A little quaint gem (a bit eclectic) that serves comfort foods in a friendly atmosphere. Their menu consists of various chicken sandwiches (fried, grilled or cauliflower), burgers, all day breakfast, soups and salads. We enjoyed the Figgy chicken sandwich (fig jam, plentiful greens, cheese and chicken, bun could have been better quality) with salad (pretty fresh), and the Caesar chicken sandwich with fries. The server (owner?) was very friendly and explained the menu, saying specifically that the chicken sandwiches are made to order. There were only two other occupied tables on a Saturday afternoon and the food took a little while to come out (not very bad but not super fast). It also seems like a place that should be crowded but wasn't. Coffee was self service. They also had a pumpkin pie in a plastic container (didn't look homemade) in the front. We stopped in for a late lunch on Saturday and had an overall awesome experience. The menu not massive was still very extensive with so many options and varieties to choose from, definitely will be back to make our way through the variety of sandwiches. Our waitress was very nice, really chill, checked in once but if we had flagged her over I'm sure she would have been attentive more but we just didn't need anything. We ordered two different versions of their chicken sandwiches and they both were amazing! I ordered the club and substituted out for the Big Mac sauce, it was ridiculously delicious! The owner/chef I believe came over after our food was served which was really nice to check in and offered some future suggestions that we'll be sure to take her up on. The food was cooked to order, super fresh and a lot of details that made it a perfect bite! Cute place with a variety of seating options, the old brick work pops through in some places which adds a really nice historic charm to the place. Cute little place where you can get your own coffee and the menu is pretty diverse. I was impressed with their sandwiches because they have a lot of interesting combos. Metered street parking is available. The crack and mac is excellent. The sauce was described and sweet and spicy, but not spicy at all. Portions are generous. All sandwiched come with fries or onion rings and man, do they hook it up with the onion rings! We liked trying this new to us brunch spot in Kingston! Definitely has a humble homey feeling in the space and the food gives heavy comfort (aka food coma) vibes as well. Service was lovely. We tried the wings to start and while I understand the hype in the crack sauce (yummmmm), we really disliked the Buffalo hot wings. The Buffalo sauce was thick and almost like a tomato sauce? It wasn't our cup of tea personally but definitely heavy on the sauce which I always appreciate. I had a French toast flight with 4 flavors: strawberry shortcake, s'mores, Cinnamon Toast Crunch and pb+j. HUUUge portion size and super sweet/decadent but I think the only flavor profile that was super special/unique and not just topping placed on regular French toast was s'mores. The crack Mac chicken sandwich was my favorite. Everything tasted good and was well seasoned.

I liked the vibe, decor, location, and music, and while our server was very sweet and attentive, unfortunately both the coffee and food were underwhelming. The iced coffee was only about 2/3 full in a tiny glass and the breakfast BLT didn't taste fresh. Hopefully just an off day! read more

Urban Fork has great potential. After trying it a few times I feel they fall flat on a few vital points. Let's start with brunch: it's brunch so coffee is crucial. Here it's self serve. That would be fine but the "self serve"coffee station in a random corner looks like something that would be in a cheap AIRBNB with literally a 29.99 dollar coffee maker you can buy at Walmart. At 4 bucks a cup I am not mad if I drink a few cups but seriously I am out for brunch. Step up your coffee game. As for the brunch menu. It's good but for the price point it's definitely not as large of a portion as many other places in the area that serve a similar style of food. Some unique French Toast options like "fruity pebbles" or "PB'&J" and classics like chicken & waffles are as good as they sound. The Dinner Menu: a bit pricey as well. They should also call it the "greasy fork" instead. This isn't a knock. Almost everything is fried, just full of cheese or some form of fatty deliciousness. They do have salads but seriously...don't go here for salad. They have a "crack" sauce for their chicken and various other dishes and I do enjoy it with the mac & cheese. Overall I do enjoy the food here and while the price point is higher than other comparable small restaurants in the area it's not outrageously overpriced. Service can also be on the slower side as well. Not by fault of the actual employees but I have only seen 3 people at the most working and for a full service restaurant that's not nearly enough if a few tables are full. read more

I've been wanting to try this place for a while. My husband and I finally went and really liked it! The owner who is a sweetheart, came over and answered any questions we might have about the menu. She gave me some crack sauce to try and it was yummy! I personally am not easy to please because I love to cook, am a former personal chef, so I'm pretty picky. We started out by having Empanadas. YUM....You get two, so we got one chicken and one beef. They came with a dipping sauce and they were really good! So was the sauce. We both got a chicken sandwich. i got the figgy jam and my husband got the carribean with mango slaw. I don't usually finish a sandwich, but this was really tasty! They offer gluten free and vegetarian options including g impossible burgers and super awesome cauliflower sandwiches! And, holy crap! They make a delicious caesar salad dressing! We walked in at around 2:00 pm to an empty restaurant and we asked if they were open and they were! We had a lovely time with our waitress who's name I didn't get but she gets 5 stars as well. The menu was small but was basically chicken sandwiches, a shrimp sandwich, wings, and a few salads. Our wonderful server gave us a sheet with the explanation of each sandwich. Wow! It was varied and went from plain (for all you chicken originalists) to unusual (Figgy Chicken). They have a drink menu as well as soft drinks. I ordered the Crack Chicken Sandwich (fried chicken piece dipped in their special batter and fried, aoli, lettuce and tomato. It also comes with fries or onion rings. My husband ordered 12 wings. 6 with apple/maple and 6 with mild buffalo. No sides came with his but I never eat all mine so we'd share. Our drinks came right away with waters. I ordered a glass of Ecco Domaine Rose and hubby ordered Dead Rabbit ale. Both were excellent. About 15 minutes later our meals arrived and our eyes popped! Husband had 12 hearty wings divided into two bowls. Mine was a nice sized sandwich with the fries. We were both pretty impressed! My chicken was not overcooked and the crack sauce was heavenly! Not spicy but definitely has a kick of garlic. Fries were perfect-spiced a bit. The wings must have been really good because I didn't hear a word from my husband until he was done! AVOID! The server appeared to have never waited on a table in her life. Overpriced, mediocre at best. The cook could not have been less interested. My girlfriend had the Caesar salad. Only lettuce and some grated cheese. I think it was 15 bucks, worth about $8 tops. I had the bean burger. No taste, boring, and to add insult to injury served on the most cheapest bun that was so flavorless, breaking apart while eating it. I would not serve this to a homeless person. There are better buns at Dollar Store, for crying out loud. I see many positive reviews posted for this place. I'm glad you all liked it. There are many nice restaurants in Kingston. The menu did not have prices and I was not asked how I would like the big daddy burger, when they brought it out the fries were undercooked and the burger was over cooked and there was no sauce on the burger and the Mac and cheese that came on top of the burger had zero flavor.
