Crueller donuts

Red and Mia are awesome! They hooked me up with the rest of crueller donuts for a good price and most places don't carry them!!! I will definitely go back for more because they were soft and delicious!

I've been coming here for 12+ years and although the price and gone up slightly the quality and taste has stayed the same. Their donut holes are unmatched.

What are these!?! Why did they even sell such horrible donuts? Not only do they look ugly, but they tasted terrible.
Ricky S.

Donuts were undercooked and everyone of them were "flat" - see the pictures, which were taken just a couple of hours after purchasing. Each bite was not good, it had a weird soggy taste. My immediate thoughts after opening the box were: 1) the owner messed up this batch and sold it anyway. If that's true, it's a terrible business model. They should have tossed and start over instead of selling such a bad batch. 2) this is how they make and sell their donuts. If this is true, I can't imagine anyone who would want to eat these? Overall, it was my first time trying this place. Its sad they'd sell such bad batches. I'd normally give a place a second chance, but this was the worst so I won't be back. There are too many better options to purchase from.

Staff is friendly, donuts and drinks are good, chill vibes, plaza parking, prices are reasonable.

Fresh Croissant Sandwiches

A small cozy donut shop that's serves a variety of Sandwiches, Boba Drinks, Coffee, Ice Cream and more. Cigarettes and Scratchers are sold here as well. I came a couple hours before closing and they seemed pretty busy. A handful of men were chatting and and playing the Scratchers/lottos numbers. They was a small wait for the man running the store was quite busy. The only downside was how warm it was inside. Perhaps the air conditioning was not working at the time. There is a surcharge for those who spend less than 10 dollars and decide to use a debit card.

It supposed to be a rostered beef not a lettuce sandwich.

I ordered 2 different sandwiches and they gave me two of the the same. It supposed to be a pastrami sandwich and a roasted beef sandwich but I fell like I ordered a lettuce sandwich.

Mom and pop donut shop. Came here to get some donuts to bring for my coworkers plus breakfast. I recommend the bacon egg and cheese croissant sandwich with avocado. Also the donut holes are soft and delicious. Easy to share. Not oily and tastes fresh. Customer service was on point. Please support them! The lady was very sweet and they make sure to take care of you when you walk in.

Donuts! Coffee's buddy. This place has one of my favorite type of donuts....The Cruellers. A moist & doughy donut. A unique texture when you bite into it. You can get different glazes on it. Chocolate, Strawberry, Orange, White (not sure what flavor) & plain. I like them all. Of course there's bars, twists, old fashioned, sprinkles, glazed, chocolate dipped, & filled. 1 Dz for $8.99 extra if you wanted croissants, Bear Claws, or Apple Fritters. Besides donuts, you can order sandwiches or croissant sandwiches. Ice cream, drinks like Boba & Smoothies. They also sell Lottery, Scratchers, candies. Family owned & ran. Parking is ample. Come early for the best pick in donuts. The Cruellers sells out pretty fast! Cash Only!

I love the boba drinks here, $2 for a 16oz sized flavored boba, $1.50 for a milk tea! The boba itself is not too bad, a little soft but not terrible. Haven't had a doughnut here but they look good, they also sell croissant/bagel sandwiches and éclairs too.

Healthy options.

This Donut shop is my happy stop for delicious sweet treats & yummy sandwiches. Customer service is awesome. Always smiling. Good prices with good quality food. Following all the food safety rule & have an A rating. Try their raisin donut. One of the best. Their tuna croissant is very fresh & wonderful. I cant help myself of coming here everyday from work to enjoy the delicious options. Good job Lucy & Pink. ;)

Passion fruit boba

Was in the area and wanted some boba. I walked in, it was kinda dark with one girl working behind the counter. I ordered the passion fruit slush with boba. Flavor was perfect, the boba were mushy. The price was fair.... But I might try somewhere else next time.

Finally tried a coffee flight at Yihui Coffee! I chose the Panama coffee flight because I wanted to…read moretry something new! I've already experienced Colombian and Ethiopian coffee, so I was curious to see how Panama coffee would compare. The flight comes with an Americano, a milk beverage, and Ember, a coffee inspired cocktail. You try them in that order, and each one brings something different to the table. The Americano was the strongest, but I wasn't a fan of the coffee bean itself. The milk beverage, on the other hand, was SO good! The milk and coffee balanced each other beautifully, giving it a smooth flavour that was neither too sweet nor too bitter. Last was Ember, made with espresso, ginger, and dark chocolate. I was nervous about this one, but everything blended surprisingly well! I couldn't really taste the espresso, the ginger wasn't overpowering, and the drink was incredibly refreshing. I'm torn between the milk beverage and the cocktail because they're both great for different reasons, depending on your mood. I also tried the egg and tomato croissant, which I'd give a 5/10. The flavours just didn't work together for me. On a previous visit, I tried the pumpkin spice foam hojicha. It was my first time trying hojicha, and honestly, it tasted like green tea with milk that had been steeping a little too long I definitely prefer matcha, but at least now I know! Overall, the Panama flight was a fun way to try something new, and I'd recommend it if you enjoy exploring different coffee experiences.

The Americano was also really good, not so sour like most and if all americanos were like that I'd drink Americano much more. Latte was just a latte unfortunately. The donut was slightly of putting because of savory taste of the donut but really tart grapefruit filling

I was debating between that and the Mexican sidecar but the barista kindly informed me that the latter was on the sweeter side, so she preferred the Spanish since it was less sweet. I opted for that drink for the same reason and she was right. I also tried the Biscoff latte and I don't know if the syrup is house-made, but it was also good with the right amount of sweetness. It's very cool that they roast their beans in-house, and although I'm no coffee connoisseur, I thought the quality of the espresso was great. The only thing is that all the syrup sat at the bottom, so be sure to mix it in well. There's no indoor seating but plenty of outdoor seating on the turf to sit and relax.

It's not overly sweet, so you can actually taste the flavor, which I love. The matcha is also really good. I actually prefer it over their neighbor who "specializes" in it. Service was friendly, though I did notice it seemed like a new crew. The manager used to always be there, and the previous staff was a bit more chatty, which made the wait feel quicker. This time the energy was a little more low key, but still perfectly fine service overall.

Right next door, find Uncle Fung Coffee Stall, his daughter's tribute to her Indonesian roots. Here, relax in the retro-modern space and enjoy coffee and tea with an Indonesian flair. The vibe feels timeless. The paint-speckled brick walls and polished tiled floors starkly contrast the heirloom porcelain and framed Indonesian memorabilia. Small square tables and metal chairs are crammed into the narrow space. Close to opening, seats are plentiful, and serene pop blends with the espresso machine; later in the morning, the air is filled with chatter, and the queue stretches to the door. Of the drinks, our go-to has been The Putu, a pandan-forward latte that isn't too sweet. But don't sleep on the Indonesian pastries. I particularly enjoyed the Dadar Gulung, a vibrant green pandan crepe filled with sweet coconut. The scarlet, tortoise-shaped Angku Kueh is stuffed with an addictive mung bean filling. The Talan Ubi sweet potato-and-coconut treats tasted like fall. The Kueh Lupis, a sticky rice triangle with a side of palm sugar syrup, sports a spot-on Q texture, but is one-dimensional in flavor. Service is friendly and efficient. Pastries cost about ~$3-5, while specialty beverages run in the $7-8 range. The location is stellar (just steps away from the Alhambra Farmers Market), and the coffeehouse fare is uniquely crave-worthy. In all, Uncle Fung is a key member of Alhambra's specialty coffee scene, and it cracks my regular rotation.

The coffee shop is very spacious with lots of seating and there's something interesting to look at every corner. There was a short line when we arrived but it moved pretty quickly. The servers were very friendly, warm and efficient at their job. You see a fun selection of Indonesian / Malaysian desserts as you get to the counter, and their drink options are unique and plentiful. We tried two of their artisanal kopi, Kopi Susu and The Putu and tried the Putu Ayu dessert. The drinks were absolutely incredible! The flavour combination and sweetness level of The Putu was perfect. I love that the bold delicious espresso came through, it wasn't overpowered by the sugar, pandan flavour or coconut cream. The drink wasn't too heavy or creamy, it was just so well balanced it left me wanting more! The Putu Ayu however was just alright. The cake flavours were fine, but it was just a bit dry for my taste. Highly recommend coming by to check this place out! Knowing how good their coffee is, I really want to come back for a pour over. Thanks for a great time!
