Wow, this business doesn't want to do business. Count me out forever doing business with this nail salon. Called and asked to buy a gift card over the phone for sissy. They wouldn't sell me a gift card over the phone. I explained that I live in WA state and wanted to set up a day for her to be pampered. They had no suggestions or solutions. What a terrible business I can't imagine they will stay open very long if they're not trying to make sales happen why not offer to book the appointment for her and I would send money money with my sister. Customer beware!! After checking many reviews for cleanliness I cautiously visited. This is what I found. An older gentleman did my mani/pedi and the tools had previously been used. Notice the Emory board and sanding block. This was before it was used on me. I have no way of knowing if the metal tools were cleaned or not. I wish I had walked out instead of just taking pictures. I have since checked and found that used nail files are illegal in Virginia. Make sure to do your own evaluations of the equipment before you allow them to use it on you! read more

I used to go here years ago and had to take a break because my job didn't allow polish of any sort... staff is friendly, I don't really like talking while I'm getting a manicure or pedicure (like to just relax and do my own thing) the gentleman that did my nails did not say hardly one word to me while he did my nails! The communication was fantastic as well, asking me if I needed any other services and continuously making sure I was happy with my nails as they went through the process. I got a fill in and an eyebrow wax and they made everything quick and painless. I was in and out in 30 minutes. I was recommended this place by a coworker and I'm so glad I took her advice. I was looking for a nail place closer to where I live and stumbled upon this place while driving home from the gym. It had good reviews so I decided to try it out. The owner did my pedicure and he was super thorough and very friendly. They have nice massage chairs while you're sitting and they clean the pedicure sinks out after each use. They are also covered in plastic so I felt good about the hygienic aspect of the place. The prices were comparable to what I normally paid and they had a TON of polish options. Came here over the weekend for an acrylic soak off. I had just come back from vacation and due to my occupation we can't have nails x amount of length and whatnot. I was seated quickly which was much appreciated, and was priced reasonably for the soak. But that was about it. The young lady assisting me off the bat bruised and cut my L index finger open with the electric nail machine (is it a buffer?)...it was so painful that I flinched, but no apologies or anything coming from her. She just proceeded to lower what I assume is the setting and continued on. The soak stung my cut and that was when she asked me, "are you ok." I mean.... ....... ..... The next thing I noticed was that the employees move from hand to hand, feet to feet, hand to feet, feet to hand, etc... of different patrons WITHOUT first washing their hands. I witnessed my lady move from some lady's feet for a pedicure, then to another lady's hands, then to my hands. Jesus, please at least hand sanitize with the gel. I felt so disgusted... and then at the end after everything was buffed out, I felt like I still had residue. Disappointing service...would not come back. read more

I went in for an eyebrow waxing and i unfortunately left not satisfied. She made them much thinner then needed to be, blaming the difference in shape, but I think it was lack of knowledge with thicker brows. I will now have to grow my eyebrows out in hopes they can fill back in. The woman was nice though, hence the 2nd star. read more

I went for a simple full set with almond shape. i have NEVER had such lopsided nails in all of my life. it took an hour just to get to the nail polish and they're lopsided and bubbly. Would not recommend for acrylic nails. read more

I recently moved to Chesterfield and was looking for a good nail salon nearby. Based on other Yelp reviews, I ended up at Deluxe Nails. The staff was friendly but the manicure and pedicure was just mediocre. The pedicure was over in 15 minutes and I had to have her correct the filing on my big toe twice because it was slanted and crooked. My gel manicure was equally unimpressive. The color was applied uneven, leaving splotches and my nails are not smooth from where too much color was applied at the tips and pooled up. 2 of the 3 stars are simply for the nice staff but the overall services were a complete miss. I will stick with my go to place back on the West End. read more

I liked the decorations in the shop and it looked clean unlike some of the tools they use. The price range was good it is what you would normally expect to pay for pedicure. I received my pedicure form an older gentleman he seem nice but he hardly gave my feet time to soak. Then he started to cough on my foot multipule times so gross. He did not do any scraping to remove the dead skin off my feet. Later, a young lady came over to do a design on my toe never asking me what kind of design I wanted or colors. Poor customer service, I was a regular at this shop but had a few experiences where the owner was rude and short so I decided to change shops. I went here on a Sunday ( because our shop is closed Sundays) to take my sister to have her nails done came in, greeted everyone pleasantly and while explaining the issue with a nail the owner looked at the nail and rudely said "what you want me to do with that" now I remember why I switched shops. The place was busy, so we had about an hour wait - but it was worth it. She was absolutely thrilled with her results, and I was pretty darn pleased with the pedicure I got - including the hot stone leg massage.
