Where do I begin? The service was terrible. The wait time was crazy. The floors from the entrance to the back door had a greasy film on them. We ordered drinks, milk for the kids but after they took a sip, they said it tasted funny. I took a sip and immediately knew it was rotten. This made me mad because now we cant order milkshakes which they are known for. We got our food. My wife ordered the pickle brined chicken and waffles. Let's just say the chicken tasted like is was brined in throw up. My kids ordered pancakes which were ok but the syrup was very gummy for some reason. I ordered the country fried steak and eggs. For now, food was not satisfying...i ordered cauliflower sandwich and fries...I gave it a chance but the cauliflower was oily and there was waaay too much cheese....I will give this spot another try but I am not impressed. My other half had fish tacos...he complained about them being bland and "chalky" :( he too...is willing to try again but was a bit disappointed. I waited to be seated for 15 minutes. Fair. I was seated, and although the waitress went by me 5-6 times, she refused to acknowledge my existence. I'm fairly patient, but after seeing her serve other people and take new orders, I left after 20 minutes. 35 minutes I'll never get back. There are lots of food choices. Perhaps the grand opening should have been delayed a bit more? I'm thinking that with more staff training, the inconsistencies in my first experience here would have never been an issue. I really wanted to like this place. Seriously. I purposely avoided visiting until the public pandemonium over this new shiny Silver Diner wore off a bit. Well, here goes. I stopped in to grab Sunday breakfast by 830, again trying to avoid the crowds. There were less than 10 tables seated in the whole place. The greeting at the entrance, great. We were seated quickly, no wait. Our waitress Sa'Nahij came quickly and introduced herself. Let me say this.... she was really sweet and tried to be as accommodating as possible so this review is not specifically about her. However, it is about the inconsistencies in service. She took our drink orders, 2 coffees were ordered. The coffee came but it might as well have been water with brown coloring. She accidentally spilled one on the table- but it's fine, accidents happen.Bad omen though?! She suggested grabbing coffee from another pot that had been brewed. Again, 2 coffees were brought over and it was water. By this point, I'm annoyed because for the love of everything good and holy- you can't mess up someone's morning coffee! She offered alternatives, but I was done. I asked for water with lemon. It came 15 minutes later after my food had come and I had already finished it. It's important to note too, after bringing our drinks, we didn't see our server for at least 15-20 minutes until the food came out. The food came. 3 orders came and they were fine. 1 order was incorrect and sent back. Eventually the food that had been sent back came, and by that time everyone else had been done for at least 10 minutes. We paid and left. This experience was definitely not the best and I'm not sure I'll return. I definitely did not feel like it was worth what I paid. read more

First thing they forgot to give me my extra side of sausage that i order for my son cause for some reason that's all he like to eat from there. Occasionally he a eat a pancake but this time he didn't want one. So that was missing i was a little upset but i gave him mine. Second one of my orders had a egg shell in it. It is nice to have a Silver Diner in the area. The decor is very pleasing to the eye. I love that you can enjoy a cocktail with your meal, if you like. I visited the restuarant on a Tuesday morning with no wait. My meal consisted of pancakes, scrambled eggs with onions and pepper jack cheese, and bacon. All was cooked to perfection. The waitress provided excellent service and kept my coffee filled and hot! Most importantly, she had a smile on her face and appeared to enjoy her job! I have had some days and locations where the servers are flying through and taking great care to make sure orders are taken quickly and food is delivered hot and other days and locations...not so much. The Silver Diner has always been one of my favorites so I'm happy it's in the area! I had the pancakes and eggs and bacon. It was pretty good. However they were a little thick for me and the bacon was too thin. My husband had the Philly Cheesesteak omelette with cheddar cheese. It was very tasty, if you like that sort of food for breakfast. I would eat it at brunch. The sauce that come with it is a little spicy. We got a slice of chocolate cake. It looks good but haven't tasted it yet. One thing I would suggest to the restaurant is to have some pictures of the desserts on the menu. Some people are visual and would like to what the food looks like prior to ordering. Now to the logistics...I'm here on a weekday so it's not that crowded. This location has the same diner feel as the other locations, however I don't remember seeing the juke boxes. Of course, it's always a plus dining at a brand new location because it's clean. I'm not really a breakfast person however I would recommend Silver Diner for breakfast. Our waitress name Tiffany was wonderful, knowledgeable and a pleasure. My rating is partly because of her. Excellent customer service goes a long way! See you soon for lunch or dinner. read more

The ham and sausage aren't very good but my a scrambled eggs were made to perfection! I didn't care for the buttermilk pancakes,they were dry and were the texture was strange.My sister ordered pancakes with banana,she enjoyed those. Really very excited about this location opening in Woodmore. More culinary variety is a definite need in PG Co. and Silver Diner has a breadth of healthy options that answer the call. The food here is on par with other locations I've visited and the service I received was great. They were really busy when I visited so, admittedly, things move much quicker when you're a party of one. Nonetheless, I was warmly greeted as soon as I came in, the wait staff at the bar was very attentive, food came out quickly & was piping hot and I didn't have to hunt anyone down to get my bill and close things out. Nice restaurant but I think they didnt anticipate the crowd they are getting. They tell you 30 minute wait but it's an hour or more. The menu is ok. I didn't investigate this location prior to mtg up with my sisters do I was surprised at the menu. It doesn't carry all the typical Diner this year you may be expected. They focus on a plant-based menu. But it doesn't mean they don't have meat dishes, they do, it's limited and you just have to be open-minded. But it is nice to have a place in the community that offers the option of healthier meal choices. The indoor atmosphere was very crowded but very organized and energetic. It was a little loud (and our party didn't help) But it looks like everybody in the place is having a good time. I forgot to take a picture, but I purchased the fish and chips which were very tasty. They was filled with staff however after 5 minutes not one person greeted us or even offered us a drink of water. As they seen us leaving not one person even try to say good bye. I placed an online order. Customer service was good, the order was ready on time and the place appeared clean. The food was hit or miss. The granola yogurt was good and a big portion. The bagel was slightly stale. The bison sliders were dry. The wings were really tasty but so very small! The steak was a real miss, it looked good but lacked flavor and had an "off" taste; however the mashed potatoes & garlic spinach were really good. AMAZING!! I ordered from Silver Diner today for our lunch break at work. It was 100% percent. I requested delivery and everything was perfect and nothing was missing. The food was fresh and hot as if I was sitting at the restaurant and getting served a hot meal. Presentation was beautiful and greatly portioned! Literally had the worst experience I've ever had at a Silver Diner. First, we sat down and waited 20 minutes for someone to come over and greet us. When the server came over she asked if we had been waited on. We said "no" and she asked for our drink orders. We waited another 15 minutes and I had to get up and go ask for some water. The lady at the bar looked irritated that I was asking for water but someone brought over our water right after and someone else bought over our mimosas. Meanwhile the people who were seated 5 minutes after us had not even received their water and got up and left. We ordered our food and it was good as always. I was willing to just deal with the service since we got our food and were about to leave. The waiter came and asked were we ready for the check. we said "yes" and she bought it right away. We waited another 10 minutes for her to come and pick up the check and she never did. No problem! We went to the counter and the same girl I approached about my water told us that our waiter would take care of it. We told her that she never came to the table. When the waiter saw us she immediately took the bill and went to cash us out. Instead of her bringing back our card and the receipt she went allllll the way back to the table and put the bill there, came ba k to us standing at the bar and told us to go back to the table and sign the bill. This took the cake!! Now they were not busy inside and I can give the waitress some grace because she did seem new, but the performance closing out our bill was uncalled for. Super cute very authentic atmosphere. People are always in there cleaning which makes me feel really good. The multiple air purification systems also make me feel better about eating indoors. Nice and clean location. Nice and accommodating waiters/waitresses/hosts. The food is good and tastes fresh. I hated the French toast though, very thick and bready and no taste without caramel sauce... even then, tasteless and bready. Silver Diner should definitely bring BACK the fuller menu which made them one of the best all-day breakfast restaurants back in the day!!! I miss that variety from Silver Diner and very much still crave it. Silver Diner, let's add back to this new menu some of our favorites before another new or existing restaurant beats you to it and fills that void!!! We'd driven past this location a few times and said that we would make a visit. Two words... EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! For starters we arrived early to encounter dirty doors, nasty smeared walls with finger prints. There were 5 staffers at minimum at the front desk. Escorted to our table and from that time it took 40 minutes for our food to arrive. The food was cold, and we did not get the food prepared as requested. There were more staff members than customers, so not sure what the hiccup was for our food wait time or how the food was prepared. I am so surprised with all of the options this place has now! I picked this location to eat with my family for lunch because I saw it under construction a few months ago. When I saw the new menu, I was pleasantly surprised with what was available. I ordered the bison huevos rancheros that comes with goat cheese (I'm allergic to cow's milk, so this was great news). Overall the meal was amazing, but the goat cheese tasted a bit odd, like there was beer in it? I don't know what it was. I just scraped it off and ate the rest of the meal, which was very filling. Food was amazing, drinks, mimosa was hitting mad different! chocolate cake was bomb, and the shake was gorgeously amazing. 2 stars though because the waitress Kayla B was absolute garbage, never came around to ask if we were okay, asked other families if they were okay, we were drink less for 15 mins, had to ask another server if we could get water, and asked the hostess for our check because Kayla was too busy elsewhere.
