I don't know if I'd ever go back or recommend a friend. In less than a week my gel manicure has started to peel off. Isn't gel suppose to last? That's why we pay extra right? The woman who worked on me was Tran I believe. When I was getting my pedicure I sat next to a woman who seemed to be a regular. Her pedicure started before mine and we got the exact same pedicure service but for some reason she started before me and I was done at least 10 minutes before her. It seemed her nail tech was a lot more detailed and into satisfying her client and giving the best service, mine wasn't. I was not impressed with the pedicure nor the paint job. For lack of better words, this place SUCKS. Within the last few years, there has not been a time I've gone into Elegant without having to wait over an hour to be seen. It does not matter if you have an appointment or not or if there is 3 customers in the building. They come up to you to tell you to wait a few more minutes and then don't come back. The last time I was here I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited 2 hours. When I finally got up and left after they started helping people who came in WAY after me, a lady working there said "you don't want to wait?". Which was just an incredible slap in the face. The first issue of had with this salon was when I went to hit the get directions button it took me to the middle of an apartment complex. I had to manually type in the address when I figured out it wasn't there. Clean spa. The only flaw I saw in that was that there was no sanitizing agent in the nail brush while washing my hands so I did not use that. I chose to go to this salon because of its great ratings and close proximity. I wanted an inexpensive pamper myself day. I got a basic mani-pedi with a full set of powder gel nails. Later that night I realized that I still had skin peeling off of my poor heels (both of them) and that my gel nails were bulbous and not shaved down enough. My biggest complaint is not necessarily with the salon (unless they are able to choose their price rating) but with Yelp. This is not a $ salon but a $$ at least. After a 10% tip my trip cost me $98. Hardly an inexpensive choice. read more

I paid quite a bit of money for a manicure prior to my wedding in TN. Went on Thursday, by monday i had to have a salon in TN repair all of these. I married wednesday and returned home on sunday. Elegant was closed on sunday so i called monday to explain i paid alot of money for this manicure and ended up having all of these repaired. This is ridiculous. She said come in so when i went in, she said she i will do nails all over again but was charging me for a fill because i would need one anyway. Huh? If you are redoing my nails, why would i need a fill. The salon in TN said that was the worst looming manicure she has seen. They were all cracked and for me to be careful because they could easily break. Why not just redo my nails? Lady at elegant said "well people dont really take care of their nails"was the reason they broke. Huh? I was literally on vacation prepping for my wedding. I will NEVER go back to elegant again. Money hungry, disrespectful, business that i have ever dealt with. They did a poor job and i will see to it that all of my family and friends who go there, will find another salon. Sad!!!! read more

Today was my first time at elegant nails, and I am very impressed! It has a very relaxing atmosphere, and the decor was up to date and fresh looking. I got the most expensive pedicure they offer and LOVED IT!!! All the tools were clean, they use liners for the pedicure basin, and trash many items after it's use on you. I've been a loyal customer since the opening of the shop. I'd prefer to give a one star because it only takes one really bad experience to ruin an experience but I don't think it's fair to rate them so low. The salon is very clean and provides a spa experience that is different from the rest of the area. The staff welcome you in and try their best to accommodate walk ins even when they are swamped with people. I find the best times to go in are after 1pm but before 4pm. Odd hours I know but if you don't have an appt you will be waiting any other time. Justin is amazing at everything he touches. So my bad experience comes from one technician in particular. I don't know her name but she sits in the back corner by the sinks. I've dealt with her at Classy Nails before and I always pray she isn't the next available technician because she is absolutely terrible at all services provided and she's not gentle even when requested to take it easy. I came in one day to have shellac removed and re-done as well as receiving a pedicure. As I was getting my feet done she wanted to start the removal process of my shellac and had me in a very uncomfortable position the entire time. After about 10minutes..she began my manicure and was very rough with cutting my cuticles..so much that the tip of the cuticle cutter dug into my nail bed and hurt like hell that I cursed in anger. At that moment I was ready for her to stop but she apologized and wanted to finish. She was much careful afterwards but things shortly got ugly after my pedicure was completed. She painted the shellac on my nails like a 5 year old and it was all a mess. Every nail she completed I had to ask her to clean it. I guess she had enough and decided to tell me that Justin (the great nail tech) is the best in the shop and next time maybe I should make an appt with him. I grew upset because she wouldn't shut up and she was making the situation worse. She then decided to tell me that Justin says I'm difficult because of my nail beds. I was ready to slap her from her seat over to CVS but I remained calm. She finished the job and my nails looked terrible. That evening I went home and a nail started to chip instantly and I hadn't done any hand labor to cause chipping. I called to have the nail fixed and was advised I needed to come after 6pm but I couldn't make this ridiculous time because I only work in the area and I don't live here. Needless to say this one terrible experience has caused me to never go back into this establishment again. I miss Justin dearly but I can't return after the treatment I received and management did nothing to rectify the poor service. Elegant Nails should go ahead and get rid of her because she will continue to drag the brand down and customers will stop coming in. Word of mouth is great than anything. read more

I went here for the first time (pedicure) on March 11th, I have ingrown toenails and arthritis in my back, so doing my own pedicures is impossible. But, I do need a good nail tech to work on my feet. I used to go across the street and that tech did a good job, but she isn't working anymore due to family problems. My better half recommended the nail place across the street but it isn't this place It's a problem for me when the nail tech doesn't speak English because of my condition. If they do a bad job, then I know about three days later because the spurs start hurting. This gal did a half assed job at trimming my nails to start and didn't spend enough time filing them to make them right. Then she talked me into the deluxe pedicure and burnt my legs with the hot stones. As she was finishing the final trim, I told her that my ingrown nails were still bothering me and she worked a little more. Within three days, they started to bother me again. For a $50, plus tip pedicure and to not have it right is a big problem. Now with the COVID-19 thing, I don't know what I will do! Terrible place, terrible service, go someplace else! read more

This is by far the worse nail salon I have been to. First I specifically requested that my mail had a slight curve and were slightly coffin shaped. After they were all out on a shaped I advised that they had no curve and was then told it was because of my nail bed. But if course it was conveniently too late to discontinue service without soaking then all off. Then I was charged $55 and given a million unreasonable answers as to why. After which the tech was upset because I didn't give him a tip. Not to mention that now less then a week later I have had 3 nails brake. # 1 I didn't feel or know was broke on, # 2 broke when I touched the arm of my couch, and # 3 broke turning the water. Fingers were bleeding. Was asked to pay while drying nails. Really? Could tell nail polish was thick hours later anytime I touched the polish was trying to come off.
