I think this place is closer to a 3 than a 2. However, being charged $12 to add shrimp to a $15 entree is simply nothing less than a scam, and because of that, a 2 feels more indicative of our experience. Here's what we ordered: * Steak frites: The chimichurri was far too acidic. * Carrot cake pancake: Too dry. * Rigatoni: Good. * Winemaker's breakfast: The chicken sausage was doused in salt and was essentially inedible. * Toffee nut pull apart bread: This was the star of the show. Loved it and would have it again. - zucchini strips: solid All in all, if we went back, I'm sure I could find something else that I would enjoy more. However, being charged $12 for a mediocre amount of shrimp on a $15 entree is outrageous. Because of that, I refuse to provide patronage to a place that would engage in such lunacy.

Well it's been 9 long years since I last dined here. I'm so happy to see they are still in business. This visit was overdue and I'm glad I had a chance to come back. I met up with a friend for brunch. It's a great spot for catching up. I suggest making reservations in advance. Service was excellent! My waitress was amazingly helpful, pleasant and polite. I was initially unhappy with my table. She insisted on making me happy and moved me to a better spot. 5 STARS Ambiance is good and the vibe of the restaurant is great. It's like cozy, chic and laid back. The decor works well and feels very welcoming. The simple green plants and neutral colors work well. 4 STARS I can still say my favorite thing here is wine and cocktails. I tried the frozen frose and it was delicious. I loved the fresh fruit and flavors. They put multiple types of berries in it. Presentation was on point. 4 STARS I decided to try the "fancy" BLT sandwich. It has bacon, arugula, tomatoes, aioli and a tomato jam. It's on toasted bread and is served with fingerling potatoes. This was truly different and was over the top. I prefer just a basic BLT going forward. It was loaded with bacon so that was a plus. It was an EXPERIENCE! I think it was just to much going on. The components didn't work well in my opinion. 2.5 STARS Overall I enjoyed myself. I will be back for drinks and wine. I think for me it's a place to go for adult beverages! The food has always been decent, but doesn't seem to excite my palate. I appreciate the creativity and effort though.

I went to Sixty Vines last Saturday around noon with a friend. I hadn't been to Sixty Vines in many years so it was good to go back and see how things had changed. I looked at the brunch menu and honestly really didn't see anything that I thought I'd like so I decided to get the spicy sausage pizza. I also got the Tequila Fix and the Emily's spicy margarita cocktails. I was disappointed in the pizza. The flavor and taste were ok but the size of sausage on the pizza was so small. It was like the sausage was for a baby. The cocktails were amazing. My favorite was the Tequila Fix. The watermelon, tequila, and lime were simple and perfect. Emily's spicy margarita was spicy but not too spicy both drinks had a nice tajin spice rim on the glass. I remembered I used to come to sixty vines to drink wine with friends. The food was ok but the drinks were the highlight!

A great restaurant for girls night out! We loved being able to taste different wines and curate our own charcuterie board. Our waitress helped pick pairing that went perfectly together. She was very nice, attentive, and food came out fast even being busy. The atmosphere is so cute. The wood roasted cauliflower was flavorful and a great serving size for the table. I ordered the rigatoni for my entree and it was delicious.

My wife & I had an enjoyable meal with friends. The atmosphere was pleasant. Matthew our server was fantastic. We would come again in the future.

Lots of great things about this place. First off a great Italian smell when you walk in. (Make a reservation to make sure you can get a table right away). The tables are family style- so they can seat up to about 20 people at one table. There were 3 in my party, so we sat at the end of a table and the server took the silver a placements away for the next 2 place settings next to us. They have a bar in front of the kitchen so you can watch the kitchen staff cook - I want to sit there next time I go because I'm a self professed foodie and I enjoy cooking shows and live demonstrations. They also have a long bar to sit at in front of a line of spigots which have maybe beer, wine or margaritas. Not sure what comes out of the taps. There is a beautiful copper or brass wood fire pizza oven. It doubles as a work of art it's so pretty. When I went to the ladies room it was very modern and retro at the same time with old fashioned fixtures and a super modern sink. And they had a rosemary candle lit for the most wonderful smell when you walk into the bathroom. They sell the rosemary candles at the front check in counter. We ordered the beet salad, roasted cauliflower and grilled shrimp from the appetizers and my husband got the Avacado salad with shrimp. I liked the grilled shrimp on oven roasted corn with tomatoes the best. The cauliflower came with hummus and 5 wedges of pita bread. If you like hummus try the roasted cauliflower appetizer. The beet salad looked amazing and my sister said it had citrus sections in it. The restaurant is next to the tollway and there is lots of parking. Overall this would be a great place for friends or family celebrations or a nice place for a date. Hope you enjoy! Right now they have adorable blankets letters to Santa the kids can fill out with envelopes and a little delivery truck to mail the letters. Very cute idea.

Overdue review for a solid restaurant in Plano. The layout and interior is gorgeous and drenched in sunlight. As for their American based fare, their pizza and pasta dishes were fresh, light and rich in flavor. Service has always been friendly, and efficient.

We had the best girls' dinner at Sixty Vines and absolutely loved everything about it -- the food, the ambiance, and the service were all on point. We were seated in the enclosed greenhouse area next to the fireplace, and even though the fireplace was technically outside the enclosure, it added such a cozy aesthetic to the space. We each ordered mocktails and they were so good -- the Garden Spritz, Blackberry Sage & Soda, and the Oddbird GSM red blend. I had the Garden Spritz and it was refreshing and flavorful. My sister had the Oddbird GSM and said it tasted just like a good glass of red wine. For starters, the Tuna Crudo and Santa Maria Tri Tip were delicious and beautifully prepared. For entrées, we went with the Cali Chicken Chop Salad and the Beet & Herbed Goat Cheese Salad, both super fresh and satisfying. Perfect spot for a girls' night -- can't wait to come back!

Come here for the "winemaker's restaurant" with a rustic theme and some Christmas decorations! I started off with the emilys spicy jalapeno margarita - it was less on the sweet side and more on the simple spicy side. Afterwards I tried the tequila fix which was fresh watermelon, tequila and lime which I deeply enjoyed since it was on the frutier side. The margherita pizza was amazing and effective - the dough was fresh. My only regret was I didn't have any else to eat the pizza bones with since the texture was amazing! The creste di gallo pesto, spinach and dried tomatoes worked together to make a delicious well rounded pasta dish with a pasta texture I haven't seen before The olive oil cake is spectacular as usual with the condensed milk(?) on the plate Will come back here again for sure! I've been here several times and I always enjoy a good dish made from scratch.

We came to celebrate birthdays, and wow--what an amazing experience! We were seated on the patio, which was beautiful, cozy, and had that lovely garden-like vibe thanks to all the glass and décor. They also have indoor seating, so it's a great spot for any size group, rain or shine. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and perfect for celebrating. The food was cooked well and presented beautifully--some of us just wished for a touch more seasoning on the meat. And for wine drinkers, there's an impressive selection to pair with your meal, which made the experience even better. The birthday touch of letting the birthday girls choose a champagne toast or a dessert was such a fun and thoughtful surprise. We had a wonderful time, and I'll definitely be back!

This is my absolute favorite place to eat at in Dallas. Anytime we are in town we make sure to eat here. Everything from the appetizers to the entrées to the mocktails to the service to the ambience, this place checks off all the boxes. The food is delicious and you can't go wrong eating her ever.

Such a cute interior! We sat at the bar for the happy hour which had some awesome espresso martinis (one of which was a brand new frozen one). I think the burrata was the best I've ever had!! The pizza tasted good but it felt like they went a little skimpy with the toppings. Overall great place

It has been well over a year since I've been to 60 Vines and like I said last time, it was a reminder of why 60 Vines is one of our favorite spots. Matt V was our waiter and he rocked it! The perfect amount of service and space so we could enjoy our dinner. He kept our waters filled, empty dishes cleared, almost like a Jedi as we barely noticed him slip and out. My hubby and I chose wine flights. A Chardonnay flight for me and a Pinot Noir flight for him. We both really enjoyed trying different wines and found a couple we'd like to come back and enjoy again. We started with the hummus appetizer and it was SO good! I've gotten this as my entree before and it didn't disappoint. My hubby enjoyed his Pork Pappardelle. Being dairy free there are not a lot of yummy options (outside of salad) for me here, but I've ordered the pizzas without cheese before and they were still really good. I chose the Fig & Prosciutto pizza this time. Sadly it was not very good without cheese. The toppings were yummy, but the pizza dough/crust was really tough. It was hard to get a bite without the need to pull or yank. I still ate the pizza and finished leftovers the next day. Next time I think I'll try something else though All in all a great date night with ambiance that was cozy and allowed us to really catch up. We will be back!

We had a reservation, which is recommended because the restaurant was very busy on a Saturday night in May. We opted to sit on the patio because the weather was gorgeous. I am not sure if the patio is climate controlled in the summer or not. But on that night we were there, the weather was mild so it was very pleasant. They have happy hour on Saturdays so I started with an IPA on tap and the wife had a Prosecco, also for happy hour prices. This is a tapas restaurant so I will try to remember all that we had. Manchego cheese board: excellent. The crisps and jam were perfect with the cheese. Potato torilla: excellent. The flavors melded very well and it was very tasty. It's filling so keep that in mind. Ceviche de jalapeno: excellent. Not too spicy, the shrimp and seafood was fresh with no fishy smell. The plantains were cooked perfectly, not greasy. Brisket on crostini: excellent. Forget the name but they are a winner. Brisket is good quality and the flavors come together nicely. Chicken skewer: excellent. They smartly use chicken thighs so the meat is juicy and tender. Tuna tartare: good. It actually was my least favorite. The quality was very good but it did not have much flavor. I needed some heat, some acid, something to give it a kick. We were absolutely stuffed and did not try dessert. Our server Marcellus was excellent. Very helpful and pleasant throughout. He never disappeared for too long. Overall, we had a great meal and will undoubtedly return here again.

But if you want Italian food, you're better off visiting Dallas. My Overall Rating - 2 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food) Atmosphere - Quartino Ristorante is a large, stand-alone red brick restaurant. It's big inside and has touches that remind me the Italian restaurants in Chicago, including stairs that go down to the basement. On my Sunday evening visit for dinner, the restaurant was packed with patrons, many of them families visiting Grandscape. It was also very loud. On our table were our plates & place settings, glasses, and pizza stand. These items are communal and self-serve. Beware if you're a germaphobe. 1/2 Star. Service - Our server was excellent. Our party of 4 had two guests arriving later, but he made sure we had bread on our table and brought out water. Once everyone arrived, we put in our order, and the dishes began to arrive as they were made. And as dirty plates piled up, other staff members jumped in to help out. Thanks, team! 1 Star. Food - Unfortunately, Quartino Ristorante didn't hit the spot for me. Starting with the table bread, the Italian bread was very tough. It was like eating bread that had been sitting out. I was hoping for hot, freshly sliced bread. Good thing there was plenty of Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar on the table, because I needed it to chew the bread. I found out the pizza oven was gas, not wood fired, so I opted for a trio of small plates: bruschetta, caprese salad, and eggplant parmesan. If you like tart tomatoes, you'll like Quartino Ristorante. I like my tomatoes milder (San Marza). While the bruschetta tomatoes were great, the bread they sat on had the same trait as the table bread. Finally, my eggplant was more mozzarella and tomato sauce then eggplant. 1/2 Star. Will I Return? - No. Quartino Ristorante is not my kind of Italian restaurant. It's large, loud, and families that visit Grandscape will be perfectly comfortable here. As for me, I'll stay local to Dallas for my Italian eats. No Stars.

I got the brisket chili (way more meat than I expected, good!) and cornbread. Both were amazing and heavy I really enjoyed them. I do not typically order salads at restaurants but oof their salad was absolutely divine. I've been having salads at other places but nothing compares to here. Staff is always accommodating and nice which is a plus.

Warm wood tones, beautiful lighting, and that perfect upscale-yet-cozy feel make the whole place feel special. The location is ideal too -- easy to get to and surrounded by that lively Shops at Legacy energy without any of the chaos. But the food? Next level. The elk tacos were straight-up fantastic -- perfectly seasoned, tender elk, fresh toppings, and just the right amount of heat. I could have eaten a second order without hesitation. Then came the chicken fried steak, and it did not disappoint. Crispy, golden crust, juicy and flavorful meat, and that classic creamy gravy that tastes like it was made with love. Every bite was pure comfort food elevated. Everything about the experience felt thoughtful and elevated, yet still warm and welcoming. If you're in Plano and want a restaurant that nails both the food and the atmosphere, Haywire is it. I'm already planning my next visit. Hands-down 10/10. Go now -- you'll thank me later!

I got a seasonal matcha drink with a vanilla cold foam, which was so good! Genuinely good- not specialty matcha shop good, but better than a standard coffee shop matcha. What drew me here was the flatbread lunch special and the fact that the matcha actually looked green on the reviews. It didn't disappoint! It was really nice to be able to enjoy actual food while working remote instead of the usual croissant or scone. I got the Bees Knees flatbread, which had pepperoni, jalapeños, and honey! What I really loved was how comfortable I felt here. There was plenty of seating, staff and other customers were friendly, lots of power outlets, great music playing the entire time, games to play if you come with a group, good WiFi, and then Pokemon was playing on one tv while a National Geographic animal documentary played on another. The interior design aesthetic was just a bit too busy for my taste, but everything here was so cool (like what you'd expect to find in Austin or Seattle). Also, this spot is open 8am to midnight which is cool if you need to work late or just want to hangout.

Unfortunately, the pizza did not meet expectations--especially given the price point. It didn't taste fresh or house-made, and it lacked the quality and attention to detail you would expect from a higher-end or craft-style offering. In fact, it reminded me more of the kind of pizza you might pick up at a convenience store (like QT) than something prepared in a specialty restaurant setting. While their coffee may be a strong point (I didn't try), the pizza left a lot to be desired, and I didn't feel it offered good value for the cost and the quality was poor.

I really enjoyed the American cuisine here--great food and a nice atmosphere overall…read more I ordered the French onion soup and the Reuben eggrolls. The French onion soup seems to be popular here, and as soon as I saw that buttery-looking pastry puff baked on top, I knew I had to order it! It was definitely hearty, with plenty of onions (which I love). However, it was a bit saltier than I prefer. I do wish there were an option to substitute the onion soup with a chowder, like clam or corn chowder. The Reuben eggrolls were surprisingly good! I'm used to traditional Asian eggrolls, so I really liked this creative twist. The house-smoked pastrami, sauerkraut, and melted Gruyère cheese worked so well together. They tasted amazing with the spicy Russian dipping sauce (which I appreciated wasn't too spicy). It was such a flavorful and memorable dish! I'm glad I gave it a try.
