Danny is always available to help with any issue, at any time and he works hard at keeping it a clean/peaceful place 7 days a week. The prices for stalls are very reasonable compared to other places. The only horses that passed away or had to be put down were from self inflicted wounds inside their trailer or from colic. Several cameras are placed throughout the farm which can be accessed at any time to review footage. This is the best place around!! Jeanne Espinoza

Two years ago a horse died from tortion colic and the owner let the horse suffer and did not put her out of her misery. She died right in front of me. This went straight to the authorities. Danny allows unsafe behavior and drinking on the premises. There was another incident where someone was kicked by a friesian and by the grace of God, didn't get her chest stoved in. There's also a wannabe horse trainer living in what was supposed to become a second restroom and he leaves horses unattended in the arenas rides them hard and leaves them with sores on the mouth from ripping their face off. He gets away with everything. I also put Irene Martinez in her place after she started with her threats to call the police after I refused to argue with her over something I said. I swept a bunch of dried horse manure that Bonny prince Charles left in the barn isle by where my footlocker was. She found out real quick that I don't take shit off anyone. She backed it off real quick after I started recording her behavior. I have almost 5 years of horror stories to share and I'll be here till kingdom come with everything that happened. Bottom line. Don't board your horses here.

Danger! Beware! Christen Milhon and Facility are under investigation by multiple organizations…read more Dozens of Present and Past Boarders are being interviewed and giving their accounts of what they witnessed while their equine were on property in Christen's care. Proprietor, Christen Milhon, is grossly negligent and has failed to maintain a safe environment for equine and human since taking over ownership of the facility. One Example: She failed to act immediately once learning of cheap dangerous grindings she purchased for boarders horse's bedding, and also for the BLM mustangs and burros in her care. She continued to order staff to put hazardous material in stalls for MONTHS. Thousands and Thousands of 3-inch rusty nails, wood screws, staples, and twisted metal in multiple truckloads of cheap grindings. All while knowing of these dangers. Christen confessed her knowledge of these "Multiple Dirty Loads" to staff when hiring new shavings company that using "Clean Shavings". Christen still refused to take necessary action to clean up dangers properly even after several boarders started discovering dangerous metal debris and clearing out own stalls themselves, with large magnets. She instead chose to fire " Bad Company' and proceed to order clean grindings from a new company and put it on top of hazardous grindings. Complaining that "it would cost $6000 to clean the whole facility and that she would have to raise the board, and the boarders would not be happy with that." Christen publically omitted information multiple times -verbally, in texts and on Wild Hearts private Facebook site for boarders, regarding the dangers to boarders equine. Christen actively suppressed and discouraged communications between boarders. Multiple boarders tried encouraging her to disclose to all boarders and clean up the facility properly, only to be kicked off ranch. This was only the bedding issue... Watch out for 3-foot holes by arenas, concrete and rebar in arenas and round pens...feline urine saturated hay...there is a boarders concerns list 2+ pages long!

Then one day I got heatstroke and collapsed in front of the stalls with seizures. They were back to back and the paramedics that came hours later said I lost my airway and rushed me to the hospital. I died on the way there but luckily was brought back to life. The stall cleaners saw this happen and left me on the floor banging my head on the rocks. I was kept overnight in the stroke ICU and when I got out I had one day to vacate with my horse. Seizures are scary around horses but she booted me without even finding out the cause and that it was a fluke. This girl isn't fit to run a place of this caliber.

However,…read moreafter several months of boarding there, I began to have a feeling that my horse was not being tended to per the contract. To verify that my horse was not being given his supplements and also not being turned out regularly, which I paid for, I devised a way to keep track of my horse's care and found out my hunch was correct. Even after voicing my concerns to the barn owner twice, nothing changed. I believe socioeconomics played a big role in the lack of care for my horse. As a school teacher, I was not one of the clients at Crossroads Farm whose horse was in training nor was I able to afford regular lessons. Neither of these variables should have diminished the care that my horse was guaranteed in my contract and the services I was paying to receive. I was a client at another hunter jumper barn for many years and never experienced this type of "you are less than" regardless of a training program, going to shows, or how many lessons I took. That barn made always made my horse and myself feel no less important than their other more wealthy clients. The same certainly cannot be said for Crossroad Farms.
