The food was good tonight!! I had a Petite Sirloin cooked medium rare and it was cooked to perfection. The service was great too. I never had to look around for the wait staff. Our server was Alxsa and she was on the spot for everything. My husband never had to ask for a refill on his drink, and they very politely informed us that they were closing down and the ice cream machine would be up for a little bit longer if we wanted seconds or third's! I even took my leftovers home because it was that good!! read more

Great food and great Service thank you Alxsa for the great service can't wait to come again.

Best customer service ever, My last 5 trips to sizzler's have been phenomenal and always with the same server Alexa!!! She is very attentive to my family and I very respectful and very nice she makes my sizzlers trips amazing. The food is great taste delicious, as soon as you step foot into this place it smells good. I recommend this place to anybody. Will definitely be asking for Alexa when celebrating my 85th birthday here! Lol read more

Post-Covid, this place is pretty awful. My husband and I came here today for lunch and both got the salad bar. $42 freaking dollars for a crappy salad bar. The things they used to have that were good aren't there anymore. Instead of chicken wings, they have nasty little chicken nuggets that looked like they came out of the freezer. No more Mac and cheese, no more pork for the tacos. Even the salad tasted like crap. Definitely won't be back anytime soon read more

This is the first time after they opened the salad bar I took my mom and dad there and we loved it , Irene helped us and she was so nice and smiling , my mom and dad always love to eat there and they love it when someone like Irene is there to help them and to check on them and make sure they are happy with everything. Thanks Irene . read more

Well, I usually enjoy all of my meal. Seems kinda like the quality of steak is declining. I also get upset when there isn't any fresh or more of the salad bars fried chicken! Kinda short on staff. Our poor server was having to handle most of all the other patrons too. I used to really like Sizzler, but my fondness of them is definitely starting to wane. Thank you for your response. I WANT to love SIZZLER again!! read more

Celebrating my mother-in-law's birthday. They love eating here. Our server, Mayra, was attentive and made sure we were all satisfied with our meals. We understand that most places are short-staffed but she really took care of us and the rest of her tables. Gabby is also a fabulous server. It was so nice to be able to get out and eat our meal at the restaurant rather to take it home. Thank you! read more

I was traveling to Fresno for work. As I drove through this gray and dreary land, the highway is filled with what seems like the country's long discarded 1990's Honda Civics and 2000's Ford Mustangs. All of whom insist on staying in the fast lane, doing 45mph. I'm not certain if this is the onset of road rage, or if I'm just hangry. While navigating through this desolate area, I see this single beacon of light... this last vestige of hope. I call out to that beacon, and it compels me to abruptly remove myself from the highway of decades lost vehicles. That bright beacon filled with radiant heavenly light? The Sizzler sign!! Oh what a sight! In my area, all the Sizzlers have closed over the last few decades. I enter the establishment. It is super clean, and super inviting. There was a bit of a line, so the General Manager, Yolanda, jumped into action and opened up a register. She was well versed in all of their specials, including their new one-time salad bowl. I placed my order. Yolanda came out to see how I was doing, and asked about my day, and gave me status updates on the progress of my order. She was friendly and was definitely on top of her game. She ran that restaurant well!! My meal came. I had ordered the Rib-eye, lobster tail and a baked potato. They were perfectly done. The waitress even asked me to cut into it to ensure the steak was cooked to my liking, medium. It was. My rib-eye was tender and tasty. It was seasoned well and required no steak sauce at all, it was delicious. The lobster tail was delicious with the melted garlic butter drizzled over the top of it. My drink was refilled before it ever emptied and OMG the cheesy toast, is there anything more delicious than Sizzler's cheesy toast?? God, I missed their cheesy toast!! Conversely, a few nights later, my employer treated us to another chain that rhymes with Jahoe Toes. I ordered the same sized rib-eye which cost almost double the price. That had no flavor and was just lousy. While eating that rib-eye, all I could think of was the warm, juicy Sizzler rib-eye. It was seducing me, so much that I couldn't even look at Jahoe Toe's rib-eye in the eyes. I felt ashamed that I was eating one steak, yet all I could think about was that gorgeous Sizzler steak... oh, how I wanted that steak in my mouth... just to stuff it in my face and let the juices slide down the back of my throat...mmmmmhhmmm. Seriously, I really hope that one day Sizzler reopens in my county and I hope it's run even 1/2 as good as this one is. It's a 2.5 hour drive from me, but I'm almost ready to make that drive again! read more

The service was excellent and can we talk about how well cooked my steak was the environment was welcoming :)

Great service and great food all in one. Yadira was our server of the day and she was very attentive and very polite and helpful .

Went with my wife yesterday to have a nice dinner about 7 o'clock standing in line for at least 20 minutes just to pay and order our food one lady is taking orders and she's feeding the people because they're shorthanded finally got to our table or table was all sticky They brought to our table or cheese toast which was ice cold my wife said can I have one that's heated up I have been to many many locations and Turlock is the worst one I've been to I will not be returning to Turlock I guess I will go and eat in Modesto where I live I thought I'd give Turlock a try so sad Since there is used to be a great Russian to go to but I guess things are changing read more

The salad bar is open & gloves are provided. I was very pleased to see the gloves & I want to support restaurants as much as I can. However, the staff doesn't let you know about the gloves nor do they enforce them. Yesterday I was waiting to get an item from the salad bar behind a woman who wasn't wearing the gloves. She reached into the tub of chicken nuggets & grabbed a chicken nugget with her bare hand & proceeded to eat it right there! I walked away & lost my appetite. The service wasn't the best. They no longer provide a baked potato with the salad bar but the price is high. Instead of chicken wings there's chicken nuggets. Instead of carnitas there's mini corn dogs. Great items for a children's salad bar. This wasn't a good experience. I hope Sizzler starts enforcing the gloves because I'd really hate to see them close over people who just don't care about others. read more

We used to love coming to this restaurant. The entire family enjoyed it. It was nice, clean, and the food was worth the value. But now for some reason, this restaurant has definitely gone downhill. For three people to eat, with sodas to drink, it was $92. I don't mind paying good money for good food, but this food was subpar. Everything was lukewarm, and didn't taste like it used to. The clam chowder was barely warm, and the ribs were nothing but fat and grease. The restaurant was not busy, so there was no rush to get the food out, and no excuse for it to taste that bad. The restaurant was clean, our waitress was very nice and polite, but the quality of food is no longer there. Especially for $92 for three plates of food. Save your money and barbecue at home. read more

Came for lunch buffet not satisfied at all. Workers are no help there busy talking in the back and unfriendly no customer service at all. We had refills on our drinks which came back with a small cup and the drinks were still flat. The server took our utensils and we had to wait for utensils for our dessert to the point I ended up walking up and going to kitchen area to ask for one. Someone from the kitchen came out and told a server the server goes to the buffet line grabs a bunch and while walking away tells me you can grab it here. Mind you it's not a busy day very. Overall this place is not a good valve for quality food especially for buffet. Not going to be back here. They basically run around like chicken without heads kitchen staff included. read more

I should have taken a picture but my steak and shrimp is gone. Turlock Sizzler does not disappoint. My food was perfectly prepared, and the restaurant was very clean. Bravo to Alxsa for taking care of me. Can't wait to return. read more

I travel throughout the state of California spending 3-4 nights a week eating out. I'm a pro. When I go to Turlock I always go to Sizzler. It's the best kept secret for a GREAT salad bar. I was in town visiting and decided to order from sizzler. I am a picky eater who hates grilled food. Kudos to Diego the manager who took the time to listen to my needs and made sure that my steak was cooked perfectly. (No lines) The sides were delicious as well. Customer service was excellent. read more

This restaurant never fails me , always leaving me with my stomach full . But without the help of my server alexandra this wouldn't happen. She is so sweet and such a hard worker . I would most definitely be asking a table wherever she's serving !!! read more

Go there often for the salad bar, it is always fresh and well stocked. The staff is attentive and on point delivering meals with a smile. Back to the salad bar where else can you get a salad bar like this for $11.99? The salad bar has the usual fair for a salad bar but the extras are great. From soup to nuts you will find it there. The chicken soup is tremendous and I always start with that. I drive all the way from Gustine for the salad bar. Price, selection and service is is what you will find here. read more

The ladies working here are top notch! Magaly was so sweet and helpful. Our server was Vanessa Perez, and she too was incredible and easy to talk to and very helpful and appropriate. I was NOT happy that I had to pay $13 for a salad. Just doesn't seem right. Makes you want to fill a bag w salad and deliver it to the homeless! Update: Sizzler actually replied to me, very respectfully, and were VERY fair. I must admit, the salads that were crafted were VERY GOOD. I have therefore, bc of their willingness to interact w me, and the very valid points, I give the my highest. Yes, I will be back. Yes, it was VERY good! read more

Our server Alxsa was amazing really attentive to us! We had a great dinning experience here would recommend .

I loved my meal. $14.99 plus tax got me a 6 oz sirloin steak and endless salad bar. The best part was definitely the salad bar. I love that they offer field greens, spinach and romaine lettuce. All the leaves were fresh and very plump looking. I had three plates of salad. My server also gave me cheese bread, which I used to construct a sandwich with carnitas and lettuce. When my steak arrived, my server asked me to cut into it to check if it was cooked to my liking. I ordered my steak done medium, which has just a hint of pink in the center but was technically cooked throughout. It was tender enough. I concluded my meal with watermelon and fresh pineapple. All the fruit was super fresh and sweet. I'm glad I had my lunch here. read more

Sizzler - Salad bar - American Near Me - Turlock, California

I think the best deal for this restaurant is their AYCE salad bar. Don't let the "salad" part fool you. Although they do have an extensive salad (greens, veggies, etc), they also have a nice selection of hot foods. This included a make your own taco station, fried chicken, potato wedges and a few different types of soup. In addition they also have a variety of pasta salads. You also get access to some good deserts. However, the best part of this is the AYCE CARNITAS at the taco station. This by itself makes it the best deal, I can't think of any other place that offers some very good tasting carnitas at such a cheap price. During another visit, I had a steak dinner. The it was steak and potato salad. It was about $18 if I can recall, however, thought the steak was rather small. From then on I get the salad bar when I com here. I suggest you try it out once. read more

I won't be long with this review. Brought family to Sizzlers and we ate. Food is ok as it is at any typical Sizzlers. The salad bar is always good. Our waitress was good also. One complaint is the steak and endless shrimp. The coating on the shrimp is deceiving. Remove the batter coating and you are left with a very very small shrimp. Sizzlers should be embarrassed. I bought endless shrimp not endless batter coating with a hint of shrimp. I wonder what they would say if I just removed the batter coating and just eat the shrimp? I could be there all day then eating baby shrimp. read more

Love sizzlers! Went in today around 1ish, ordered a salad bar. I had Vanessa as a server; she's always so friendly and attentive! It was so so hot in there today, usually restaurants are cool and feel great during the hot season but today sizzlers was hot, the woman next to me was fanning her kid. I asked our server to turn the Ac on, and she said she had already asked her manager. It didn't come on so I'm assuming it was a no?? It shouldn't be that hot in a restaurant. We finished quickly and left. Didn't want my kid to suffer much longer. The service was 5 stars but that heat killed it. read more

Not recommend. Worst staff. Manager especially. We will never visit again. This location killed it for all others

The server Alexandra was so kind and very helpful. Very clean restaurant! The food was delicious! I will definitely be coming back!
