I ordered a New York 9oz meal with shrimp and a salad bar the shrimp was good the meat was medium rare nope we'll done the food on my plate looked tossed on the plate the meat looked as if they put three pieces together all well done I didn't get to finish my salad so what a waste my wife only ate salad bar she said don't get the meat balls don't get the cheese sauce for the chips the clam chowder was fishy witch means it was old glade I only took two bites the best part of our meal was the waiter was on top of it I didn't bring in my bag so I wasn't able to give him a tip but our meal cost 62. In Lancaster again and that usually means finding lunch somewhere. And with my wife having a desire for salad, Sizzler came to mind. Getting through line, choosing a table, then looking over the salad bar we did notice something we rarely see in this chain's offerings; mashed potatoes and gravy. In all my years dining at various Sizzler's from LA to Santa Barbara, I've only seen mashed potatoes offered as a salad bar option in only one other Sizzler and that was in Montebello, CA when I worked nearby in Monterey Park and dined there often. But enough, though ordering the salad bar I didn't try this restaurant's potatoes once today. But what I did try here, some of my regulars were a bit hit or miss. Fried chicken wings which were okay, but not very fresh and had probably been sitting since the earlier lunch rush. We didn't arrive until just after 1:30. Onion rings that tasted even older, and macaroni & cheese that just wasn't cheesy enough. Rather weak compared to what I've had at other Sizzlers. The taco shells and fillings were all there, but the guacamole was a bit overbearing taste wise. I could have done without it. So next up was my actual salad. Not much complaint there, everything seemed fresh enough but I must have overlooked the broccoli and cauliflower. Or maybe they just didn't have any. But the best part of the meal, that and the always popular frozen yogurt with Oreo bits and peanuts sprinkled on top, then stirred through and through in a mix of smooth crunchiness! Oh, my root beer was perfect too. As for Jackie, I didn't notice any complaints as she made her way, as usual, through the veggies, fruit, tacos, chicken wings, mac & cheese, and frozen yogurts stations. Food was so bland. I had more taste buds when I had Covid. I used to come here as a kid and the food was ok. It wasn't excellent but it was dependable and not bad. This was so bland. And I got the upgraded food not the salad bar which is crap as well. I got ribs and a lobster tail and they were both cooked pretty good but they were both bland. So bland. The ribs were tender but had no flavor, the lobster was not overcooked but it was bland. Here is a comparison as to what was not bland. The croutons were not bland, the corona beer I got was not bland, the Oreos for my ice cream were not bland, that was it. The ice cream was bland. Everything else was bland. I put salt on my food which I never do because it's bad but even that did nothing. It was also hot inside as if they don't have air conditioning. Turn it on it's hot outside. He got us refills on our drinks very quickly...my steak was over cooked...(has never happened to me at this location before ...usually my steak is perfect)...he immediately fixed the situation by bringing me a steak that was prepared correctly!! Ok, I just moved to Palmdale 3 weeks ago from Anahiem and I just want to say I have been to a lot of Sizzlers and have never such cleanliness and superior fresh salad bar like this place. Chris the manager is on top of it like you can't believe. I told him well done. I hope corp knows how well this place is run. The cashier and waiter, Stephanie was always stopping by the table asking if we need anything. The food and quality of how they cooked my Lobster tale not being over cooked but moist and tender. My son took me for an early Birthday dinner. I was starving. I ordered the steak and lobster tail. This price was $ 24.00. The steak can be upgraded to a bigger steak for an additional $ 2.50 or $ 9.00 for a New York steak. My son ordered the all you can eat shrimp and steak. The shrimp were pretty big...for all you can eat. Overall the staff were so nice and professional. I may go back on my actual B.D. Sizzler offers outdoor dining only during the coronavirus. Went to Sizzler on sunday 7/10/22. Chose the salad bar, big mistake! Most of the salads items were empty! no more crispy chicken wings, drum sticks, replaced by chicken nuggets & mini corn dogs both items were unavailable until they had to make more, we sat in the back and hardly saw a waiter to see if we needed anything. Any corporate restaurant try's everything to be profitable. Sizzlers are no exception. From the cheap small (6oz?) nervy cut of sirloin to the small cut of chicken breast. The small shrimp to the small sides. The oil they fried their shrimp was old and needing filtering. You can taste the oldness of the oil they fry their food in then it gave me diarrhea. They'll cut corners anyway they can so they can be profitable while the consumer gets sick. I'm pretty sure that's the last time I ever go the sizzlers. read more

Sizzler is advertising a steak and shrimp dinner for $18.99 and based on the photo we decided to try it. Mistake. I checked the thickness of the steak and it was 1/4"! A quarter of an inch! I walked around the dining area and all of the steaks I saw were the same. Save your money, this is a rip off when compared to what they advertise. read more

Was offered a cashier position at the date of hire. Then promoted to server on 11/16/19 Paid 11/22/19 177$ Was said to be training. Nov. 25th,26th,27th. Manager Tatiana texted me saying it was pushed back to the following week. Was told by tatianna that training got pushed back to the 2nd of December. Didn't hear back from sizzler until the 10th of december Tatiana called me the day before and asked me to come in for a regular day. And when I arrived the manager Juan fired me. The form said lay off but he said performance reasons. When I asked for detail he refused to explain. I'm 4 months pregnant, I did not notify sizzler about my pregnancy yet because I was scared to get fired again. Plus medical record are private so I'm not obligated to mention pregnancy. The job wasnt a risk. But the management team never corrected me on any mistakes. I was open to any feedback or constructive criticism but none was given. Terminated for permance and didnt even get to perform because the store is still ungoing construction. Throughout my short time atat sizzler I was praised for my positive cheerful energy and was told I was doing great. And never once got a complaint about my performance or a write up. My wife and I made the mistake of having lunch here today. We had the all you can eat salad bar and it was terrible. The salad bar was your typical salad bar, the soups were very bland. The hot food section was the worst, they replaced the chicken wings for chicken nuggets and mini corndogs. They're nothing more the the normal run of the mill chicken wing spot even any spices just beefed chicken wing, but to get those anyway you have to get the salad bar. My wife and I went to the Cherry farms and decided to give it try since we were hungry and tired after picking. The food was terrible. U make better food at home. Applebees is much better. Go there since they are less expensive plus the have a bar. The server was wonderful older lady and it's because of her charm I gave them two stars. She was so nice we gave her some of our cherries. But seriously dont go here if you're picking cherries. There is a Subway across the street and a Chinese restaurant.
