The fish was cooked beautifully. Fresh and soft. The miso sauce definitely elevated the dish. On top of that, the pumpkin puree also added another level of taste. Boychoy gave a good balance for the miso glazed. The seafood stew was good. Full of ingredients. Love to dip the bread in the soup. Such a home dish for me. Service was excellent. We had lunch at Six Seven and overall I'd give it about 3.5 stars. The ahi lunch and the miso salmon were both pretty good, and the waterfront views are definitely beautiful. What surprised me was an extra charge at the end basically tied to the view/location at the dock, which didn't feel very transparent upfront. Service was okay overall, but the menu had inaccuracies, and at one point the host interrupted our meal to take away the flower from the table, which felt odd and kind of awkward. The busser was excellent, always filling our waters and he wasn't intrusive. Not terrible, but probably not somewhere I'd go back to with so many other Seattle options nearby. read more

We love this place and decided to have a fancy family dinner here with our 9yo son in tow (he's pretty cool: loves shrimp, ahi, prosciutto... may be expensive when he's a teen though!). The menu has not varied too much since we last came but I did get a special restaurant week cocktail, Lost in the Fog if I recall correctly. It was delicious! Also at the table was a Shirley temple and a dark & stormy cocktail. Our server was prompt and on it. Next we had prawns with cocktail sauce on the side (a key detail for the 9yo who does not like sauces) and the carpaccio which was delicious. Mains were ahi tartare with avocado for the kiddo, filet of beef, truffle fries, burrata and an arugula & endive salad. This restaurant is located on Pier 67 inside the Edgewater hotel. I made reservations weeks ahead since they had ocean facing dining hall. Upon arrival we were taken to our table right away. It was next to the window and we had a wonderful view of the ocean and the mountains. The interior of the restaurant was gorgeous, colorful modern furnishing, trees and plants integrated within, and a huge full service bar. There were outdoor tables as well, on the deck of the pier. We started our dinner with burrata, a very tasty dish with cherry tomatoes and delicious cheese. For entree we ordered the 7oz filet, the salmon and the bouillabaisse (seafood dish). But steak was cooked nicely, but didn't have the flavor I was looking for. The herb roasted tomato on the plate also seemed so uninteresting. The salmon had good taste. For the bouillabaisse, it had loads of mussels, scallops, prawns, and fish, but the tomato broth wasn't appealing to me. The service was fine overall. Our server was very friendly. The entree dishes took some time (20+ minutes) to come out. Also, we had to wait for a really long time (10+ minutes) just to get our check and pay. The place was fully decorated for the holidays and I had such a wonderful time on a date here. The servers were kind and gave a lot of opinions if needed. The menu was smaller so there is not a broad range of items. The food is PRICEY, but most of it is delicious. We went later in the evening, so not sure if it was because we looked younger or if they were just busy, but we had items not served to us and then charged later and we had to make sure they were removed from our receipt. read more

The view is definitely the draw for the Six Seven. Nestled on the edge of the Puget Sound, the restaurant offers a wonderful evening view. The view - in and of itself is reason enough to go. However, you can double your fun, and markedly lower your bill, by eating in the bar and lounge area. Same great view and great service, but with a bar menu of light-bites and full access to the restaurant menu. Find a table in the lounge near the windows, order a couple of cocktails and then meander your way through the menu by ordering small plates and appetizers and sharing them with the whole table. Great View, Disappointing Flavors I really wanted to love Six Seven since the ratings were so high and the location at The Edgewater is iconic. Unfortunately, the food and atmosphere simply did not live up to the hype. The Food The meal started on a high note with the clam chowder, which was easily the best part of the entire experience. It was creamy and flavorful. However, it was downhill from there. I ordered the fish and chips and the batter had a very strange, off-putting flavoring that I couldn't quite place. It just didn't taste like a classic, fresh fry. My husband had the fried chicken burger and described it as totally "blah" with no real seasoning or crunch. We finished with dessert, but even that was just "meh" and not worth the calories. The Atmosphere While the view of the water is undeniably beautiful, the interior of the restaurant felt dated and strange. The decor, including the branch-covered pillars and the general layout, felt like it was stuck in a different decade and didn't quite match the "fine dining" price point. Overall If you are looking for a place to sit by a window and look at the Sound, this is a nice spot for a drink. But for a full meal, the quality of the food just isn't there. A quick trip for some champagne and laughs with a friend. Came in on a rainy Monday which clouded some of the view but not enough to let it ruin the day. Because it was midday, there was hardly anyone there, so we sat in a booth. Service was on point. Not too much stress for them since it was only a handful of people. There's valet parking but I opted for the street and to take the 10 minute walk. The vibes work for whatever the occasion warrants. Be it intimate and romantic, or super chill. I only came for drinks. The menu did not look too intriguing to me. I wanted a heartier plate and this seemed a little too bougie for my taste. Breakfast would run you about $25, lunch around the same, and dinner starts at about $35. They have poke bowls, turkey clubs, crab benedict, soups and salads and more. As you can tell by the reviews, this place is extremely popular with the kids. My husband and I were taking my teenage cousin out to Seattle for his birthday and he chose Six Seven for dinner. He saw the menu and was immediately intrigued. Valet parking was a decent price and so convenient. We had reservations and requested a seat outside to catch the last bit of a beautiful sunset. I will admit, the first waitress we had left us with a horrible impression with her poor attitude with me but I was determined to have a great meal and requested a new waitress. The manager, Jeff, came by and apologized for her and was receptive to the feedback regarding why we wanted to be waited on by someone else. I loved that he stated he wanted to make sure we were comfortable and from there on, it was a complete 180. My cocktail was so refreshing that I had another. The birthday boy had a mocktail and I was smitten with how cool he felt. Although disappointed they were out of ribeyes- what we were all interested in, we were able to piece a decent meal together and it gave us a reason to come back and try one. We had the artisan breads, firecracker (?) shrimp, Caesar salad, clam chowder, Mac and cheese, lobster Mac and cheese, filet of beef, and potato purée. We ate until we couldn't take another bite. Jeff checked in on us throughout the evening and was very pleasant to converse with. We decided on two desserts to give them a try and he brought out four! They served us worms, and didn't apologize! We ordered a salmon dish. The dish came and looked fine at first but when we cut into the Salmon, it clearly had parasites. We were immediately disgusted, and told the waitress the fish obviously had roundworms. She angrily picked up the dish and said she would talk to the chef. We asked someone else if we could talk to the manager. The manager came over and we told him that the fish had round worms and that the waitress had taken it back to the Chef. He didn't apologize, he simply said he would look into it. The waitress returned 15 minutes later and said that they were going to comp the fish dish and would it be okay if we paid for the other dish we had ordered. The manager never returned, and no one ever apologized. We literally have photographs of worms coming out of the fish. They were dead, because it was cooked, but still not something we would want to eat. When the waitress said you could pay for everything else if you'd like, I just stared at her in shock and said are you serious? She angrily snapped back, fine, if you don't want to pay for anything, I'll take care of it. And just walked away. No one ever apologized. We will never be back. read more

We went for the Little Autumn Lobby Bar and it was really cute. The ambiance was very fall everywhere you looked! They have a small menu of autumn-themed drinks, snacks, and sweets. The rest of the menu is an abbreviated six seven menu. The food was good but they seemed to really only have one or two servers for the entire bar so you had to flag them down if you needed something after they took your initial order. Had a very enjoyable light meal at the restaurant. We tried the halibut, ceasar salad and wagyu sliders with truffle fries. Good serving their old fashioned and dirty martini. Service was quick and pleasant. Be aware of the 20% gratuity added to your bill automatically. Am not a big fan of the pre added gratuity, in this case they would have got the tip anyhow due to service but did leave a sour note for me as pre set/enforced gratuities rub me the wrong way, especially when still space to add more tip. It was creamy, rich, and had large chunks of lobster. The pasta was cooked just right and the brown butter crumb topping added a satisfying crunch. The cod might honestly be one of the best fish dishes I've ever had! We went with a group, so we got to try a bunch of different things -- rating and what we ordered below! Definitely recommend for a date night or a fancy dinner with friends! What we ordered with ratings: 1. Started with truffle fries and bread -- rate both a 7/10 (some fries with skin tasted like dirt, but at least that means they were fresh also ketchup served with truffle fries is a little crazy bread was fine but nothing super special, loved the butter) 2. BLT Wedge (9/10, came with candied bacon and a poblano ranch... it was soooo good. Also, it was split into two so that's not actually the size of it) 3. Clam Chowder (8/10) flavorful and tasty! 4. The Miso Glazed Cod (star of the show -- I normally don't give things 10/10, but I have to with this) 5. Upon entry, they checked my reservation and took us to a nice "half" booth that was super cozy. However, it's in the back and you don't really get a view. It's also quite dark out, so there's not much to see in the first place. For Valentine's Day, they have a set menu and you can choose your starter, soup/salad, entree, and dessert. Here are the list of what we ate: - amuse-bouche: spicy tuna tartlet: my husband said: "Tuna is tuna, but the crust is too thick." - starters: 1. salmon gravlax rose: the presentation is beautiful, but we didn't realize the salmon is also raw. It was tender and had a hint of beet. 2. crab and cream croquettes: this one was delicious. The sauce was a bit sweet, but the croquettes were hot and full of crab meat at each bite. - soup/salad: clam chowder: this one is more standard, and I think it's hard to mess up clam chowder. - entrees: 1. lobster pasta: delicious pasta, but the portion is small. They do come with tons of lobster meat and a nice half-cooked egg for mixing. 2. duck a l'orange: The duck meat was juicy and tender, and the braised veggies were not overly cooked. The sauce has a hint of ginger, which may not be everyone's cup of tea though. - desserts: 1. lemon & ricotta cheesecake: It's great, but the texture is more crumbly than regular cheesecake (it's not as dense as NY cheesecake). I also like how it's more sour due to the lemon. 2. Washington apple tart: This is delicious, but it's also a safe choice. It comes with vanilla ice cream in a small dip dish, and it melts quickly. I enjoyed our meal, but it felt a bit rushed as the waiter removed our plates quite quickly after we finished our food. Don't get me wrong, he's a great worker and works hard, but I just felt a bit rushed. The restaurant also gave us a gift voucher to come back and use to get some cocktails, a piece of rose, and two chocolates to enjoy at home. We ate for around an hour, but the valet parking was expensive. I read reviews that it was $15+tax, but it's $20+tax now, and I believe they added a tip as well since they took $25 for parking. It's less of an issue, but I wish they could just say $25 instead of $20 plus tip LOL. The course menu was $125 per person, but they didn't add any duck maintenance fee or tip in advance. I saw a lot of people complain about the 5% duck maintenance fee in the reviews, so I wonder if they already added it to the price. read more
