I absolutely loved everything about this restaurant. The waiter, the drinks, the food, the atmosphere. And especially that the manager asked another table to leave when they brought their dog inside and decided to feed it under the table. Who does that? I was impressed by how the situation was handled. But back to the food!! The burrata was fantastic-fresh and lovely flavors. Everything else was hot and came out quickly. I came here last weekend for a friends bday. The service/staff were awesome. The food was pretty good. With a large group i think only one order came out wrong...but it was the cauliflower crust pizza for the gf person and took a long time to come out and then correct. We've been here a few times, but our last visit was rough. We asked how long the wait was and were told 15 minutes. The hostess added us to the list and said they would send a text once our table was ready. She even read our phone number back to us. We waited outside and 30 minutes went by before we went back inside to see how much longer. Yea, they somehow didn't actually add us to the list. There were plenty of tables available by then and they gave us a table immediately. We placed our order and after receiving everything except the penne alla vodka and waiting almost 20 minutes after we'd gotten everything, I asked where our pasta was. Our waiter said it should've come out long ago and he would check. Somewhere along the line, it was forgotten. Either it was never put in or the kitchen staff lost it. It ended up being on a completely separate bill because they had to put it in again. By this point, we were over this dinner experience. An extra hour had been added on due to no fault of our own. So why am I giving it 4 stars? Because the manager made it right. Patrick, the manager, came over to our table to talk to us. We politely explained how this evening was a failure across multiple points and he was very apologetic and comped our entire $50 meal. I wasn't expecting that as I had already given our waiter my credit card and he already ran it. We weren't looking for a free meal, we just wanted to give him honest feedback about how things went wrong. Because he took the time to chat with us, I wouldn't hesitate to return. This experience had never happened before there so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say it was just a rough night for folks. As for the food, the pepperoni pizza and chicken soup were delicious. The short rib comes pretty much comes in soup, but it was fall of the bone tender. The penne alla vodka that we waited so long for missed the mark. It was incredibly sour and mushy. We've gotten the bolognese and pappardelle pastas before and those were both excellent. read more

From out our step in the door this place was amazing. The decor is an old Italian restaurant. From the olive oil, parmesan cheese with saucers on the table while the soft crusty bread is brought to your table. Our server Isiah was beyond cool. He kept the bread coming and was answered every question we had regarding the menu. It was (4) of us . The food was amazing with the portions being appropriate and not just food thrown on a plate. This place was great! Located next to a nice shopping area. My friends treated me here when I visited and you could tell they frequented the place. Our server was very knowledgeable about items on the menu which made it easier to order. The gnocchi with Alfredo sauce was the best part of the meal next to the fungi pizza. Quartino Ristorante is a very popular Italian restaurant in the Grandscape district in The Colony. This restaurant has fantastic service and caters to the surrounding suburban crowd. But if you want Italian food, you're better off visiting Dallas. My Overall Rating - 2 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food) Atmosphere - Quartino Ristorante is a large, stand-alone red brick restaurant. It's big inside and has touches that remind me the Italian restaurants in Chicago, including stairs that go down to the basement. On my Sunday evening visit for dinner, the restaurant was packed with patrons, many of them families visiting Grandscape. It was also very loud. On our table were our plates & place settings, glasses, and pizza stand. These items are communal and self-serve. Beware if you're a germaphobe. 1/2 Star. Service - Our server was excellent. Our party of 4 had two guests arriving later, but he made sure we had bread on our table and brought out water. Once everyone arrived, we put in our order, and the dishes began to arrive as they were made. And as dirty plates piled up, other staff members jumped in to help out. Thanks, team! 1 Star. Food - Unfortunately, Quartino Ristorante didn't hit the spot for me. Starting with the table bread, the Italian bread was very tough. It was like eating bread that had been sitting out. I was hoping for hot, freshly sliced bread. Good thing there was plenty of Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar on the table, because I needed it to chew the bread. I found out the pizza oven was gas, not wood fired, so I opted for a trio of small plates: bruschetta, caprese salad, and eggplant parmesan. If you like tart tomatoes, you'll like Quartino Ristorante. I like my tomatoes milder (San Marza). While the bruschetta tomatoes were great, the bread they sat on had the same trait as the table bread. Finally, my eggplant was more mozzarella and tomato sauce then eggplant. 1/2 Star. Will I Return? - No. Quartino Ristorante is not my kind of Italian restaurant. It's large, loud, and families that visit Grandscape will be perfectly comfortable here. As for me, I'll stay local to Dallas for my Italian eats. No Stars. read more

Food was good, the concept was different. I will likely order different next time. We were on a double date, so there is no sharing of food like that, which is the concept. That might work in a family type situation better. The food was good there was no complaints on the taste. Service was great the server had a great since of humor and great personality. One of my favorite pizza restaurants near me with the best happy hour! I also recommend to join their wine subscription because not only is the price good and you can opt to skip certain months but you get to drink it there at the restaurant too. If you were wanting to buy wine for your table anyways, its cheaper and a more fun experience to try different wines through joining! The pizza is very good and my favorites are the mushroom fungi pizza, and the san Danielle ( but sub the tomato sauce to the white sauce used in the fungi pizza- the tomato sauce is fine but its a light tomato base rather than a thick marinaria one and sometimes it makes the pizza a little too wet) . The employees are always so accommodating and friendly and I always have a good time. Its the perfect date spot, the family dinner, birthday, etc. They event have event rooms of all sizes that you can reserve and do their food packages! Lastly I wish I could grind that parmesan cheese onto everything. Its so fun and yummy I really need to get one of those lol read more

I loved the vibe of this restaurant. Not only was the decor nice but the service was amazing. It reminded me of a restaurant I would go to in Chicago. My friend picked the place and I just showed up, so I didn't realize that the original is based in Chicago. They did a great job of keeping that Chicago charm in Texas. I ended up getting a half order of 2 pastas/risotto. I don't normally eat pasta but this place has good reviews and I was craving it. It did not disappoint! I got the pallardelle al Sufi di manzo and the shrimp risotto. I couldn't decide which one I liked more so I alternated bite for bite. And they have good wine that's very inexpensive for a restaurant but good quality. I wish they had a location closer to me. I guess I'll just have to make the drive. read more

The ambiance inside is beautiful and we sat in the cocktail room which was definitely a good idea with the grand bar. The veal meatball slider was ok and needed more seasoning and the pickled veggies were much too salty. The pizza's crust was hard and difficult to chew. The flavor was OK, but it was a pretty oily pizza. The Park deli pasta was perfectly al dente and was flavorful. The spaghetti was surprisingly tasty as well, but the one single meatball was small and I wish we had been told how small one meatball was on top of the spaghetti so that we could have ordered more. We got the dessert that had ice cream, whipped cream, strawberries, and a biscotti on top. The ice cream was quality, and the berries were fresh. The service was slow and it took a while to get things. I would potentially go back for the happy hour if I was close by. read more

The hubs and I came on Saturday evening for a date night. I recommend getting a reservation (super easy online) because it was very busy but we got seated quickly. Our server was really friendly and explained the concept and menu. We decided to share a lot of the items as it's designed to do so if you choose to. I love that you can order just a few things off the charcuterie menu instead of getting a whole board. We started with cocktails and the bread with olive oil. We then tried a few charcuterie items (the duck prosciutto was to die for), the veal meatballs, the meatball slider, and finished with the Coppa Alla Banana. Joined some friends here for a Saturday night dinner and really enjoyed myself. The free valet parking (if you get the host to validate before leaving) is absolutely worth it in the busy area. The place was absolutely packed and the tables were very close together so volume affected the vibes a little bit but not enough to make the experience bad. The employees all seemed to work together as a team and seemed very kind and polite. The bread service was a great starter to the meal and was replenished when we ran out. I ordered some olives to start and absolutely loved the selection (be mindful of the pits). The tortellini was maybe some of the best I've had in the metro. Full of flavor and very creamy! I'd absolutely give this place another visit but may prefer a weekday evening if I'm looking for a little bit of a quieter experience. read more

This is the second birthday dinner I've had here simply because the staff is incredible! Even the OGs including Stephen, Anna, gabby, and Rachel. I especially requested Isaac because I knew he would take great care of our group. Even as industry people I know we can be slightly demanding but the quartino crew got us everything we needed. Food is amazing, they have such an amazing range of items from appetizers to salads, soups, veggies and main dishes. Love having multiple courses. The service is always good here and things come out quick. The ambiance is relaxed and laid back. The parking on the other hand is TOUGH. It is very difficult to park at the parking lot so I would recommend parking at the garage and walking from there. read more

It's a decent size pizza and it's thin crust and crispy. My next favorite is the all cheese one. Pretty decent service here. Lots of seating. They don't do reservations for happy hour, so just show up. Parking in the Grand scape area always takes a while, so allot some time for parking. The Neapolitan pizza had good flavor and a good crust. We decided on dessert. We were lucky to get a cannoli which isn't on the menu. I had to get it because getting a good cannoli in Texas isn't easy. It was very tasty (mind you I'm not an expert). The Torta Al Cioccolata and Coppa Alla Banana lacked depth had to be helped with very well made Gelato. Over all this was a good experience and for dessert I would just ordered Gelato. read more

We came to Quartino's on a Saturday night while on a bachelorette trip. The food had great flavor, the servers were nice, and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere. The biggest downside I found was the parking; we had to search for a parking spot for 15 minutes, and the spot we found wound up being a 5 minute walk to the restaurant. read more

After three visits since the start of the year, Quartino Ristorante has officially on my list of favorite Italian restaurants. The consistency of the food and the warmth of the hospitality makes it a standout. They offer a fantastic range of pizzas and pastas, but the real stars are the specialty dishes Shrimp Risotto. After finding the truffle risotto a bit too mild on our first visit, the shrimp risotto was a surprise. It perfectly captured the essence of the risotto I enjoyed in Venice. I added a bit of Calabrian Chiles for an extra kick, which elevated the dish to another level. Also tried the Cheese Fondue came with bread straight from the oven, fresh, soft, and warm--making it the perfect appetiser to start pairing with a glass of wine. We tried pasta with Clams as well. Very flavourful with fresh ingredients. Exceptional Service & hospitality What truly defines the Quartino experience is the staff. The service is fast, professional, and incredibly friendly. We were particularly impressed by the manger during our second visit, he was very helpful while we were exploring the Grappa selection. I came here with my coworkers for a business dinner after a long day of meetings. This was my first time here and thoroughly enjoyed myself. The dishes is where everything is shareable so be cautious not to over order as we did. We ordered pizza half margarita / half campania, hot quattro formaggi/half pepperoni, white bean garlic dip, two bruschette, salads were caesar, quartino salumi, tuscan sausage risotto, tortellini, spaghetti al pomodoro, shrimp diavolo with angel hair pasta, two roasted asparagus, two broccolini, and a chicken parmigiana. As you can imagine we had way too much food. But I was a fan of the salumi salad, pepperoni pizza and the shrimp diavolo. I also ordered an Italian 75 which was ok. The pasta with the braised short rib was just ok. The carrots were crunchy and the pasta was so thick and not cooked enough it was like eating cardboard.
