I found this place while on the search for a breakfast sandwich and I'm glad I did. Mrs Marie was nice and the food was great. The inside is a 30 min limit to eat at the table once you receive your food due to the space. The wait wasn't too long for my order. The portions are plentiful and you will not leave this place hungry! I will be back!

I have been meaning to stop by Simply Marie's for a while now, but every time I'm in the area they're already closed. Today I made it in time! I called in my order and the guy on the phone was very helpful explaining the different options. We decided to split the "Flexxilicious" with home fries and the French toast with turkey sausage. He told me my order would be ready in 25 minutes and by the time I pulled up, it was already in a bag ready to go! I'd heard how legendary the home fries are so I started with those and they definitely lived up to the hype! The omelette and French toast was delicious as well. I can't wait to go back to have that again and try other things on the menu.

If you're looking for an incredible diner-style breakfast, literally look no further than Simply Marie's. We found it via Google. We wanted something delicious but low-key since we were dealing with impending hangovers. And, boy, did this place DELIVER! Very unassuming inside. Do not let this deter you! I went with the breakfast quesadilla and a side of breakfast potatoes. Let me tell you...that quesadilla was STACKED! It's thick AF and it was perfect. I was also given the option of like 5 or 6 different types of tortillas for my quesadilla--nice touch. And those breakfast potatoes... here's the thing, I usually prefer my breakfast potatoes to be crispy. So I saw these and I was a little sus...not gonna lie. But OMG are these the best seasoned breakfast potatoes I think I've ever had in my life. And the PORTION SIZE...woah. I ate 1/3 of the quesadilla and a few bites of the potatoes. Make sure you're coming in HUNGRY. I'm pretty sure this will feed me for 3 meals. My bf got the French toast with scrambled eggs and bacon. I asked him for his assessment and he said, "It was all amazing. I don't have time to think of a witty review." Thank goodness he has me. Anyway, my bf was deciding between the pancakes and french toast...the guy working said the french toast was the way to go. I didn't try it but my bf was absolutely raving about how delicious they were. I did try the bacon though and that was perfectly crispy. I noticed that they also have sausage gravy and biscuits. I will certainly be back for those soon. Oh and there were a ton of omelette options. It's going to be a tough call on what I order next time tbh.

Chicken and waffle , corned beef with egg , shrimp and crab omelette

What a pleasant tiny shop! With a few tables outside, we were able to enjoy a wonderful brunch outside. The food was solid: the chicken and waffle had extra crispy chicken that was probably the best I've had in Baltimore so far . The waffle was soft and effectively melts in your mouth. Unfortunately it takes 25 mins for this. And it definitely is worth it if you have the time The shrimp and crab omelette was the top contender in our brunch. It quickly disappeared and they provided a healthy amount of shrimp and crab. It comes with some toast and we upgraded to include biscuit and gravy. The biscuit was not as soft as I would have preferred yet still delicious when adding the sausage gravy (talk about good for your soul). Finally the corned beef hash - honestly I can't review this fairly since I'm not a fan of corned beef in general. The home fries are their potatoes which were a great and well seasoned. Will be back for their sandwiches

Looking forward to another great breakfast!

It has been a while since I had Simply Marie's. I love home-style cooking. The portions are good, and you will crave a nap after a full plate. The pancakes are the main attraction. They are fluffy, moist, and very cake-like. Beware, they are filling. Unless you really can put food away, you will have one leftover. As a bacon lover, I am sad. This bacon deserves 1 star for a poor attempt if solely based on bacon. I can tell this was a rush job. Parts of strips are crispy while parts are ... Next time, if there is a next time, it will be pancakes only for me.

I am sad to write this review. I had such high hopes before coming here. I searched for a restaurant that served downhome breakfast and found Simply Marie's. Came here and ordered a typical breakfast, nothing fancy but food was less than subpar. The potatoes were cooked unevenly and for overall was just . . . . good I would get from a relatives house who is known for not being able to cook; best I can describe. There is room for so much easy improvement. They did have a case with muffins and quick grabs that looked good but I didn't try them. I don't think I'll be back because frankly it was worse than what I can make myself. If I'm paying for food, it should at least be as good as mine but of course I want better. It's hard to mess up something as easy as breakfast, but apparently you can.

The sausage was stale and the waffle tasted gritty like it had cornmeal in the batter. #oneanddone I make better breakfast in my home.

MYO Omelette (mushroom, spinach, onion, pepper jack cheese), Smoked Sausage, Breakfast Potatoes

Yelp saved me from an argument today! My boyfriend and I were growing increasingly irritable over the conversation of where to eat breakfast. A quick local breakfast place search is how we stumbled upon Simply Marie's. This Canton staple is nestled in the fall foliage with a small crowd of regulars and large flavorful smells wafting from the kitchen. They had outdoor chairs to sit small parties of 2-4. No indoor seating right now due to COVID, but today was so nice it was the perfect time to sit outside. I ordered a bacon omelette off the menu and customized it with onions and green peppers. Each omelette comes with the choice of breakfast potatoes or grits and toast. I opted out of the toast and got both grits and breakfast potatoes because I wanted to eat my anger from the ride there. Don't judge haha. Bae had the MYO Omelette with spinach, mushrooms, pepper jack cheese and onions. We also got two orders of smoked sausage. Everything came out super hot and fresh without a long wait! This was a shock to me because they were fairly busy when we got there. We were so hungry we ate in the car and the pictures have a few bites missing. The platters were large and turned into breakfast and late breakfast. We will definitely be back again to try the chicken and waffles which other reviewers raved about. Thanks Marie!

I've recently started working in the area and they are supper close thus I decided to try them out…read more I was very excited when I saw it was Korean owned however their K-food section is only two items; Bulgogi Dupbap & the Bulgogi Sub. The rest of the menu is American stuff. I've as of now tried both of these and very content with the taste and filling of these two, the price is reasonable per the portion and yummyness($12.49) plus tax about $13.25. The only thing I would change a bit is making sure that the juice from the bulgogi doesn't soak the bread too much cuz then it's mushy. I like a crunchy texture to my subs, but the may be just my preference. Both the son and the mom are super nice, if you become a regular it's very nice to have people know what you want right away. The atmosphere is very warm and friendly. I hope that they can incorporate more korean food to their menu, at least 2 more that have a different protein so we have a bit more variety. Though I understand why the options for kfood are limited given the area's population. Things to keep in mind: - When you order let them know if you want it to go or to eat there. Nobody can read minds, but they will do their best to ask you prior to packaging to confirm. - It can get busy so sometimes transaction may take longer because people are multitasking. - - - Don't rip out the receipt, you might be taking the wrong copy. Wait for the cashier to hand it to you or simply ask. -If you have questions about a product, ask them and don't assume. Yes. There is a big menu and pamphlets available and they provide brief item description but if that's not clear, just ask. They also have prepackaged salads, fruit and a few sweet treats, along with MissVickies chips, and bottle drinks. It's a cafe so the basics. Overall, really nice experience. Tots recommended :3

The service was good, and the dishes were tasty, but nothing that really stood out. That being said, I miss the old owner--there was something special about his presence that made every visit feel more welcoming and personal. I hope the new management keeps things moving in the right direction. I'll definitely return, but it's just not quite the same without the old vibe.

The service was on point, everyone was very nice, and the noise level was fine. Here is something I literally have never experienced anywhere else: My sister has a couple of food allergies and she gave the waitress a piece of paper where she listed out what she can and cannot have. A few minutes later, a lovely young woman (I think she said she was a manager) came out and discussed the list with my sister in detail, just to make sure the restaurant got it exactly right. My sister almost cried! As far as timing goes: They don't take reservations, but they have an efficient system -- when you arrive, they take down your name and phone number, tell you how long the wait will be, and then text you when it's your turn. They told us 40 minutes but it turned out to be only 20, so it's good we hadn't wandered too far away. Next time we're in Baltimore, we'll definitely be back.
