This place is dark, dirty and the massage chairs didn't work at all. I do believe that they rinse out the plastic bags for the pedicure. The owner doesn't know how to do nails. My nails were crooked as a road map. She said that it wasn't. Please don't let the owner do your eyelashes. She used so much glue that glue that the lashes were hard hard as a rock. I had too return the next day to have my nails redone also to remove the lashes and all of the glue that she used. I never did get my pedicure done. Since they were reusing the plastic bag for the foot massage. Please don't go here save your money and time. read more

My nail tech (Mia) did a great job (she deserves a 5 star rating) but was hampered by this young man that kept looking over her shoulder, bothering her and sniffing around. Fortunately she ignored him for the most part so that she could focus on her job at hand. This rating is because if this establishment needs to have better Management who needs to know when to jump in and nip this behavior in the Bud because it leads to unproductive workers and upset customers. Went to a sky Nails for the first time today with my mom. I'm a nurse and need my nails to look as close to natural as possible but remain strong. They advertise on their wall that it's $25 for an acrylic fill. I got charged $55 because I got stilletto shape. She's trying to tell me that there's a hidden charge if you get a different shape other than square. Keep in mind my nails were already Almond shaped so all she had to do was file them. Not going back. If you post a price, it should be that price. Update: it is the next day after getting my nails done and the gel on my thumbs has peeled off in layers. I paid extra for that to last and now I'm having to do it again myself. What a waste of money. read more

I received a pedicure and an eyebrow wax last weekend and will not be back. I informed them that I had gel on my toes expecting them to soak off the polish. Instead they pulled out their tools and started to sand the polish off. Then they proceeded to dig into my nail bed in an attempt to "clean up cuticles" but really she was trying to pick off gel polish still stuck to my nail. Gel polish should be soaked off and now when you look at my nails you can see all of these grooves in my nail from the damage. I cant speak to their other services but just want to warn others that are interested in a gel pedicure from this location. read more

First time coming here for a fill-in and a color change, I never caught the ladies name who did my nails but she did a phenomenal job. Only reason why I put 4 stars was the wait, it was a Saturday at 2pm when I came in but the service felt really quick but not rushed at all. I love my new color. Coming back for sure! read more

I would NOT recommend Sky Nails. They made an error in the gel color they painted on my toes and when I showed them it did not match the color I picked rather than apologizing and offering to fix the error for free, they began making excuses saying it paints on darker. I told them that wasn't expressed to me beforehand nor did any else's polish color come out differently. I am VERY disappointed in their lack to help rectify the mistake, and I'm upset that I gave them a tip. I work at DSCR/Bellwood military base about 15 minutes away and I will make sure to share my experience with everyone I can on base. read more

Got a pedicure on Thursday with a friend. They used a nice orange scrub on our legs, a massage with oil and hot stones. The young man that helped me was so nice and very particular. He did an excellent job! So much better than the place down the street that has gotten too big for its britches. Definitely going back! read more

I went to this salon for a pedicure. When I arrived, there was only one person being serviced. I was asked what I needed. I responded a pedicure. She spoke in her native language and then said the person was at lunch. Moments later a young man and a woman came from the back. They were sharing something on both their phones. He then went to the person who was working and then returned to the back. I then saw a third person in the back. I asked if I should come back and the person who was servicing a customer again said something in her language. The young man came from the back and said you can come back because we are eating lunch in a rude tone. As I was leaving, I heard the woman say I told her that she was a lunch. I have been to this salon several times before and had not experienced such poor customer service. Why were 4 people on site but only one person was working. I won't be returning. read more

I would give it 0, but I cant. I asked for them to use a hand file on my natural nail n she could use the drill on the acrylic, but they said they couldn't because the nails pop off in a week. I was a nail tech in Cali, so I know the proper way to apply a set so I know their just being lazy. Never coming here again. Yes Quincy is good and so is Kim. However, I walked in one day after making an appointment and after sitting for 15 minutes while Kim worked on someone else, I was totally ignored. I finally walked up and I asked how long would it be before she could get to me. She said 45 minutes. Whats the point in making an appointment. I found another nail shop because if my business or my time dont mean anything to you there are plenty of other nail shops who it will! I really enjoyed coming here to get my nails done, however, after this last visit, I will not be returning back. I went to get one nail fixed and it took 1 1/2 hours to get fixed and the process to fix my nail took 10 mins. I understand they were busy but I felt ignored waiting as they did not provide a wait time or apologize for the wait. Once the guy finished my nail, he said he was finished and loudly said for me to go home. Also, while I was there, a lady came in and was not acknowledged by staff despite everyone in the shop saw her walk in. It took staff at least two to three minutes to address her. After having services done by Jane at Sky Nails, I returned for a second visit. Not only did Jane insult me by virtually telling me I could paint my own nails--AFTER I complimented her by requesting her services personally--she further told me she was too busy to help me. However, after completing her current client, her chair sat empty. When I approached her regarding her behaviour, she replied my 'regulars are here!' I'm not quite sure what that was supposed to mean--ALL customers have the potential to become regulars. Furthermore, in a good salon, no matter a regular or not--servicing EACH customer is the goal. Jane's unacceptable response was that she "would not say that again if I did not want her to ..." Unbelievable. She also claimed she "was only playing." Sky nails is noted for great nail service, but beware of Jane, who's only interested in those she 'deems' as worthy of satisfactory customer service. Yet she accepts EVERYONE'S ... money. Go to SET Nails down the street, where you'll enjoy GREAT nail service AND customer service. read more

They do not honor appointment times. Had an appointment with Kim and waited 40 minutes although I was the first person she had on the book. She was also unapologetic and even defensive about not valuing my time. Acted like she was doing me a free favor. No point in making an appointment. Walk-in in and keep your fingers crossed or find somewhere else where they value customers. read more
