When I questioned the application I was told it was because I didn't show them the picture I was using?!? A second tech tried to fix it, but it was so rushed, barely cured, and I still ended up with these because "my nails are too short for chrome." I've been getting chrome on my nails for years and never had an issue. Chrome should give shine, not sparkles, and they should educate their team on proper application. I gave them two stars since I had been looking for a salon with a large opi gel collection, and they do deliver there. It's also very pretty and clean inside. Unfortunately I'll have to keep looking since I get chrome often.

After starting the basic pedicures that we asked for, they proceeded to recommend a more expensive pedicure. We agreed to that. However, when it came time to paint our nails, they asked if we wanted gel, even though we had already picked out our colors. They did not inform us that it would be $17 per person to get gel. Even though my daughter asked the woman if it would be extra and she said no. We were upset upon leaving because we were charged $51 more than we expected. We did not feel that it was clearly communicated that the gel was an up charge. We asked to speak to a manager and they told us the manager was not there. The people working there also tried to blame it on us that we should have asked. We will not be devoting our time or our money to this place because of our experience.

Val absolutely nailed it (see what I did there?) when it came to the design and shape. Kirei Neiru is located inside of Phenix Salon Suites. When you walk in, you will immediately see a map of suite locations. She is not far at all from the main entrance, very easy to locate. Her studio is clean, neat, cutely decorated and ODORLESS! She showcases a lot of her work which you can choose from. The designs were endless, I found so many I loved. Her pricing is transparent from the services offered down to the tiered pricing of her extensive list of nail art. As of my review today, she has been soft opened for about 3 weeks. Her grand opening is soon and she is running specials! I did the Gel-X which I believe she may be the only person in the area that offers that service. So much better than acrylic, dip, etc. She will answer any and all questions you have. I am a very inquisitive person and she walked me through of the design as she went which I would have never known what they were called, how they are applied and more. You can tell that she loves what she does and it's not "just a job". I did not feel rushed at all. At the end of your service, you are asked to write your name and date which she will place and seal the items that she used with you such as the drill bits, nail file, etc until your next visit. Valorie is also very fun to talk to! You will be impressed with the space and her talent. I am already looking forward to my next appointment with her.
