wine corks and a menu

Fun place! When I pulled up, I thought I had missed it or got the address wrong. Not so. It's a rustic outside and inside and I'm glad I went. I'm one of those who pretends to know the difference in various wines, so I did a wine flight and wasn't disappointed. Try the one that tastes "like a tootsie roll". It actually does. The food was solid, too, which isn't always the case at wineries. I'll come back!

The wine was amazing every last one that we tasted. I bought a bottle to take home I bought a white peach wine don't judge me I like sweet wine. The meat and cheese plate was off the chain. I'm not big on cheese but they ones they had where good. They had a cheese/butter spread that was out of this world. So the reason I gave them only 3 stars was because the "Experience" that they said came with the Groupon. So we didn't get the signature glass to take home it was supposed to be included in the Groupon. They didn't explain the wine or what to pair it with. When I told them I had a Groupon they didn't seem to happy to take it. I mean if your company Is going to promote something they should keep there word. I don't think I would be going back I'll fine a bother winery to go to.

Loved it! Great winery, friendly staff. I had the Silver Dollar flight, 5 different wine tasting for $10. Just too bad it closes this early. Great place to hang out.

It doesn't get better than this! Cheers!

My husband and I decided to come here after a long week and unwind and we were pleasantly surprised! Not only were the wines amazing, but the meat and cheese board was delicious! We also had the flatbread which was to die for! Juanita made sure our first visit wouldn't be our last and went above and beyond to exceed our expectations! Highly recommend!

This looks interesting. Though it's an odd choice of "stands" - Girl Scout Cookies.

I don't have a lot of experience with wineries. Nor do I consider myself to be very sophisticated when it comes to wine. I have however consumed a fair amount of wine in my time, wine of all colors, though in the past few years I just stick to the reds. Which is what I did tonight. I tried tastings of the various reds and all were agreeable. I also tried a port. The port was sweet and I thought OK if you like sweet ports. I did finish with a full glass of the Silver Dollar Merlot (I forget its exact name), which was my favorite from the tastings. Silver Dollar Winery is a cute place. It has several seating areas, including a back room that seems ideal for small groups (or meetings). About the only thing missing is outdoor seating (unless I missed it, out back maybe?). The winery fronts on a rather busy street, and while it has a bit of a porch, I can't see that as a seating option, but maybe. As I was leaving I noticed a display for wine ice cream. I see from the website it's available "by the scoop" for $2, or $7.50 for a pint (http://www.silverdollarwinery.com/icecream.html). Eight options to choose from. Need to keep that in mind for a future visit. Bottom line: Definitely worth a look, and a sip, especially if you are lucky enough to live nearby.

First time here today and it has been such a pleasant experience! Great conversation with Gena and really nice wine options. Will definitely be revisiting with friends!

Delicious wines and fun atmosphere! Always a good time! They also have music or karaoke most Friday nights. Great place for events, too!

Great little local winery. Tried most of their house wines. All were pretty good. Very relaxed atmosphere and great apps. Will be back.

This place is well worth checking out. We did a couple of tasting and ended up walking away with 3 bottles of wine.

At the same time, my alcohol tolerance is horrible and I just would not have been able to handle any wine or other drink with alcohol. Thus, I could not enjoy the specialties of this establishment. Instead, I got the chicken pesto sandwich. Although quite unassuming, the sandwich was incredibly delicious. The ciabatta bread offered just the right amount of toast and texture to hold everything. There was a sizeable chicken breast. Not dry but also not too flavorful by itself but that's okay. The pesto really delivered on the flavor with a savory, nutty, and slightly herbal flavor. In the future, I'd love to try a one of their many drinks - non-alcoholic and alcoholic included!

To name a few there's creme brulee, charcoal honey, ube, pandan...along with all the regular flavors. The pastries are good, they are average, which is still a good thing. Ham & cheese came out flaky. :) Presentation is beautiful. Sometimes I'll go there midday & there's not alot to choose from so it will prevent me from getting a snack. Charcuterie & wine is available but I haven't ordered any of those. A fun atmosphere, along the wall are built in seats with chairs on the opposite end of the table. Other seating includes table with benches (beware you can't move the benches to get in & out, if I'm wrong I apologize), then some a few tables with chairs by the windows, on the other side they do have benches facing each other with tables in between (great for groups!), & beautiful outdoor patio seating. They have a small upstairs with chairs & use wine barrels as tables. Clever! Customer service is okay, let me say that every person there has been extremely pleasant but out of the four times I've been there, only once I didn't have an issue. They seem to enough their jobs & working together, which is a green flag for any place, but sometimes they get distracted. One time I stood there & staff was chatting in the corner, a good amount of time passed before anyone noticed me. Another time, they just forgot my drink (it was the only thing in my order) & there were no other order left... the group was again chatting away with with each other, then during another visit they forgot my croissant. Each time they did apologize, but three out of four times aren't good odds. I probably won't frequent this location as much, but I will stop by once in awhile because their drinks are worth it.

I grabbed a beer from here and then walked it over and took it into Bourbon Street Bar & Grill for dinner. I thought it was cool I could do that. I guess they have the same owners. After dinner my family all came over to have some of their world famous Old Fashions. We sat in the back at their big table, drank Old Fashions, and played games. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. We probably tried all the Old Fashions. We even tried them smoked. We've not had them smoked the way they did them.
