Super cute spot, delicious food! I stopped here for lunch on a mini road trip and I was extremely impressed with the taste of my Market Salad! I added turkey on it and then also got an iced coffee! My only two issues with this place is the lack of seating and the lack of prices on any of the menus. I ended up spending $20 on the salad and coffee which isn't the worst, but I still wish I would've known the itemized prices. Worth the stop!

ARE YOU KIDDING ME THIS WAS AMAZING. I got the hot bird sandwich and it was to die for!!!! The interior is very small so it's first come, first serve if you want to get a seat. Highly recommend!!!!!

While checking out the farmers market on a Saturday morning in town, we decided to grab breakfast at Sissy's Cafe. I was recommended to check it out a previous time by an Airbnb host from a prior visit. The cafe has a small section of seating inside to the right of the register and an outside eating area just in front as well. They have the menu posted on boards outside of the cafe as well as on the wall inside. By the register they may post an extra items that are also possible options. They serve mostly sandwiches, wraps and smoothies at the spot. Lots of the menu options sounded very interesting that it was a tough choice what to grab since a lot of the options sounded so good. I grabbed the Jimmy Pesto which was eggs, avocado and pesto in a wrap. It was delicious, creamy and filling. I also grabbed the mango lassi which was good, but I would more call it a mango yogurt smoothie. The consistency is not as smooth as a lassi drink to equate to it, but overall the taste was refreshing. The staff was nice and got the food to us pretty quick. They also are very popular since we saw many groups come in and out while dining there. We definitely will come back again in the future.

Came for breakfast and the food was so gooood. The wait is worth it because the place is really cute. Service was friendly and would 100% come back.

I'm so happy I stumbled upon this gem. I got the vegan delight sandwich with turkey and cheddar and it was so refreshing, packed with flavor and definitely big enough to share. My friend got the southwest wrap and added some Of their hot sauce, it was also very tasty, a little heavier than my sandwich but overall I can't wait to come back! Service was also amazing and welcoming.

Sissy's is consistent! A good lunch spot right on north front street that has been a quality option for healthier sandwhich, salad, and breakfast options for me. Love the sweet potato wrap and I reallly enjoy their pesto. The smoothies are also aaaamazing. One of my favorite treats here is the almond butter cookie! Outdoor tables and a couple bar seats inside. Counter service, and sometimes does take a little on the longer side for food prep but I think the food is worth it.

We stopped off here while traveling through New York and it was excellent! The smoothies and juices were fresh. The wraps amazing. A cute little space to sit inside, with more seating outside to be in the sun with umbrellas for shade. So happy we stopped!

What can I say? I love the breakfast burritos at Sissy's so much that I had breakfast here everyday of my trip to Kingston. Day One I had the Southwestern with Bacon on a Gluten Free Wrap (Egg, Cheddar, Avocado, Salsa, Beans) with AquaVitea Kombucha in Hibiscus Ginger Lime. Totally delicious and honestly the only time I've had a gluten free breakfast burrito ANYWHERE and it rocked. It even had the beautiful lines from the panini press! Day 2 I had the Country Burrito on the Gluten Free Wrap (Eggs, Cheddar, Bacon and Cajun Potatoes) with the freshly squeezed OJ. The Country Burrito is my new favorite--a perfect, simple breakfast that I can't wait to order again on my next trip to Kingston. The OJ was a delicious accompaniment. The staff is taking every COVID precaution: masks inside for all and strongly encouraged for guests, only outdoor seating for now (for reference it is late October '21). So happy to support this business and to return after coming here in February 2020, right before the pandemic hit. Now my question is: what brand of gluten free tortillas do they use? Sissy's has seriously set the standard for breakfast burrito perfection and makes sure the gf crowd isn't missing out either! Amen.

We got the southwestern wrap and country wrap! The gluten-free wrap was great! And I never like gluten free attempts at breads and tortillas... Except Siete the best gluten-free tortillas ever! I also got some sort of a juice I think or a smoothie I can't remember but it was really good. And the place is cute and there's a secret map of Kingston in the bathroom that I'm sure is outdated but it literally has like phone numbers and everything and it was hand drawn and it reminded me of like shit we had to do before the Internet. Eat your food take a dump look at the map get to know Kingston!!!

I wanted to grab a quick bite and decided to stop here. Had the country wrap (it comes with a small salad) and a coffee. The food came out fast, hot, and delicious! The wrap was fairly large and a good serving for anyone. The staff was very nice and friendly too =) Would recommend to anyone! read more

My breakfast salad could have fed me for two meals. It came stacked tall with fresh greens, a fried egg, tomato, purple cabbage, avocado plus more inventive ingredients like tempeh bacon and grilled sauerkraut. Good dressing too. And, a good value. My friend was pleased with her massive salad as well. A casual spot with prompt, friendly service right in the downtown strip. This would be a go to lunch spot for me if I lived/worked in the area. read more

I have to agree with the other reviewer who said that these are the best breakfast sandwiches in the entire area. There literally is nowhere else whose egg sandwiches are as good. Period. Full-stop. The staff are friendly, the baked goods are freshly made and delicious (I have a particular soft spot for their chocolate chip cookies, but it may help that the last two times I brought some home with me, they were still warm and soft and slightly gooey in all the right places). read more

Sissy's just opened so a review is perhaps a bit premature. However, if the enthusiasm and friendliness of the two sisters (hence the name) are any indication of future success, this place will be around for a long time. Organic, fair-trade coffee from Dean's Beans (Mass.), free range eggs, organic fruit smoothies and many interesting breakfast/lunch items. I only had a coffee and egg/cheese sandwich, both were delicious. Uptown Kingston has a lot of good food options these days (Duo, YumYum Noodle Bar, Hudson Coffee Traders, etc.) so, I hope Sissy's can find a niche, blend in and become part of the scene read more

We stopped in looking for a comforting breakfast and that is just what we found. The server was bubbly and accommodating, our food and drinks came to the table promptly, and we both LOVED our meals. I tried the turkey bacon avocado panini without the bacon. It was so good. The turkey gave it a smoked flavor. I also has the mango tango smoothie. It was refreshing and delicious. I would post a photo but they're both gone. read more

Normally they are pretty good. Today I waited for my juice for so long I had to leave to go back to work. They sent the wrong drink with my husband. When he pointed out it was wrong they said it was basically the same thing. I ordered a green juice, this was brown. When I called them to say it was wrong and contained beets which I can't eat the girl was short with me. For the amount of money a small drink costs I was really shocked that she didn't offer to redo it or give me what I actually paid for. Instead I had to just throw it away and waste the money. read more

Don't let the low key atmosphere fool you. This is a solid lunch staple (my folks loved the BLT) with healthy conscious offerings as well. I had the vegan tempeh wrap and it was absolutely delicious as well as HUGE. I ate every last bit of it. There's a reason it's consistently busy all day long: not many places like this where you feel like you're having a homemade meal, just better! Don't miss the smoothies, they're delicious and have the usual add-ons up on the board not to be missed. read more

Sissys is bright and cheerful with a friendly and competent staff. The menu is a bit limited and tends not to change often, but I'm content sitting in the sunny window with a decent breakfast and cup of coffee. A nice addition to uptown Kingston. read more

Come for lunch and don't miss the amazing smoothies!!! Sissy's rocks the uptown Kingston lunch scene which seems to be growing constantly! Always a good choice. They have an eclectic mix of food with many healthy and vegetarian choices, which is becoming more and more prevalent in an area that used to be very "meaty". And they don't sacrifice flavor for health, which is often tricky. read more

Sissy-where have you been all my life? A perfect place for lunch. I had the best panini: Roast Beef, Blue Cheese and Grilled Onions toasted to perfection. For dessert I had the Peanut Butter/Chocolate Chip Cookie and my partner had the Chocolate with Sea Salt. Amazing smoothie as well, can't wait for my next lunch in Kingston. A great little place in the Stockade District to grab some breakfast or a sandwich. We opted for sandwiches as it was lunchtime when we arrived. They offer standard cold cuts but also unique/gourmet sandwiches which are yummy. To be honest, the multi-grain bread stole the show. They also offer baked goods, but we didn't partake. The server was very friendly. The only reason I didn't award a fifth star was the seating was a bit cramped and the inside could use a little freshening up. All-in-all, a very solid choice for a great sandwich in Kingston at reasonable prices. read more

EXCELLENT!! Very friendly staff with fast service. I tried the soup of the day - it was a curried lentil soup. My husband and 4-yr-old (who are not lentil soup kinda guys) ended up eating most of it. I should have ordered a big bowel. It was sooo good! I also had Heaven's wrap - aptly named! I truly was in heaven! I never get too excited about lunch wraps, but it was the BEST wrap I've ever had. My meat-eater husband said he should have ordered the same thing, even though his hot bird wrap was pretty darn good too. The food was substantial and well-priced. We didn't order fresh juice (we were stuffed!) but did notice the price was so much better than NYC price. Next time I'm in Kingston, I will definitely go back to try other stuff. read more

I just moved to Kingston and stopped in here for a quick lunch. The food was SOO tasty. I had a bowl of roasted root veggie soup and Sonny's Sandwich, with a small draft of turmeric kombucha, and I left feeling full and totally satisfied. Looking forward to lots of lunches at Sissy's! read more

Only decent egg sandwich I have found between Woodstock and New Paltz. They actually grill their eggs, (as opposed to microwave), don't over cook eggs, use fresh hard rolls and American Cheese--pretty much the only way to go for a basic egg sandwich. I look forward to my visits to farmer's market so that I can treat myself to Sissy's! Sweet staff, fast service. read more

I stopped in here on my way home from camping in the Catskills, looking for coffee and a treat for the drive back to Long Island. The coffee is great, they offer decaf and several regular options as well as a variety of milks, including organic almond. I had a soft and delicious gluten-free and nut-free blueberry muffin- it tasted like a less sweet but just as tasty Drake's Cake! I love this place! It's great that they have options for everyone- meat, vegan, vegetarian, organic. It's really gorgeous inside and the two owners are super friendly and helpful. I have to say that when I walked in, I immediately felt at home. The environment is so warm and lovely, one can't help but be comfortable! And, the food is simple, fresh, and absolutely delicious. My favorite item is the Maker's Salad, which comes with lettuce, arugula, carrots, avocado, sprouts, an egg, and tempeh. Their smoothies are also to die for. Overall, just lovely! I highly recommend this place to anyone, as I said before, it is a place where everyone can find something yummy to eat! Well done, Sissy's. read more

LOVE this place (and to be honest, I'm writing this in conjunction with a few family members in the room). Food is great and reasonable priced. Service is always excellent. We LOVE that the coffee is serve yourself because who loves an overbearing coffee pourer or waiting for said coffee pourer?! I wish more places did this. Also the on-tap kombucha is wonderful. These guys seriously have the best gluten free pizza in the area. The crust is chewy and crunchy and made in house. It's not at all like Gf pizza I've had at other places that have that nasty, out of the freezer, cardboard flavor. Their pizza doesn't make me feel like I'm missing out on anything, especially with all the topping options. With a glass of wine, I'm in gluten free heaven. Super yum! read more
