    Duck fat fries
    Cibi A.

Stopped in on a Friday night for dinner with little kids. The complimentary duck fat fries with aioli is a great way to start the meal. The drinks was delicious, I had something with gin and blackberry I think. The kids meals are a great value (under 10 bucks). The mushroom pasta, ahi tuna mains were tasty as well. General tsos cauliflower was crispy and flavorful. I would definitely stop by again if in the area.

Great place for lunch or dinner - great decor! Service is stellar. The staff is attentive and the food is HOT! Great drinks both cocktails and mocktails. Fish and chips - 3.5 out of 5 (fish was perfect with a touch of rosemary) fries were not great. Brickman burger - 4 out of 5 (def get) Short rib dumplings - 4.5 out of 5 This place is awesome. Upscale pub food and I am fan of how they are putting their flavors together! Overall, great experience and will be back.

This was my second time coming here. The service was top notch! Atmosphere was perfect. I loved the theme and back story of the restaurant's decor. The back area was decorated for the season. Although I only had a burger and fries this time, we all had different entree items. And there were no complaints! (Salmon, corn casserole soufflé, Mac and cheese, steak, etc.) Everything was amazing! All of the staff working were so friendly. I will definitely be back to try their brunch.

First time eating here and their food did not disappoint! Table comes with complimentary duck fat fries and aioli which is a new one for me! Very good we had to order more lol. Their drinks could be stronger for the price tho... It's nice inside; u can sit at the bar, tables by the bar or the dining room. The kitchen is out in the open too which is nice to see. Their food was delicious. I really enjoyed it I think next time I have to try their desserts. The only thing is that some of their portions were a little skimpy especially for the price since it's not cheap here lol. Our waitress was a sweetheart!! Would def return again.

Fantastic spot on a super cute street in Kingston. The restaurant is very modern and nicely decorated, the food is delicious, the drinks are perfectly poured, and the prices are reasonable. This was my second time coming here and I had a beautifully presented (strong) espresso martini and grilled shrimp tacos that were bursting with flavor. I was there with six other people and everyone was very happy with their meals. One person even said it was one of the best sandwiches she has ever had. Service was quick and our waitress was very attentive. This will definitely be a go to spot when I'm in the area and I'm excited to try out more of their menu.

The place is hopping on a Friday night and we're so glad we have reservations. The drinks are delicious and did I mention that instead of a free bread basket, we got free fries. That is a win and delicious. Everyone loved their meal. I got the fried chicken with the corn Brulé and it was piping hot and delicious. I would definitely get it again. The braised ribs with cavatelli also looked delicious and maybe next time I'll get that. The waitstaff was great and accommodating. They checked on us enough but not too much. They also were able to turn down the music which was great because we couldn't hear each other talk. The dishes a little pricey but was worth it because it was good and nice and hot to the table.

Through process of elimination of other people in my party, I figured out that I've gotten shellfish poisoning from these oysters. Maybe don't get the $1 oysters that aren't near a body of water in a small town. I'm never touching oysters again.

Stopped in Kingston to look around the town and wandered by Brickmen Kitchen. It was a cool little place with half of the establishment being the bar and half the restaurant. They had a strong drinks menu and a diverse food menu. Started with a Cloudy Peach drink from the bar and then ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich at the recommendation of our server. There was an initial kick to the sandwich but not overwhelming. It also came with their fries. The fries were great, a bit of a dark cook on them, which is fantastic for me. My wife got the Mediterranean Salad. The dressing was flavorful and the salad was great without any added protein.

They drew us in with Stevie Wonder's 'As' and at the end of our Brunch, we got Taylor Swift with a hodgepodge mix of teeny-bopper tunes at this spot on Front St in Kingston. But we were also here because after noticing the dreadful line at our newfound bakery a few doors down, this, seemed like a good fit. The interior (bar area where we sat) strives to wow you: it's new, walls done in greyish tones, bar counter is done in a marble granite(?) that seems endless and a striking, exposed brick wall. Our Bellinis were a major letdown- instead of more bubbly, that sucker packed more peach purée than anything else. My shashuka was another failure- edges were dried and the eggs, lacked juiciness, a runny yolk and Middle Eastern flavors the dish is known for. The entire dish was a dried mess of Tex-mex flavors. Hubs liked his waffle and I did too; the whipped cream slathered on it, was a bit different instead of just a dollop. Hubs expected "thick bacon"- but what he got were like 4 pieces of the regular kind at $5. Kudos for bringing a nice-on-the-eyes restaurant with warm service. The hostess was pleasant and so was our server, Noemi. I'm not sure I can regard Brickmen as a culinary paradise. Between flavor combinations, presentation and quality, we were stunned.

Second time I came here. Burgers are awesome! Good craft beer selection. Stop by if you're in Kingston NY. You will not be disappointed. Thumbs up

Amazing food, wonderful service, and an interesting layout - this place is a great value for your money in Kingston. They have unique menu items that you won't find elsewhere. Duck fat fries, General Tso's crispy chicken sandwich, sushi tacos, and fun mocktails, to name a few. At the core it is a tradition American fare menu with Brickmen's added creative flair. Overall the experience was awesome. Our waitress Alexis was great! Here are my notes: - food took a while from ordering to getting to table - duck fat fries were good but felt like they could be crispier (we believe they make them ahead and reheat them) - vanilla earl grey blackberry mocktail tasted like a candle (it was just very sweet - up to you if you're into it) - the host stand being at the back of the place when you walk in was awkward to get to! the bar and tables were filled so you had to squeeze through everyone. - food was high quality, chicken and beef burger were both great

They had a good amount of seating (including both in the coffee area as well as surrounding the books). The service was friendly and they had a really good variety of books to choose from. It's located on such a charming street, and stepping inside felt like walking into an elevated Barnes & Noble straight out of a Harry Potter movie. There are endless shelves of books across every genre, cozy seating throughout, and the perfect atmosphere to spend hours browsing or reading. The coffee was just as wonderful as the space. I wasn't sure what to order, so the barista recommended a drink and was incredibly accommodating with my many requests. I can't have too much milk or syrup, so I basically gave them a complicated custom order, and they made it exactly to my liking without hesitation. I also ended up buying one of the chocolate bars they had at the counter and turns out it was $20!!!! As a tourist, I had no idea it was a well known local chocolate brand with a factory nearby, so that was a fun surprise. This is the kind of place that makes you want to slow down. I'd love to come back, grab a coffee, spend the entire afternoon reading, and just soak in the comforting smell of books and fresh coffee. Such a cozy, magical spot that's well worth visiting!
