From chores to cooking - staying in the house aids you with important life & interpersonal skills. The scope of The Clinical Director and the staffs understanding of this field is profound. They handle life in the present and only looks's ahead. Scottsdale Providence provides empathy, a sophisticated set of interpersonal skills, acts with a sense of urgency, constructive self-insights and encouragement. The staff helped me build a structured treatment plan to initiate helpful growth, strength and a realistic recovery. Although the action is up to you, the therapists equip you with a foundation full Of resources to build upon. They work on your inner strengths and challenge your weaknesses. They offer constructive feedback and are quick to tell you what you need to hear - not what you want to hear. The staff overall truly have your best interest at heart and want to see you succeed. They provided me with a sense of care and safety in being vulnerable. The staff is efficient in they're approach and steadfast to being consistent & professional. Thus far, treatment here has been a remarkably empowering and fortifying experience. They're recognition and approach have pulled me up from darkness into an optimistic state. Going to treatment here has given me hope, direction, and the opportunity to identify what I need to do to live a sober life. Recovery is possible (if you want to be sober) and being a client here has given me that chance. Scottsdale Providence has offered me a life-changing experience; that will put me back on the path to a positive, healthy, and sober life I so dearly have in front of me. Long version: I was originally apprehensive because I couldn't find any reviews for Dana, and when I saw she worked 16 years as a midwife I worried she would be like some of my previous psychiatrists/doctors who made me feel uncomfortable about not wanting children or about being gay. But I really needed an appointment ASAP and she was the soonest available so I went out on a limb and I am sooo glad I did. Dana was absolutely wonderful. I have very bad anxiety and find it difficult to talk to people and I'm easily put off, but Dana was incredibly easy to talk to, kind, understanding, and she made me feel comfortable right away. I never felt judged, dismissed, or pressured. I felt listened to and respected, which made a huge difference. You can really tell she cares! I highly recommend paperflower to anyone. Their billing and admin team are great too. They responded very quickly to any inquiries I had.

I have been to a different Spooner location on several occasions, and they have always been great…read more My recent visit to this location, a bit closer to my home, was no different. I had injured my left foot while exercising on my treadmill at home, and Spooner got me in right away once I realized that I would need a physical therapist. I was assigned to Emily, who is as fantastic, professional, and helpful as every other Spooner therapist has been with me. She knew what she was doing, and I progressed so well that I was discharged earlier than expected. My wife has also had fantastic therapists at this location, so I highly recommend coming here if you have need of their services. A tip: The dedicated entrance to the Spooner facility is on the south side of the office building, so you'll want to park in the parking lot between the building and the freeway. Spooner has a few marked spaces in front of the sidewalk that leads to their entrance. It may not look at first like an entrance you can use, but it is. While I believe you can also access their suite through the hallway leading from the main entrance for the building, that's usually a long unnecessary walk--and depending on your injury, you might appreciate less walking. :)

My…read morehusband, Jed, came here after suffering a severe stroke that left him unable to move his right side and dependent on a Hoyer lift. We are leaving with him WALKING ON HIS OWN -- so well that he doesn't even need a cane -- and regaining so much of his ability to care for himself. He will still require a wheelchair for when he is fatigued but he is walking!! The progress he has made here has been absolutely incredible. Jaz, his Occupational Therapist, and Nicole, his Physical Therapist, were our absolute ALL-STAR TEAM. They are both phenomenal therapists, but what made them truly special was how much they genuinely cared about Jed and about us as people. Jaz helped Jed regain his independence and relearn how to care for himself. She made his therapy personal and meaningful, challenged him, encouraged him and celebrated every victory right alongside us. She took the time to really know Jed and me, brought so much warmth and hope to our days, and made us feel like we were more than just another patient and family. She became such a special part of this journey, and we will forever be grateful for everything she gave to Jed's recovery. Nicole was equally incredible. She pushed Jed, believed in him and helped take him from needing a Hoyer lift to walking independently without even a cane! She knew exactly when he needed encouragement and when he needed that extra push. Like Jaz, Nicole truly got to know us as people. She laughed with us, celebrated with us and became personally invested in seeing Jed succeed. Jaz and Nicole weren't simply therapists to us. They became part of our story. They were the all-star team we needed during one of the most difficult times of our lives, and we will forever be grateful to BOTH of them for helping Jed regain so much of his independence and his life. Kaylin, his Speech Therapist, was wonderful as well and helped tremendously with Jed's memory and cognitive recovery. Her patience, encouragement and work with him will continue to benefit him as he moves into outpatient therapy. Dr. Statt and Dr. Tim were also amazing. Dr. Tim always took the time to answer our many questions, listen to our concerns and make sure we felt heard and understood. We never felt rushed or dismissed, and that reassurance meant so much while navigating something as overwhelming as a severe stroke. The nurses, aides, housekeeping staff and everyone else we encountered were compassionate, kind and wonderful. They didn't just take care of Jed -- they took care of me too. They treated me with love and respect and allowed me to stay beside my husband every single night. I will never forget that kindness. And yes, even the food was good! We arrived scared and uncertain about what our future would look like. We are leaving with Jed walking independently and getting closer and closer to regaining his independence. His recovery isn't over, and we still have a journey ahead of us with outpatient rehabilitation, but this incredible team gave him the foundation, strength and confidence to take that next step. Banner Rehabilitation Hospital Phoenix didn't just rehabilitate my husband -- they helped him regain his mobility, confidence, hope and so much of the independence we feared he might have lost. To Jaz, Nicole and this entire team: you will forever be part of Jed's recovery story and our family's story. We will never forget what you did for us. Because of the years and time spent with Miss Liz, I have been able to help get my nephew some sensory items, encourage his parents on what works, what might not, how to help him and how to meet him where he's at. With that, also comes a lot of patience that I did not have when my sensory boy was little. I had to be taught that. Miss Liz is a great teacher for parents and kids alike. All of these years later, she is still an integral part of our lives. I'm an honorary Miss Liz lately because I've learned from the absolute best. Since then, she has built a therapy place with other amazing therapists that mimic her vision. If your child needs any type of therapy services, there is no other place to take them.

BEWARE of the owner, he makes promises with no intentions of following through with them…read more I would have done zero stars but there is no option for 0. I had to take a month long work trip with very little notice and after looking and talking to multiple horse boarding places I decided to go with Oasis. First we talked on the phone he said he had two 12x20 stalls next to each other with all day turn out. I made him aware that one of my horses is 21 and has severe ring bone and arthritis and definatley needs daily turn out. Also very important my 21 year old gets her 12 pounds senior feed daily or she will loose weight. He said no problem ill take good care of them. When I got there to look at the facility the stalls were only 16x16, really small for 16 hand horses. He reasured me they would be turned out all day, daily and only in the stalls at night. Yelp just said I couldn't have over 5000 characters so I had to really shorten this. Long story short my 2 horses got turned out 1 time in 30 days, my horses did not get there grain and my 21 year old horse appears to have lost atleast 75 pounds, missing there new halters and lead rope. He promised me my horses would be well taken care of. He told me they sent everyone a daily report on water intake, stall cleaning, turnout time and food eaten. I thought wow thats cool never had a facility do that before. He seemed like a very nice and knowledgeable man so I agreed to board my 2 horses with him. A normal border can always hand walk a horse during irrigation or rain, ride them or put in arena but I was 1600 miles a way so I trusted him to do what was needed and he didnt even try. I feel so bad for putting my horses in this situation. And, to put it nicely I really dislike the owner because not only did he totally neglect my horses and there needs he caused me enormous stress for a month. Soooo dissapointed!
