Still awesome 2 years later. Got a Tex Mex Salad special, it was very good. Co-workers got a crab cake sammy (looked good an they confirmed it was) and a Mediterranean Plate, which looked totally awesome I was jealous of it. Notes- Seating is limited Call ahead if you are in a rush

I had a lunch made by Stone soup at the master gardeners event out at SUNY Ulster. They bagged lunches for 150 people there was no confusion everyone got what they were intended to get it was amazing plus it tasted delicious. So much so that we decided to have them cater sandwiches for an event we were having here at the shop the next week. They made that's fantastic sandwiches cut them in quarters and delivered them on a Sunday so we didn't have to run into Kingston it was extremely helpful and really delicious sandwiches all went, the last one was given to the last arriver at the party. And it was still fresh and delicious and hit the spot perfectly for him. Thank you for running a great business and being so helpful and supportive to me running a great business.

The menu changes daily and is adaptable to gluten or meat. Soups are great. We enjoy every time we have taken time to visit. Thanks

They had a good amount of seating (including both in the coffee area as well as surrounding the books). The service was friendly and they had a really good variety of books to choose from. I'd come here all the time if I lived close by.

It's located on such a charming street, and stepping inside felt like walking into an elevated Barnes & Noble straight out of a Harry Potter movie. There are endless shelves of books across every genre, cozy seating throughout, and the perfect atmosphere to spend hours browsing or reading. The coffee was just as wonderful as the space. I wasn't sure what to order, so the barista recommended a drink and was incredibly accommodating with my many requests. I can't have too much milk or syrup, so I basically gave them a complicated custom order, and they made it exactly to my liking without hesitation. I also ended up buying one of the chocolate bars they had at the counter and turns out it was $20!!!! As a tourist, I had no idea it was a well known local chocolate brand with a factory nearby, so that was a fun surprise. This is the kind of place that makes you want to slow down. I'd love to come back, grab a coffee, spend the entire afternoon reading, and just soak in the comforting smell of books and fresh coffee. Such a cozy, magical spot that's well worth visiting!

Their handmade drinks are quite good, and the coffee is well pulled. Strong without any bitterness. I haven't tried the food yet, but they sounded good so I'll have to go back. Oh, there's a bathroom in the antique shop. It's clean. Should I just go around reviewing public bathrooms lol? I was told that you can use the U driveway up front as a kind of drive thru? But there is parking on the antique shop side. It's a great location because you can walk around the shop while you wait for your drink - they have a cool selection if a variety of antiques. For quick in and outs to grab coffee, you can pull into the wrap around driveway, or there is additional parking in the back. Every single drink on the menu is made to perfection and you can really taste the quality of the ingredients used. Some ingredients are made in haus! Anthony is the heart and soul behind the carefully curated Arios Coffeehaus. He is always welcoming and very friendly. We also love when his mom is filling in for him! The vibe is very classy, easy going and makes me feel like I'm in a little Italian cafe. My favorite drink is the midnight coconut. Collectively between myself, my boyfriend, and cousin we have tried every drink on the menu and every one of them hits the spot every time. We love the loyalty cards and make sure we always have ours in the car. This is my favorite coffee spot ever so far. I love the emphasis on local here. You can't help but to be aware of all the love and care that is continually poured into Arios. The key to your success will be to always remember that love and intention are the secret ingredients to anything good in life. Thank you for every wonderful visit!

The waitresses are great and attentive. They have complimentary buttered bread which was a great starter. We ordered from their specials menu starting with the famous meatball and cacio e Pepe with mushrooms and a Gorgonzola pasta. It was probably some of the best Italian food I've ever had. The meatball was amazing, words cannot describe it and the pastas were perfect with handmade noodles and the mushrooms just melted in your mouth. The portions were generous and they had great wine pairings available. Highly highly recommend. We texted to make a reservation which was very easy.

The restaurant layout is a little eccentric, but cute in a erratic way. There was the restaurant, an alcove, and a back patio. We sat in the alcove. We ordered the fresh made pasta with tomato and basil. That was very soft and the five year old ate up the half portion. (By the way they do have half portions.) We ordered the lamb ragu, which was very hearty and filling. I also ordered the pasta with seafood, which had heaping amounts of seafood. I think all were pretty fairly priced, considering the quality. The waitress we had was amazing. She helped us get our kid settled and knew exactly what she needed. She made some great suggestions and was overall the best. Great place!

The food is tasty, good portions, very clean and appealing interior and varied menu with lots of interesting breakfast options. Service was good. The experience both times was fine. They have put substantial effort and resources into this place, with nice lighting, desert displays, and bright, large laminated menus with nice pictures and descriptions. The issue was the after effects of eating the food. Both times I had negative stomach/ digestive problems for several days and nights after eating at the Arango Cafe. Without going into too much detail, I suffered substantial discomfort and would go as far as describing it as an illness requiring repeated visits and time spent in the bathroom. I suspect that it has to do with the shortening, or perhaps lard that is being used. Both times I had the flan (custard dessert), so perhaps that was an issue. Other than that, I ate enchiladas in green sauce, and a beef burrito. So while I enjoyed the food and ambiance, I will not be returning to the Arango. Cafe.
