I've been here many times since 2019. I've moved around within the Chesterfield-Short Pump Area and this is still the only nail salon I enjoy going to. Do not go here if you want chrome nails or a decent manicure. The first nail tech did not even put a top coat on before the chrome application and they were bumpy and uneven. When I questioned the application I was told it was because I didn't show them the picture I was using?!? A second tech tried to fix it, but it was so rushed, barely cured, and I still ended up with these because "my nails are too short for chrome." I've been getting chrome on my nails for years and never had an issue. Chrome should give shine, not sparkles, and they should educate their team on proper application. I gave them two stars since I had been looking for a salon with a large opi gel collection, and they do deliver there. It's also very pretty and clean inside. My sister told me this was the nail spot to go to in area, and she was right!! The hospitality and service was impeccable. I received a manicure and pedicure and both turned out amazing and are still look like they were just done. For the pedicure treatment, I chose the pomegranate package which includes a hot towel that they place around your shoulders in addition to the standard treatment. I haven't been to a nail salon that's included a hot towel so I thought it was a nice touch. Pedicure 10/10. For my gel manicure, this was the first nail tech that executed a design I asked for flawlessly! She was quick, precise, and implemented any changes I asked for. Manicure 10/10. Please do yourself a favor and don't go here. Customer service is non-existent. The pricing is also inconsistent. They will repeatedly upsell you as if the lights are going to be turned off if you don't. This is a very pretty looking salon, but there is always a ton of hair on the floor. The nail techs are rushing through the service at a very noticeable rate. If you have a problem they will ignore or even belittle you. I'm not one to leave bad reviews as I am a business owner myself, but this place has gone way down. The pricing is all over the place, and the attitudes of some of the nail techs is so nasty - makes you wonder why they are in a service industry. High powered drills on delicate cuticles, scrapes and cuts without an apology or concern and just plain old rude. Second visit and can't say enough. You walk in and it feels opulent even though it's in a strip mall. Beautiful chandeliers, marble floors. Everything is new and fresh and clean. I've been going here for two years. Not a sure what happened but if I wrote this review when I first started coming here it would be 5 stars. It's actually a bit depressing. Anyway, my friend and I were reliable customers we always came back. We were so consistent that many of the nail techs knew us by name and if one of us were late meeting up they would ask "where is your friend?" Something happened in the last year, not sure what but the quality of the work became poor. Once we waited almost two hours on a non busy day. We were ignored when we asked why we were skipped twice. It was terrible. I hate it when I find a great place and this happens because I'm one of those ppl who stay loyal to one place. Well now we are no longer customers. I will start off that the 2 gals that did our spa day were amazing, kind and took their time. Lisa and Kim. This was my second time at this place having been about 2 months prior with my sister for pedicures. We did upgraded pedicures then and it was a great experience. Fast forward to my recent visit with my 16yr old granddaughter. We went for pedicures and manicure and full set of acrylic for granddaughter. When we got there, without appointments I knew we were going to have to wait, which was fine cause we were not in a rush. It was busy and they had us pick out a color and put us in chairs. About 35mins later they filled up our tubs brought my gd a heated neck wrap and then they started my granddaughter first, I waited long enough the water in my foot tub started cooling off. Then they couldn't figure out who was going to do me. It had slowed down considerably by the time they started on me. Had one lady start on my manicure and no one was working on my pedicure. One girl was going to start but was fussed at and was told no. The girl working on my manicure was told apparently the other lady across from me was waiting on manicure first. It was kinda crazy. Never got a neck pillow until I had to ask for it about 1/2 thru my pedi. The nice lady doing my manicure ended up doing my pedicure also. My granddaughter got a full set of basic acrylic nails and apparently the polish she picked out was a Gel polish. It was very confusing on polish, I just settled for a clear polish to elevate any more craziness. I tipped my girl and both gals that worked on granddaughter and went to pay. It was almost $200. Which I didn't really do the math until later that night. I called the next day asking what acrylic with gel polish was and she said $65 . I said your menu said $35 and up, so the gel cost 30 additional? Plus it says full set dip. She didn't have dip. She said it depends on how long the nails were. I am amazed that I can get basic full set at other salons for like $35 no upcharge on polish choice. The whole experience was the opposite of what I had experienced before. I will not be going back cause the ring up was completely overpriced and I still believe I was over charged. Two upcharge pedis a basic mani and one set should not have cost me $195.00 plus $45 in tips and mass confusion getting my services done having me soak my feet for 35mins and having to refill my tub cause the water was cooled off and no neck pillow. Overpriced and not spa like experience I had previously. 2 stars cause the 2 gals working on us were wonderful. read more

So I'm very sad to give this review. I thought about giving one star, but considering I have been here MANY times I wanted to add in the extra star. SAYING THAT, I have had this same issue 2x, and considering I pay between $45-$55 on my nails each time, this should not be an issue for an established salon. So I get a Powdered Set every visit with tips added. I got my nails done July 3rd for an event that night (probably around 12) and before I had made it to the event 1 tip had completely broken off to my nail. The next day, the 4th, I drove up to the salon to get my nail fixed but they were closed. That night another nail tip broke off. I drove to the salon again the next morning, and they fixed the two nails free of charge. By Sunday another nail tip broke off (different finger from the first two). It is now July 12th, and I have had 4 additional nail tips completely separate from my nail. So let's keep count, that is now 6 nail tips that have completely broken off at the nail line (but two were fixed). I keep nail glue at home, and to keep myself from looking completely raggity I have attempted to glue each of the nails back on. Like I said earlier in the post this is not the first time this has happened, it was just not as severe the other 2x. I will post pictures, so everyone can see what I mean, but I'm really considering looking for a new nail place. I literally threw $55 +tip in the drain. read more

Came in for a gel shellac polish change and the lady at the front desk told me it was going to be cheaper because I wasn't going to get the manicure with it and she spoke to the guy who was going to do my nails what I was getting done. When he sat me down, he started filing my nails - didn't ask me how I wanted them shaped and did it how he wanted. The whole time he rushed on them and once he finished, ask for my card. I noticed he charged me for full price for a gel shellac manicure. I don't mind paying for something that I got done but he charge me for something I didn't. $30+ for him to just file my nails and polish?! What a rip off! This was the very first nail spa that I went to when I moved to the area several years ago and it has consistently been one of the best. The customer service is excellent and even when busy, they are able to help pretty quickly. I have always had a great experience and my nails always turn out beautiful. They have a lot of great options for pedicures for times when you need something basic to times when you want to treat yourself. The massage chairs are nice and everything is always very clean. I'm so disappointed in my experience here. I took my daughter in for her birthday, and ended up spending over $100 dollars just for her and I to both get basic pedicures and manicures, except I got a gel manicure. The "massage" is non existent. It's basically just rubbing the lotion around, with no pressure at all. My daughter said the same, I can do that at home thanks. My manicure was extremely awkward, and was performed in complete silence. At the end, the technician slapped some lotion and oil on my arm and rubbed it in, rather aggressively. Nothing close to even resembling a massage, and in the end I still had quite a bit of oil on my hands that needed to be rubbed in so I wouldn't stain my clothes. I'll just finish my own "massage", but thanks anyway? My daughters nails had all completely smudged and chipped (after even being under the uv lights) less than 4 hours later. So I decide to go in, show proof of the results, and ask for a refund for her portion only. $30. Well that was a nightmare! I was told I was being unfair, that she couldn't refund me because I cost them money by using their water and plastic liners ( pretty sure that's just the cost of doing business) and refused to give me a full refund for my daughters services. It took me 30 minutes of insisting, completely calm and polite and very respectfully, that she wasn't not being honest or treating her customers fairly, for her to decide that she could offer me $20 and that was it. She tried telling me she couldn't look me up because her systems are cleared, that now she has to deduct that from her employees pay, that she has no way of looking me up in her systems to even refund me because she doesn't have that technology. Except guess what? As soon as we came to an agreement, she asked for the date and time, goes in, looks me up in about 2 minutes, clicks a button and refunds me. Listen, I own a small business. I get that's it's hard to take a loss at times and it hurts to refund people. But that's just the cost of doing business, and I have honestly never been treated so poorly by another company in my life. Save your money for a nail salon that offers better quality at a much better price too. read more

I came for a pedicure and had an event that night so I asked if I could add on lower leg and bikini wax- which was on their service menu. I should have known by what a long and confusing time the staff had figuring out who was going to help me with this that it was a bad idea. They completely burned my bikini area (thank god I didn't get a Brazilian...) and towards the end I realized she was double dipping the wooden spoon used for wax application into the communal wax container. I decided on the Milk and Honey pedicure and let me tell you... it was amazing! Their list of services can be kind of confusing because they do so much. I didn't realize that my service came with so many things! Everything that came with the Organic Dream pedicure, came with the Milk and Honey one. The hot stone massage was my favorite part! I usually love this place, however I came in for the nexgen nails today and was completely disappointed. Definitely not worth $35.00 and the woman was incredibly rude. First, she did a terrible job with my nails, not even cleaning them up before applying the color. Then, she told me that my nails were too short, and that I shouldn't come back again until they were longer. All she really did was apply the color, and that was it. No filing, cleaning, lotion, etc. I was in and out within 15 minutes. TERRIBLE SERVICE. I will certainly not be back after my experience today. Update: I went back the next day to ask them to fix them. They were incredibly thick and actually hurt. The cuticles were a mess (since they didn't clean them up). I normally go to Pure Nails every 3 weeks for my fill in and pedicure but my favorite nail tech is out of the shop for a few weeks. I decided to venture out of my normal routine and try a new nail salon. After reading all the great reviews for Grand Nail Spa I decided to give them try since they were not far from my house. Wow! I am so glad I decided to try something new. This place is amazing. Now I will say I miss the familiarity and the relationship I have built at Pure but the level of service at Grand Nail Spa is superb. First of all the salon is absolutely beautiful and spotless. Every pedicure station is super sanitary. The foot bowls are wrapped in plastic and cleaned and changed after every use. All utensils used on my pedicure was brand new and fresh out the wrapper. It definitely made me feel extra comfortable knowing their sanitary standards were high. They really take their time when servicing you and want to ensure you are happy with the end result. There is a vast selection of nail polish and shellac colors. They offer complimentary wine, pop or water during your service which was a great plus! There are large TV's throughout the salon and a nice selection of music softly playing while you relax. I got the deluxe pedicure, which came with paraffin wax treatment and hot stones. Penny provided my service and she did a wonderful job. Nick did my nails and I was very pleased with my end result. He may have done my nails better than my beloved Rosie, who is my regular technician at Pure. I will say I paid $10 more than I normally pay at my regular salon but with all the extra amenities I received it seemed fair. Grand Nail Spa is definitely not your regular strip mall nail shop and has a high end feel but worth the extra money. I will definitely come here until Rosie is back in action. read more

I got here at about 4:15pm and asked how long would I be waiting for shellac and a lady said 10 minutes. 4:45pm comes along and I'm still waiting with foil on my fingertips. I asked the lady to take it off because I have a doctors appt to go to at 5:30. She told me to come in the next day at 9am and she will be here to do it. So I'm here and it's almost 10 minutes last 9am and no one is here. There were at least 3 people in front of me waiting on Tuesday. One lady even walked out. I went here with a friend bc she recommended it, but I will never go back. It's been 4 days and my $38 pedicure is cracked, chipped, and bubbling. I've gone somewhere else for YEARS and never had this happen. Additionally, when I asked for a full set of nails with white tips, I had to ask/explain at least 3 times what I wanted before we got to the right thing. The guy then painted over my white tips with pink gel, which isn't what I wanted, so then I had to have 4 nails redone and they replaced the guy with a lady. She did an okay job, but the nails are bubbling around the edges already. I'm really disappointed that $73 later, my toes look like crap and I'll have to have my nails redone next week since they're bubbling. Never again. When we arrived, we were seated in a spa pedicure chair where we sat almost an hour before they filled the bowl to soak our feet. One employee came over and started working on a friend's pedicure while the other two of us waited 15 more minutes before they were able to begin our services. They worked rather quickly and had finished our pedicures within 25 minutes even though we had upgraded our services. When they finished, they walked away without asking us about a manicure. When we asked to get a manicure, the woman gave us a look like it was an inconvenience. They said they didn't have time since they closed in an hour. As we were leaving, a group of women walked in without an appointment and asked for pedicures without any issues. This made me angry since we had an appointment, waited an hour, and could not get a manicure after our pedicures. I will not be back. The service has gone downhill. read more

He immediately started to tell me, that I need a new set. I said NO. Then he started making them shorter, I told him No. Then he opened the powder again I told him that I wanted GEL. Then finally he took gel out. Was not happy with the final result. Through out the service he was telling me what a good job he does. Drill was never cleaned, other tools just came from another table. Wasn't happy. Not clean, didn't do my nails properly. I asked a few times where did he learn and how long he been doing nails.
