We were back in town for work and immediately knew we had to return to 60 vines for dinner! We arrived on Sunday late afternoon approximately 4 PM. We didn't make a reservation and they were able to accommodate us, but because of the popularity of this location, we would highly recommend making reservations for dinner. We were immediately seated and greeted shortly thereafter by our server. My boss opted to get the roasted pork sandwich. Please note this is on their brunch menu because of the timing of when we came the kitchen was able to accommodate his request. The sandwhich is filled with slow roasted pork, avocado, worcestershire mayo, scallion, garlic, arugula, citronette, fresno peppers, with crispy fingerling potatoes on the side. He shared with me that it was probably the best pork sandwich that he's ever had. I got the CRESTE DI GALLO - roasted chicken, mushrooms, spinach, oven-dried tomato, with a pesto cream. It's like the perfect little bowl of pasta. I didn't walk away feeling completely overwhelmed with that heavy pasta feeling in my stomach, but yet still filled. It was absolutely perfect. We both opted to do a flight of wine. My boss opted for all whites opted for a mix of red blends and whites. Again, always several options available and in fact the last time we were here, I found a new red blend that I absolutely loved and ended up buying a bottle of it at my local store. After two exceptional experiences here this location has definitely become a go to for us when we are in town. Thankfully, we're there every couple of months since our corporate headquarters is based in the area and we look forward to returning again soon. ! read more

We went here for a Galentine's lunch with about 30 ladies from work. I've never heard of the place, but I am so glad we went there. The servers was fantastic even with our large party and the food was incredible. I remember only one of the servers names because he stood out. His name was Austin and he was absolutely fantastic and spot on what our specific requests were. He listened to everything we asked, and he answered with the knowledge of knowing the restaurant he worked for. He helped create special drinks for the people who needed something, but it wasn't on the menu. When I asked him what he would order if he were to eat at the restaurant. He told me that the pan roasted chicken dish is 100% overlooked but is absolutely awesome. And he was right. It was a roasted chicken thighs on top of the bed of chickpeas in some kind of sauce. I was super nervous, but I've learned to trust the servers recommendations. I am not a chickpea fan or a hummus fan, but I have been trying to eat better and this dish blew me away. I am meat and potato girl, but this gives me new eyes to chickpeas. I also love old-fashions, but I wanted something lighter than what they had on their menu. He recommended a drink called beehive that is no longer on the menu that he created himself for me that day with less sugar, and it was awesome! I am beyond shocked with my experience from today. I called back in January to make a reservation for a party of 20 for today (2/22) for my baby shower brunch. I was told that I couldn't reserve one of the rooms without paying some sort of deposit, which was fine, but just wanted to make sure that wherever they put us, that we would be out of the way of other patrons and servers trying to walk by. They agreed they could do that, so everything was good. So I thought. I also was excited to come to this restaurant specifically because I had been once before and had a great experience. Mind you, I called on Thursday, 3 days before my reservation, to let them know that my party of 20 was going to have a final headcount of 16. They let me know that we would have two high top tables next to each other because their tables only fit up to 14, which was fine with me. No issue. They thanked me for letting them know and I got a confirmation with my updated reservation. Great. This morning (the morning of my reservation) I received a text asking if I was still going to have 16 people because they can only fit 14 at one table.... Yesss?? I just called to let yall know we would be having 16 and had already had this conversation. However, the only way to respond to them was to click on the link in the text which I believe is connected through Open Table. They responded back and said we would have two tables. The whole interaction through text was very confusing. When I got to the restaurant, I let the host know that I was there for my reservation and gave him my name, the same name I used when booking and when emailing their event coordinator. He looked at his tablet and said "we don't have a reservation for that name." I was very confused and told him that I just received a text THIS morning about my reservation. He continued by saying "I don't know but we don't have a reservation for you, did you book the right location..." Let me just say, I am 7 months pregnant and have people driving in from two hours away and have done my due diligence at making sure I have communicated with them throughout this whole process of planning my shower, so to say I am beyond frustrated at this moment is an understatement. Then another gentleman walks up and instead of trying to help me figure out what's wrong with some decency and proper customer service, the two of them talked under their breath, rolling their eyes and finally found my reservation that somehow had my maiden name instead of my married name. The only way I could think of it changing from the name I gave them was that when I responded to them this morning on Ope Table, my account that I made years ago with Open Table must have made their system automatically change it. I don't know. Either way, a simple "we're so sorry, sometimes our system makes weird updates with Open Table" (or whatever the issue may have been) would have been a heck of a lot nicer than rolling their eyes and ignoring me. THEN. We were told to follow the host to the sunroom, which was also weird because I was told we would have two tall tables somewhere in the main room, either way it was fine, except that they put us in the middle of the room and in the middle of the walkway for other guests and servers, THE ONE THING I ASKED THEM NOT TO DO. I felt like an inconvenience and hated that I was bothering other guests, especially when my family and friends wanted me to open the gifts they got me for my baby shower. Our waitress, Fortune, was SO KIND and smiled the entire time she was taking care of us, never made us feel rushed and I believe she also had another waiter helping her bring out drinks and food. He was also very kind and the two of them worked great as a team. I wish I had gotten his name. As for the other servers, it was really upsetting seeing them huff and puff and roll their eyes when having to walk by our tables as if we shouldn't be there. This is a huge reason why I call well in advance to make sure a small gathering like this would be okay and to communicate that we would like to be out of the way in a corner or sometimes a smaller room. And the fact that they have an event planner on staff and a very intricate system for placing reservations, made me believe that this would've been a great place to come, however, I will never be coming back to this location and will not be recommending this location to any of my clients for their events as well. read more

Went here for my birthday last night and had a great time. Only downside is the hosts, they don't greet you and you still have to wait if you have a reservation, even after waiting we got to our table that was missing a chair on one of the settings. Our waitress and the food was amazing and made the night very special. It was our first time and Alexandria really took care of us. We got the wine flight and she gave us great recommendations. Had a solo dinner with my book and this spot completely delivered! My waitress was wonderful--so attentive and even brought me a complimentary glass of wine when mine took a little longer than expected. She was personable and fun to chat with (we even talked about books!). The food was absolutely amazing--I had the Truffled Vineyard fries, the Santa Maria tri tip, and finished with the sticky toffee cake. Every bite was divine. The ambiance was airy, refreshing, and fitting to the demographic they want to cater to, and the food was pretty good; however, our server kept disappearing for long periods of time, so by the time our food came out we could tell it had been sitting out for a while. For the past two years we have continuously returned to this Sixty Vines location because of the quality of food, service and vibes. We always order at least 4-5 appetizers because of the variety in flavors, shareable portions, and they're honestly so delicious and fulfilling. Sitting at the wine bar is our favorite place in the house, because of the intimate service we receive every time we come. Don't get me wrong the tables are nice too, everyone is always friendly and personable, but Katie at the bar is top tier. You are able to try a flight of wines, or taste a couple before you order a glass. The selection is unbelievable! The food is very high-quality and beautifully plated. Let me tell you about the best pork chop I've ever had... Sixty Vines in Plano (yes this is a 2nd post in 1 week) was a shock for me. I have been once before, and it was a nice experience, but I honestly didn't remember it. I went back recently for a date night with the wife and had a wonderful experience. The menu screams of nuance and at the same time simplicity. The flavor profiles are all straightforward and offer incredible tastes. Now for this pork chop, holy crap. Sage brown butter, pistachio & peppadew romesco with a roasted carrot on the side. Literally devoured it, it was incredible. If you are in the Plano, TX area and you are looking for the best pork chop you've ever had, try Sixty Vines.  Our bartender was super friendly and helped with the menu. I've taken liberty of elaborating in case it was unclear. "Salmon was burnt and vegetables were bitter beyond expectation." Not sure how much more clear I could be. We ordered the salmon and it was burnt. That's it. Veggies likely burnt as well because that's what happens when you burn them. "The kids pasta was also pretty much tasteless and chicken was bland and not tender whatsoever." Do your chefs actually taste the food before they send it out? There was no taste as I already mentioned. "We also felt rushed since they told us after we sat down that we only had a certain time to eat before the next reservation arrived. With all due respect, that's on the restaurant to book properly. Not us." Yeah so address this with your staff. This is easy fix. Just don't rush people when you've seated them that's all. If you've double booked, own up to it and make amends some way. It's not our fault you double booked. "Also menu via QR code kind of doesn't work if someone doesn't have smartphone to scan it. But after many years- before covid- this place has been our #1 go-to for all our birthdays and celebrations or when we simply crave their amazing food. This place is super cute. Very airy and modern, great spot for brunch. They have a very long bar for wine on tap. Our waitress was nice but really look her time with every request that be had. I got the beet and herbed goat cheese salad. The bright salad was beautiful. The beets were beautiful and the oranges in the salad added a nice sweetness. My new favorite place. The zucchini appetizer is like no other. I went with a friend and we asked the chef to sit the BLT and the shrimp avocado salad. I just mixed my sandwich into the salad and ate the top piece of toast with the salad. Very delicious and enjoyed the vibe. I would have chose to sit inside and not in the patio though. The heater was right on me and it was a sunny day. Our waitress was pretty good and I bought two candles but do check the candle because the candle has holes of space and for $25 I want all the good smelling wax without bubbles in my wax. read more

This would have been a 5-star review if it weren't for the heavy, thick, overwhelming rosemary candle scent diffused all over the entire restaurant, including the restrooms. You literally cannot take a breath without inhaling it. For anyone sensitive to scents, this is like suffocation, only here with the scent clinging to hair and clothing...impossible to escape. For me, an instant migraine. The food was very good. Partner had the pork sandwich, I had the cabernet burger, both with their crispy potato pieces, and both was excellent. The rum cake dessert was also quite good. However, we will never return, as the pervasive rosemary scent is completely overwhelming and inescapable. I could not wait to leave, and even had my lunch boxed up to take home. But, that heavy, HEAVY rosemary candle scent followed me home, in my hair and clothing, and even seemed to transfer to the car. I was tearing so badly that I tried to escape to the ladies room, just to be able to take a deep breath, but a candle was burning brightly there, as well. While I appreciate that not everyone is disturbed by heavy scents, I prefer to choose my own scent, and not have one forced on me, overpowering me, with no chance of escape. The open seating plan is unimaginative, with few if any booths, and just a bunch of tables spread out on a large concrete-appearing floor. For the menu, you are asked to scan the QR code on the drink placemat. I find this less relaxing than browsing through a menu, without having to constantly scroll up and down on my phone...then try to remember the desserts, etc. Nice place, good food, good service, but outrageously suffocating scent. We're talking more intense than a Yankee candle store. Anyone with any sensitivity to scents needs to realize that, here, there is no escape. read more

Would highly recommend Sixty Vines for a large group/special occasion. The inside is beautiful and spacious. There is a good mix of seating options for all party sizes. Our service throughout the whole experience was excellent. The name Sixty Vines did not disappoint as I thought the alcohol was what they did best. They have a customizable champagne bar with fresh fruit, syrups, and juices, which I loved because I have a sweet tooth. You can't go wrong with the cocktails either! I ordered the Carajillo, as the combination of espresso and chocolate flavored salt were intriguing. I thought the drink was executed perfectly! The food was decent. In my opinion, the pizzas were the best. I also had the Cabernet brunch burger, which was not the most enjoyable experience as the buns were very soggy from all the other components. My friend and I chose Sixty Vines for our monthly brunch date and it was a good time! They have over 60 wines which is pretty freaking amazing! We both ordered the pomegranate mimosas. They have a mimosa bar as well with a few different juices to choose from but you have to purchase a bottle and you can refill your glass as much as you like.
