lead our group. It was a 9am ride, and I assume Yute isn't a "morning person" because he would walk slowly at times and I'd have to guide him to pick up the pace. Occasionally, he would get distracted by the greenery and I'd also have to guide him back straight so we could continue. Overall, he was a good boy! This was a very unique experience and I really enjoyed the ride. Kristen was the wrangler in front of me and we chatted quite a bit and became well acquainted. She deserves 5/5 stars too!

What a great evening ride! We had a wonderful tour, and then an unforgettable dinner. Thank you to the staff Mo, Jenna, Eddie, Fernanda, Peter, and especially Court! Highly recommend for tours, group or team outings, fun for any occasion!

We had an amazing day with riding and touring the Arizona desert with Chris and Lefty and our tall club gang. The horses, Corn Dog, Darcy, Ben, Dean, Big Larry, and others were well behaved and obviously well cared for. We will definitely be doing this again!

$65 for a one hour trail ride. Staff were nice and check in was easy. I never rode a horse before and everything was so easy! We even paused during the ride so the tour guide/wrangler could take our photos, which was perfect since I was by myself. Scenery was amazing.

I have been here 4 times now in the last month and I am bringing my friend to this place on Sunday because it's so much fun (twice on the T bone ride and twice on the 2 hour ride). There are times where staff can be a bit snappy but I believe it is for the safety of the riders and they just might not be having a good day so it is no problem at all but my experiences have been overall positive. I forgot the names of the Wranglers I have had but they have ALL been super friendly when I go, and they're ready to share facts about the history of the area and the horses you ride on. I've ridden Mike 3 times and Tyson once (recently learned they were on a drive team together). I love them both so much I wish I could put them in my pocket and take them home with me. They're so curious, friendly, and just cute cute cute. I plan to continue to come here as long as they're open!

Absolutely incredible ride! I took my dad on a two hour trail ride for Father's Day, and we both loved it so much! The desert landscape is breathtaking, and our guide Natalie was phenomenal. My dad was on Ben who was a gentle sweetheart, and I was easily accommodated as a large 280lb person on a beautiful big horse named Tank. As my dad joked, he was a little can-Tank-erous at times, but Natalie was there to get him moving again when he decided he wanted to just stand around and soak up the sun. The horses are all in excellent condition and clearly loved, and I got so many delightful happy horse hugs. The wranglers are all knowledgeable and passionate, the hitching area for the horses is shaded and lovely, and as a person with some physical disabilities I found the tall stable mounting block a nice change - especially as they allow you to dismount using it for a gentle end to the wonderful trail ride. 11/10, and I will definitely be back the next time I'm in Arizona visiting. The prices for the trail rides are also extremely reasonable, and so worth it. If you're looking for a great stable and a fantastic experience, go here and hit the trail!

Booked an hour ride today and had a wrangler named Gregory (I think) he was extremely kind, helpful, and full of knowledge! The horse I had the pleasure of riding with was Waffles and he was a very well behaved and handsome man! My ride with him was very smooth and I definitely had full trust in him on the rocky parts of the trail! BUUUUUUT I had about 40 minutes to kill before the ride so I took the opportunity to get to know a couple of the horses outside the stables and one in particular definitely left an imprint on me. Duke was an extremely sweet boy who just rested his head on me while I gave him head scratches!! Overall this experience was one I will never forget and you can bet your butt I will be back!!!

Four moms and four 12 year old gymnasts! We had so much fun. Eddie was one of our guides and he was really nice and informative. Pete was so helpful in setting the ride up for our group and the girls loved him. We will be back again! Thank you!!!

I'm so grateful for this community and the friends/family I've made being here. I started as an intern working with another amazing nonprofit (EmpoweRanch) and WCR graciously took us on to hold programs and give us a space to grow as a new nonprofit. ER has since moved but WCR continues to provide services and opportunities for everyone to thrive. Stalls are cleaning 2-3 times daily, water is cleaned daily, fresh alfalfa and bermuda, turn out for socializing and exercise, and supplements or other health products are given based on the owner/boarders request. The horses are treated loved on daily and have good size stalls to roll around. Chickens running around demanding you feed them meal worms and three goats! Renovations coming in the near future will make the property even better! Any donations are so appreciated as they benefit the whole community. Also, I need to give a bigger shout out to Jose Ramirez, owner of WCR because I didn't mention he is a Licensed Social worker and retired army infantry. Maeve is also now a ESMHL certified through PATH, which Sayda and I are working on now but Sayda is way closer than me. Everyone here is a total baddie

It's been about 3 years since my Girl Scout troop came to this ranch (see my previous review). Since then my kiddo and I have taken classes at the ranch and we both became volunteers at the ranch. We come to this ranch about as often as we can. The owners make it a point to make everyone feel like family! This IS our family now!!! Aside from the joys of the ranch, my kiddo has advanced riding skills so much that my kiddo has participated in the Black Rodeo, Competitive Horsemanship and Riding and trail rides. Like my kiddo, experienced students at the ranch can participate in parades, shows, and more as volunteers representing the ranch too! If you'd like the same opportunities, you just need to saddle up and start your horsemanship journey, or expand it, at the RR! And, For the person who wrote that they called and no one answered... keep in mind, this ranch runs off of its volunteers. There is a limited paid staff and a small army of volunteers who support RR. This ranch serves as a large animal rescue. This ranch is a place of escape for victims of a variety of situations and this ranch services folks with a variety of physical, emotional and mental needs---- on top of the herd of horses, goats, pigs and dogs that live there. THERE WILL BE MOMENTS WHERE ACTIVITIES ON THE RANCH TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER ANSWERING THE PHONE. Please, be gentle and understanding. Call back, leave a message and give grace. I've added as many pictures as I can. Come out and schedule a tour, sign up for a class or sign up to be a volunteer: you won't regret it! Return Factor: 10000000%

BEWARE of the owner, he makes promises with no intentions of following through with them…read more I would have done zero stars but there is no option for 0. I had to take a month long work trip with very little notice and after looking and talking to multiple horse boarding places I decided to go with Oasis. First we talked on the phone he said he had two 12x20 stalls next to each other with all day turn out. I made him aware that one of my horses is 21 and has severe ring bone and arthritis and definatley needs daily turn out. Also very important my 21 year old gets her 12 pounds senior feed daily or she will loose weight. He said no problem ill take good care of them. When I got there to look at the facility the stalls were only 16x16, really small for 16 hand horses. He reasured me they would be turned out all day, daily and only in the stalls at night. Yelp just said I couldn't have over 5000 characters so I had to really shorten this. Long story short my 2 horses got turned out 1 time in 30 days, my horses did not get there grain and my 21 year old horse appears to have lost atleast 75 pounds, missing there new halters and lead rope. He promised me my horses would be well taken care of. He told me they sent everyone a daily report on water intake, stall cleaning, turnout time and food eaten. I thought wow thats cool never had a facility do that before. He seemed like a very nice and knowledgeable man so I agreed to board my 2 horses with him. A normal border can always hand walk a horse during irrigation or rain, ride them or put in arena but I was 1600 miles a way so I trusted him to do what was needed and he didnt even try. I feel so bad for putting my horses in this situation. And, to put it nicely I really dislike the owner because not only did he totally neglect my horses and there needs he caused me enormous stress for a month. Soooo dissapointed! Feel free to call contact me through messenger if you want more info. There is so much more to this but yelp only allows you to right so much. Misty Beck

My fiancé reached out on Tuesday via text to both Mike and Shannon to set up a ride for the upcoming Saturday (my birthday). Didn't hear back so he called Mike on Wednesday. I texted Mike and Shannon myself on Thursday knowing it was a shot in the dark. We figured they were busy and surely someone would get back to us before the weekend, but we were wrong. I really wanted to go for a ride and had Monday off too, so I followed up on Saturday morning and finally got a response. After some back-and-forth over the weekend we finally got a ride set up for Monday, only for the ride to be canceled the night before due to some emergency on their end. While Mike was very nice on the texts exchanged (thus the 2 stars instead of 1), the amount of communication attempts necessary to get a response was really frustrating. If customers feel like they have to hound you to get your business, they're certainly not going to try again a second time much less recommend you to anyone else.
