What a fun adventure.. first signing up online was super easy. You do have to put a credit card down in case you cancel, there's a $25 fee If you chicken out. You show up for you time slot and fill out your paperwork online outside in a covered area. The office staff brings you the paperwork for your signatures, you bring the completed docs inside and pay. If you buy pics you meet your photographer.. like paparazzi you get your own!! Then your tandem partner gets you into your harness and goes through the basics an answer want questions and then you wait. Wes was my tandem partner and he was awesome! Before you know it you're jumping on a trailer that takes you to the plane .. you jump in with your tandem partner ..climb to 13,000 feet and then you're in the sky flying high above Eloy .. you turn to one side and see Phoenix .. mountains .. blue skies .. it's peaceful and amazing Your landing is pretty easy knees up and then extend them .. your tandem partner will tell you when and what you're doing .. you slide on your butt across the grass (how are there no grass stains though.. huh!!) .. The adrenaline is insane., you get your pics and tshirt and I recommend you head to the bar next door to celebrate!! Bucket list item for sure .. go do it .. you won't regret it read more

Lived to write a yelp review about it! That's what matters most haha. It was surreal jumping out of a plane. It was 200 bucks to go skydiving (189 if student or military) Kinda fair when thinking about plane cost and paying the guy on your back who pulls the parachute. If you get photos, it's pricy but a whole extra person goes with a camera arranged to their helmet- quality of photos are very clear but your face may look distorted when so much air is going against it. Friendly professional people all around. My sister who's not old enough to go for real yet, went indoor skydiving which she enjoyed. Reccomend. About an hour from both Phx and Tucson. read more

My experience with Skydive Arizona, AKA Adventures in Skydiving, was amazing. It wasn't what I thought it was going to be - it was better. We were given the proper instruction and the instructors made us (me and my son) feel prepared and secure - as secure as you can be jumping out of a plan! :) My great experience was based on my instructor and tandem buddy Bob. I jumped this week as a way to honor & celebrate my late husband's birthday. He was an outdoor adventurous person yet this is the one thing he didn't get time to do. (This is definitely not in my wheelhouse) My instructor was Gena and he was great. I felt safe, protected, and secure with his instruction. I always knew what to expect and was included/checked on every step of the way in the jump process. He was professional and courteous. The facility is expansive, clean and fun to visit. We were scheduled to jump at 9am which ended up not being close to the time we actually went up in the plane. It was a little unclear about where to go/how long we were going to wait. We just kinda hung around for hours and then they put a hold on all jumps due to clouds. That lasted about an hour and then finally came time to jump. We were out by 1:30. Jump was great! Instructors were friendly and made it fun. Just took a lot longer than expected with lots of unclear waiting time. read more

My husband and I had our first jump experience here a few weekends ago and LOVED everything about it. I surprised my husband for his birthday, and I had purchased a "Sweetheart Special" offered during the month of Feb for Valentines Day (included 2 tandem jumps, "picnic lunch", and a 30 minute massage for each of us). It was really busy on a Saturday, so we waited around quite a bit, but the wait was SOOOOOOOOOOOO worth it! The jump was like nothing else we experienced, and once I was strapped to my instructor I felt perfectly safe. Very special shout out to my awesome camera guy (fun, friendly guy with long blond, tied back hair in colorful due rag)---he helped me to relax and have fun (and snap out my shock) within the first few seconds of my free fall, and he shot some AMAZING video and stills. And I still LOVE the fun energy he possess in the video I now have forever! We made a whole afternoon of being in Eloy and my husband said it was the "best birthday gift ever" :) (I didn't tell him what we were doing until that morning, and we are still talking about the extreme rush of the jump. WE are giving Sky Dive AZ 5 stars i because we enjoyed our massage and jump so much, and I appreciate the production this entire team puts on in Eloy! Some of the tandem instructors seemed "bored" or not very friendly, upbeat for having such a fun job, in which everyone who comes to jump with them is pretty excited about. But the front office staff and my camera guy were just super friendly, fun and accomodating! read more

I surprised my wife for our anniversary being able to make it almost all the way to the entrance before she realized what we were doing. Not only was it her first jump, it was her first flight on a plane. This was my second time coming down to Eloy for Adventures in Skydiving. The team was absolutely awesome with great attitudes and kept everything fun and exciting. Everyone was very professional when it came to the safety of everything and ensuring the best possible experience. Alex S. was my tandem instructor and gave everyone good laughs all the way. We were able to see a very nice size dust devil forming from afar reaching to the sky. I cannot wait to come back again and my wife absolutely loved it all. I just called to find out about pricing and availability for a group jump. First time I called, the guy placed me on hold almost three minutes (after a very cold greeting, might I add). I called back and a girl answered the phone. I expressed that I had just called and was placed on hold and no one ever came. She told me she came to the phone but I must have hung up. Asked a few questions, but the lack of customer service over the phone was so concerning that I thought, "Do I really want to place my life in the hands of these people?" This company has got to get it figured out that first impressions are everything. Too bad for them, I was ready to book 3 tandem jumpers for my wife's birthday. :( read more

Grateful I got this bucket list item completed here, but overall the experience could have been much better. Mostly because the instructor was impatient, and cynical and clearly needs to retire. He ran through his "verbal script" like a broken record, not even stopping for air, and then clearly annoyed with one legitimate question about landing. The experience was cool, but could have been exhilarating if I didn't get stuck with him, who dampened the entire experience with his poor attitude. read more

Highly recommend that when you finally decide to dive that this is the place to go to. Just knowing that the divers that you jump with have 10000 plus dives each and many are record holders and champions in their own right takes away any and all trepidation about diving! This expert staff were all very welcoming and reassuring to all of us first timers. I did my tandem dive with a wonderful man nicknamed Monkey Lips. I felt very lucky to have him do my first dive with. He explained everything I needed to be aware of and paid great attention to detail in all the preparation. I never had a second thought about chickening out at the last minute like I was expecting to happen. Emily who jumped out with me to do the video also did a tremendous job of explaining everything and added fun to the adventure! What an adrenaline rush! It was an absolutely amazing experience! I felt very safe and that I was in good hands. It was my first time jumping and my instructor was very experienced. His name was Johnny and he had previous experiences in jumping from military training and personal experience after that. He made sure I was aware of every step I needed to take to make sure it was safe. He also made sure we jumped out after the friend I had went with so we could be around each other so to speak.
