Cool place to come for happy hour. It's weekdays 2 to 7 and Saturday 12 to 7 and all day Sunday. The deal is $5 margs, wells, beers and wines. They also have a $20 8 taco platter and a $22 sampler platter. Ally was our server and she was awesome. The tacos were small but good. One complaint is that the taco shells are so thin (which is normally good imo) but the sauce made them a bit flimsy. Nothing was overly spicy. When you sit they give you tortillas to have with salsa and honey butter which I thought was weird but was actually pretty tasty. The outdoor seating is nice but if you're too close to the door is a bit slanted to try to get closer to the middle of the block. Came here last night with my cousins (my cousin had passed many times to/from work) Kind of disappointed we couldn't get HH except in the bar area, and then the host sat us literally next to "bar" booth. We ordered drinks: my mojito was not the best, probably made with a pre made mix. My cousin was content with her margarita, and the other said the amaretto sour was OK. started with the street corn and patas bravas. Street corn was pretty bland, but not bad. The potato's weren't what we expected - they were baby potato slices baked. (don't get if expecting fried potato's) For dinner, I got the combo, 1 carnita taco and the chicken taquitos. The chicken taquitos were small but so flavorful and good. Carnita taco was good, but didn't finish as we ate a lot. Meat was SUPER tender. One cousin got the shrimp fajitas- DELICIOUS, and the other chicken quesadilla and said it was good. Dessert we got the tres leaves and some caramel delish- DELICIOUS but so sweet. They have a brunch menu available on the weekends so my friend and I came here for lunch. We had a reservation and were quickly seated. I ordered the Machaca Wrap Ahogada and my friend ordered the Breakfast Torta. The servings were pretty large so we were really full after our finishing our dishes. The servers were very attentive to refilling our glasses of water and would constantly check up on us. They give a free starter which are tortilla wraps and some sauces. The best thing was probably the chips and salsa that comes for free. The tacos were mediocre, with the tortilla (?flour) being very chewy, and filling single profiled in taste. The nachos were mediocre, soggy. The yuca fries were decent, though there were a total of 5 pieces for $9. The pork chop was $34 just for one pork chop without any sides, and tasted like there was just in Buffalo sauce. The margaritas were weak and overly sweet. All in all, do not recommend. read more

This is a pretty good Mexican restaurant. I came here the other day for lunch with a group of coworkers. We were seated promptly and started with guacamole which they prepare at the table. It was fresh and flavorful and tasted very good in the soft tortillas they brought to the table. Our group ordered a number of things from the fajitas to fish tacos to enchiladas and the salmon. Nobody had any complaints, which is always good. The only comment I have is that it was more expensive that I expected for a Mexican restaurant at a little over $30 per plate. read more

Second time I came to this Mexican restaurant with colleagues and it's once again a very good experience. Very well located on the 3rd avenue in Manhattan and easily accessible by subway, this place is quite classy inside and very well decorated, it really gives a good first impression. Then, the staff is very helpful, which is nice, they serve you some tortillas with two different sauces to wait for the dishes. I had taken the "salmon in lemon butter sauce" for $32 and I was very satisfied with this dish. For drinks, I had a Cadillac margarita for $15, which is quite reasonable in price. I will come back to this restaurant without hesitation, the quality of the service and the food is really good! I recommend it! read more

I came here for a work dinner with a group of 10 people on a Wednesday night. The place was large and can accommodate large groups. We ordered tableside guacamole, chips, and spicy margaritas to start. The guacamole was fresh and I always like when they make it tableside. The spicy margaritas were strong and had a good kick. I also ordered the shrimp diabla entree and the fruit flautas dessert. The shrimp was freshly grilled and I liked the achiote sauce. The fruit flautas was surprisingly not greasy and filled with fruit. Service was a bit lacking though, not very attentive and we had to ask for things multiple times even though we were a big group. My spouse and I discovered Sinigual on 9/10/25 while looking for a nice dinner spot on our way home around 6:30 pm. What a pleasant surprise this turned out to be! The restaurant has a lovely ambiance, though the music was a bit loud when we first arrived. Fortunately, we were seated toward the back where it was much quieter and more conducive to conversation. Our waitress Karla Z. was absolutely exceptional, friendly, personable, and full of great recommendations. Since this was our first visit, her willingness to guide us through the menu really enhanced our experience. The entire staff was welcoming and attentive. Both entrees exceeded our expectations. I ordered the salmon and asked to substitute vegetables for the potatoes, Karla's suggestion was spot on. The salmon was served over a bed of perfectly grilled asparagus and broccoli rabe that were both flavorful and fresh. My spouse's ribeye was cooked to perfection with asparagus on the side. for desert, we had the chocolate flan brûlée, it was a delightful surprise unlike any flan we've had before, and paired beautifully with excellent coffee. While we don't drink alcohol anymore, our cranberry and seltzer was refreshing, and the cocktail menu looked impressive for those who do. We're already planning to return with our dinner group and will specifically request to sit in Karla's section. Sinigual delivered exactly the kind of quality dining experience we always hope for. I discovered (thanks to my boyfriend) that I really love a good Mexican spot (I think I convinced myself it's the healthiest, lol). It was SO good and such a cute restaurant. The Shrimp Diablo was & the Guac was bomb. They make it in front of you, so you get to decide on how spicy you want it or not. My table thankfully likes it hot, like me :). Love! I have an entire new appreciation for tequila thanks to our server Andrea C. I actually thought I wasn't a tequila person until I came to Sinigual. We mostly explored the drink menu, which was delicious (even the house tequila was flavorful), but options off the appetizer menu were also delicious. Walked in on a busy Wednesday evening with a friend and boy, must I say that I thought we'd be stuck waiting in front like a few folks that were waiting before us. I went right in, asked the host that I didn't have reservation and I would like a table for two. She was super kind and helpful in getting us the table for two. Exceptional service right here! As for the food, the food was 10/10 given that taste was spot on with the steak fajitas I had. Presentation was also spot on. I'd say come real hungry in order to enjoy it as they seem large in portions for the price. Will I come back? Additionally, I really enjoy that they are one of few restaurants that still give complimentary chips and salsa and both of their salsas are excellent. Sadly, after the amount of money I have spent here (and they are well over priced for what you get), I continue to receive not great service including that from the managers. I used to thoroughly enjoy this place and will continue periodically go to see if the service has improved, but I'm not hopeful. I hate to do this but this place was really silly.... we came here because we were sucked in by their signage that read $5 margs. Seemingly a good deal but they were pretty sugary and not so sure there was much alcohol in there. I was extremely hungry and wanted their appetizer nachos. Typically when I order that size at other restaurants it's definitely enough for two people, if not more. Also safe to assume since the appetizer was priced at $18. Our waiter suggested we order the size up for $20 since I explained I was hangry af. We were confused why this would be so much better since it was only $2 more... but we trusted him. Once the waiter placed this on the table I almost burst out laughing. THE NACHOS ARE INDIVIDUAL CHIPS WITH THE TOPPINGS ON EACH! I think that means we paid roughly $2 per chip?! Very annoying. Our waiter and staff were all very nice. The outdoor seating was also pleasant. Unfortunately I have to give this place such a low rating due to the fact that this dish is wildly overpriced and should probably be named something different. read more

No water refills, no extra utensils even after asking a few times. Hostess new, couldn't answer questions. There weren't that many people and the service was abysmally slow. Asked for check a few times before finally getting it. Ordered dessert, didn't come. Finally asked for check because we wanted out of there. 1.5 hour dinner for 4 ppl, awful service. Pluses: food decent. Had the starter sampler, carnitas, tomato soup, fish tacos, enchiladas. Carnitas not great. Ribs of starter sampler good. Sweet corn bread good. Outside decorations nice Service is a disaster. There isn't one waiter/waitress assigned to your table so you essentially have no one. Just pleadingly flagging people down hoping someone comes back. Attempted to speak to manager after. No one to be found. No one at the front. read more

When we inquired about the pronunciation and meaning of the name, the general manager visited our table to chat. The food here is excellent. My stars are mostly related to the food. Everything is well prepared and the portions are huge. My family had planned on ordering the tableside guacamole, but then forgot. We were glad we hadn't because our main courses were more than enough food. Despite the portions we ate it all because it was delicious. Here is the part I don't like. Noise levels were awful. Given its midtown location near Grand Central, it's a popular after-work spot and the crowds are plentiful. The acoustics of the restaurant do little to absorb the noise. On top of that, the place was too warm. (The bathrooms were unbearably hot.) Service was friendly, but a tad uneven. Some drink orders were messed up and we had to ask twice for things at times. We did have management (I presume) check in on us more than once and they were helpful with aiding a disabled member of the party with a wheelchair. If there are nights when this place is less crowded, I would come back, but the noise and heat levels were too much otherwise. read more

Soooo! The chips were good, and that's about it. The place was pretty empty (that should of been the first sign), although we came on a Sunday evening. We were a large party of 11. Our drink orders kept getting mixed up, and the recommendations were horrible. The waiter raved about the watermelon margaritas it was horrible. I ordered the Pineapple one, also horrible, the food was mediocre. Definitely not authentic Mexican it lacked flavor. I ordered the combo meal taquitos and chile relleno. The Chile was bland and the taquitos sauce tasted like thousand island. It was not good. Don't come here. It's overpriced and not good. read more
