I come here like every 2-3 weeks usually & I decided to come here to get a pedicure for my birthday, I asked for a sparkly light pink (the color was called angel pink) AND a black French tip. She got done taking care of my feet, I usually love this place cause they use hot rocks and nice. Onto painting my nails she tried doing a pink French tip, so I stopped her when I noticed & explained to her AGAIN AND showed a reference photo... while she was painting them it looked like she she was only doing a black French tip so I tried explaining AGAIN what I wanted and asked if she was still doing the pink like I asked... she didn't say anything and gave me a dirty look. ((Now I'm someone with terrible anxiety & hate being rude so after that I was just done.)) I ended up paying $50 and leaving, had a panic/anxiety attack as I left. I've been going to Q-Nails for years. Love the new massage chairs. Shop is clean and tools are sterilized.

First visit, last visit!! Walked in wasn't greeted for 10-12 mins, had an appointment they wasn't ready A female came from mirror door, finally helped us.. Tight spaces, I dropped my water and it went everywhere....ugh Getting my pedicure, they use nothing but water to soak and clean your feet. When I asked she said we don't use it because we have the bags in the bowls. I do not understand but I need my feet done....ugh The whirl pool thing used on the foot tub wasn't working right, she swapped it with the next tub that was just being used, I didn't see it get cleaned but she said it was cleaned. Mind you I was sitting here next to the lady while she was getting her service. The tool used on my feet was used to pull up the stopper....yikes Did get a warm stone rub after they rubbed some gel stuff on my legs. She used a dry towel to wipe off the gel stuff. Was not a pleasant feeling. I need another pedicure ASAP. Then the cost was $26 read more

After a WEEK both my shellac manicure AND my pedicure were chipped. I don't mean a couple of small chips - I'm talking my feet look like they weren't even done. I have NEVER had this happen with a pedicure. I did nothing out of the ordinary, no beach, no nothing. This is totally unacceptable. To pay almost $70 for a service and tip and to have it not last a week is ridiculous. As far as my manicure - the whole point of getting the gel is to have it last longer - I don't expect it to chip within 4 days. I am not hard on my hands at all, I work in an office. I hate to rate Q nails so low, when I really think it was one person. The woman doing my nails dug her cutting tool into the side of my toenail until I practically jumped out of the chair and started crying. She kept saying she needed to do it, and eventually I just had to beg her to stop. Then, because I was very visibly upset, she kept telling everyone around me that I had an ingrown nail, and blamed me by saying I had gone too long without a pedicure. I didn't have an ingrown nail, but I certainly will now. Once the swelling went down later in the day, I could clearly see the entire side of my nail cut off. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I just got a basic pedicure, and the lady starts scraping the top of my foot with the pumice stone. I don't get pedicures often so I thought it was part of it, but it started hurting and so I told her to stop. My foot was burning extremely bad from this. Now the next day, my foot is all scratched up, it is painful to shower or apply any pressure or water to it, and I feel horrible. The lady scratched up my foot. I had always loved how kind the people at this establishment were but this week i was beyond upset with the quality of work they did! I went to get my nails fixed FIVES TIMES in one week because the same two nails kept breaking! I get nails break sometimes but five is not my fault its poor quality of work. Decided to check this place out based on other reviews. The shop is clean and you're greeted when u walk in. I was quickly asked what services I wanted. I was told to pick my color and took to the back of the shop where the pedicure spa chairs are located. I enjoyed my foot soak and the tech came over after about 15 minutes. We made small talk, she gently massaged my feet and legs, shaped my toe nails, and polish me toes. It was a plesant experience and I will go back. I thought I should me give her a second chance, so I tried again today (a month later) Never again! See for your self! This is gel on my own nails! My nails were filed too short with the dremel. The gel is too THICK & FILED HORRIBLY. I have been getting my nails done for 18 years. I have never ever had such a terrible job done on my nails. I am a fool because I tipped her. I came in just to get shellac on my nails. Didn't get the full mani just wanted paint. I called about 30 mins prior and asked for Julie (based on other reviews) and got right in. Julie is the owner and she puts a lot of care into French tips. She didn't use acetone to clean up the tips which will hopefully make them last longer. I would recommend this place for sure, the other customers in there at that time were very pleased with their services also. $25 for shellac w/o mani is worth it in my book! read more

I just left this place after vowing not to return in the past. For the prices they charge, their service is inefficient. If you don't have an appt, expect to get a male technician who rushes and lacks finesse. I asked for the dip refill and pointed out that the coloring was inferior because it had white spots in my lavender color and I was brought to tears. My 18 min pedicure was horrible as well as it took for me to point out to the trained technician that my toe nails were not fully painted and I had to ask for him to completely redo it. After being in the nail salon for over 2 hours, I left extremely stressed and disgusted with how little concern is shown to their customers. Go here and you will feel like a number; it is definitely about quantity ($) and not quality. I paid the $60+ tab and made my final exit so proceed with caution. Get what you pay for. read more

I thought I would try this place out on my way home from work. It was a mistake. I had a gentleman who tried to remove my gel polish with his tools rather than letting them soak in acetone. It took me a few minutes to explain to him that I wanted a French manicure, but with gel polish. He kept trying to paint my nails when there was clearly pink nail polish spots leftover from my previous manicure. It took a long time & cost $43. That was $43 for a French manicure that was sloppy. This salon is racist and I will never return. My daughter came to the salon yesterday and had a light color put on her nails. It was not put on correctly because you could still see her skin color under the polish. It looked like there were not enough coats applied. We returned today to get it corrected. The Asian lady/owner at the front of the salon said that my daughter NEEDED to pick a dark nail polish color because of her skin, which is a darker shade. I told her that it shouldn't matter WHAT her skin color is or WHAT nail color she chose- they just needed to put more coats on!! That was a completely racist thing to say in front of my daughter who can't help having a darker complexion and just wanted a nice light color polish for the summer. I let the owner and whole salon know that!! These women who work in nail salons better learn that they just can't casually make racist remarks and get away with it. I have been going to Q Nails for 6 years plus and have gell nails done and pedicures. I read the other reviews here and think they are not right. I currently live about 12 miles from this salon and drive by many others I have tried. Believe me I have seen dirty nail places. If you go in on the prime times without calling ahead you will have to wait behind all of us that go there on a regular basis! The employees are all friendly and I truly enjoy my appointments there. My gell nails look great and I get compliments from my customers all the time. They look very natural and they hold up well even with me working in a paint store 50 hours a week. Also, I have my eyebrows waxed here and I have very sensitive skin and I have NEVER even been red when I leave the salon! As far as tips in cash...if you had ever owned a business then you would know that the bank charges large fees for processing credit and debit cards and why would the shop owner want to pay for you to tip your tech. Lots of salons ask that tips be in cash.I will keep driving the 12 miles and I am thankful that Julie, Kim, Mike and all the rest of them are there to service my nail needs! read more
