I am picky and it took me a lot of calls to a lot of self-storage facilities to finally decide on Silverhawk. My criteria were having an on-site manager, not being in a low or flat land due to the potential for flooding, good rates, and many security measures including video surveillance. On top of this, all the staff are so genuinely kind and helpful. LaToya, the resident manager, talked to me over the phone, helping me choose just the right unit for my needs and never made me feel rushed. She even reserved a unit for me as a courtesy, then I came to find out later that it was their last unit of that size. So grateful! The storage facility is so clean it seems like it's new (not sure how old it is), well lit, provides moving carts, and even has a good music soundtrack playing over the sound system, which makes the whole moving-in thing relatively pleasant. It's also good to know that they will provide a moving van and driver for free, but we decided to rent one on our own so we could have the flexibility of slowly loading the vehicle over the course of the day. This being my first review I had to give it to a place that gave me great customer service and this place does just that. Our business has a few units here and I have come out with loads repeatedly. Each time we are out there for 30 minutes or longer the manager Christian has come out to say hi and give our staff water. He doesn't chat for very long and I always see him picking up discarded debris. My staff has told me he always does this and it must be a part of employees too because they are so friendly and inviting in the office. They also provide candy, coffee, clean restrooms and good music. As I said before I have never given an online review I had to make sure it was worth doing one, and the staff at this facility has truly earned our trust and our continued business. After looking everywhere for storage facilities that have decent rates, Silverhawk Self Storage was the place! When I actually showed up at Silverhawk I was greeted by Vanessa. She couldn't have been nicer and very informative. I went home before I made my final decision and returned the following week ready to rent. I was then greeted by the manager, Cristhain. This former military young man (and thank you for your service!) greeted me with the highest of respect. Having found out he also lives on the property made my rental decision a firm yes. I was so impressed that I decided to rent on the spot without looking at another facility. I have rented many places over the past 30 years as my business needs have dictated, so I know what to look for. This place was awesome! Impeccably clean - practically polished, clearly well-run, with all the latest in security, and to top it off it was a great value. I chose this place due to all the amazing reviews. It gave me comfort, knowing that all my personal items that have sentimental value would be safe. When I first moved my items into storage I met Latoya, Gisele and Jerry. They were all absolutely kind, helpful, amazing and really made my experience wonderful. they even went out of their way to constantly check on us every so often make sure we were cool and brought us cold waters. I cannot say enough things about the staff and how they made me feel. I haven't had an issue once and every time I call they are extremely helpful. I am completing a difficult move from Hawaii and San Diego to Murrieta and there are a lot of moving parts. I dropped in at their facility and was impressed by the measures they are taking to protect themselves and me from COVID19 while still maintains great customer service. Silverhawk Self Storage has all the space we needed for our extra stuff since we've downsized. Their prices are awesome and what made it even better was the first month is free and the price is less because we have renters insurance. Amazing!! We needed a storage unit for a couple months while we posted our house for sale. We went to Silverhawk Storage and talked to LaToya. She is the manager and is amazing. She drove us in the golf cart to a couple different units to show us the size and location of the units. She was super helpful and we got a great deal on our unit. I wish we had got one sooner. They gave us a tour of the different unit that fix our need. The location is very clean and secure which to us is very important.
