First time visiting this restaurant in Woodmore Town Center in Glenarden, MD, and it was a great lunch spot! I ordered the turkey burger with a side salad. The photo doesn't do the burger justice. It was juicy, flavorful, and filled with great taste. My only suggestion would be to lightly toast the bun, as it was served a bit cool. Our server, LB, was fantastic! He was friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful throughout the meal. Copper Canyon was the move before Chris Brown and Usher took the stage. Turns out half of the concert goers had the same idea, even on a Monday. We rolled up during happy hour and the bar was already three deep with concert goers, professionals still in their work clothes, and a few locals holding their usual spots. There were no open tables in sight but that didn't matter. We found our corner of the bar fast, and honestly, that ended up being the best seat in the house. A band played soft in the background. Servers moved through in outfits that said upscale, not sports bar. The whole room had that pre-show buzz, dressed up but not stiff. We blended in well. We started with the spinach and artichoke dip on a local's recommendation. It came with warm chips, sour cream, and a house made salsa that quietly stole the entire appetizer. I wanted a bowl of just the salsa. Our server, who clearly knew the menu inside and out, sold us on the smoked salmon, and we added a side of bacon mac and cheese along with the cornbread. The salmon looked right, cooked medium with real smoke on it, but the smoke won the fight against the fish. Mushy inside, more fishy than smoky should allow. The sauce didn't rescue it either. Sautéed spinach on the side needed salt, plain and simple. Then the cornbread and mac and cheese showed up and reminded us why we came. Rich, comforting, with the kind of flavor that makes you forget the salmon happened. When I'm back, I'm ordering both of those twice and calling it a meal. Drinks were the real win. A Saratoga sparkling water kept things clean between bites, and the Peartini was one of the better cocktails I've had in a while, balanced, not too sweet, actually worth the price. The seat beside us turned over twice during the meal, first someone who went to the concert a few days earlier and wanted to talk about it, then someone else who slid in for a quick drink while waiting on their table. Both ended up in easy conversation with us, no forcing it. That's the part I keep thinking about, not the salmon. Copper Canyon got the room right, the drinks, the starters, the easy conversation with strangers. Some nights the food is the headline. Outside the bill not being able to be split, the experience was wonderful. We made a reservation that was split between two sections. They were able to accommodate us and the server for the adults was perfection! The kids server was also good even though he questioned one of the kids orders ;) I get it, Filet for a kid is unique. The food came out in a timely manner and not one of us had a complaint. While I didn't try the drinks those they did loved them but they did need a wipe on the glass so they weren't so sticky. A couple Sundays ago, the Queens and I got together for a late lunch at Copper Canyon in Woodmore Town Center, and we had such a wonderful time. From the moment we sat down, our server Chad took great care of us. He was attentive without hovering, kept our drinks refilled, answered all of our questions, and even helped us find the perfect sauce pairing for one of our appetizers. When you're out catching up with friends, having a server who helps the meal flow smoothly makes such a difference, and Chad absolutely did that. I started off with the Fleur de Lis. And it was perfect! For Apps, we started with the fried green tomatoes topped with crab and balsamic glaze, the calamari, and the crab dip. All appetizers were delicious and disappeared quickly from the table. For our entrees, our group ordered a variety of dishes including the salmon, steak salad, seafood pasta and a trout dish. Everything that came out looked beautiful and was enjoyed by the person who ordered it. We spent just as much time admiring everyone's plates as we did eating them! Of course, I couldn't leave without dessert to take home!! The caramel macchiato cheesecake sounded delicious and turned out to be a perfect ending to the day while watching a movie!! What we enjoyed most was the overall experience. Good food, great conversation, lots of laughter, and excellent service from Chad. I usually like this restaurant, but the bar service was terrible. Kim was good when another customer finally directed me to wait on b me after I sat for 15 minutes at the bar! The bartender had the nerve to ask me if I was alright after eating what I was going to eat. I find a lot of humor in this outing. They did offer me a glass of wine for the inconvenience. $54 and that was not a whole meal. So disappointing. The best part was the wine and the live music. Keep in mind that I still left a tip. And what I experienced was quite fulfilling on all levels. The service was polite, patient and attentive throughout the afternoon... Came on my birthday for lunch and the service was astoundingly awful. Waitress was snappy with me to an extreme where I felt like I was belittled the entire time. I had a salad as ORDERED blue cheese; the salad didn't come with it and came with the dressing originally. I asked when it came to the table for blue cheese and the waitress asked with an attitude "did you even try what it came with?" We weee both so impressed with the level of service we received from Juliana our waitress, who was personable, knowledgeable, and pleasant. Arielle the front hostess, was professional and presented well. The manager on duty, Mallory, came over and told us that the dining experience at CC begins at the front door and how important training was for the staff . I went to this location when they first opened and was disappointed and haven't been back until now. It's still overly disappointing! It's packed and loud inside BUT don't let the smoke and mirrors fool you. The food is overcooked and lacks season. My advice save your hard earned money this place and their food TERRIBLE. Parents anytime a kids says, "these chicken fingers don't taste like anything", and then I try them and it taste like chicken no seasoning just fried chicken with absolutely nothing. It tasted good too -- smooth, sweet, but STRONG!! REAL STRONG!!! The type of strong when you know you better stop at one...LOL. Then came the spinach dip with the salsa and sour cream, and listen, it was EVERYTHING. Creamy, flavorful, and just downright addictive. Thinking about now makes me want more. I'm NOT SHARING next time. We split the club salad, and it was... okay. It wasn't bad, but needed a bit more personality. For the entree, I ordered crab cakes with fries and coleslaw -- the sides were solid, but those crab cakes? Very fishy. Never lets me down! Been here a few times and I can comfortably say I won't hesitate to come back. All the staff is wonderful, ambiance is great, and the food is appetizing. I've had the salmon, crab cakes, chicken tenders and steak frites before. None have disappointed but on this particular visit I had gotten my usual, steak frites. That had to have been one of the best meals I've had here. I lean towards fattier steaks and this piece had the perfect amount of fat. Not too much and not too little. I went to copper canyon last week with a friend as a last minute hang out spot. we were supposed to go to Blue Sunday in Bowie but they were closed until 3pm. the atmosphere was a lot more upscale than I expected! the bathrooms were very clean and the waitress was pretty friendly And attentive. we ordered mixed cocktails, calamari (hot and tasty), and the seafood pasta which wasn't bad but definitely needed some salt. the portion sizes were really good tho, so overall I'd go back for another try at something else on their menu. read more

The service was quite slow, but the burger and fries tasted great. My wife enjoyed the salmon and mashed potatoes, but said the spinach could use some work. My friend and I came here on a Saturday afternoon and the place was busy but we were seated shortly after we checked in with the host. There was ample parking around the restaurant. Our server Amari was friendly and helpful. My friend ordered the Barbeque Pork Ribs and to our pleasant surprise it was this full slab of flavorful slow cooked, crisp on the outside and fall-off-the-bone tender, served with shoestring french fries, coleslaw and barbecue sauce. I of course had to partake of this delicious dish. The entree I got was equally delicious. My job took us to Copper Canyon to celebrate Principal's Appreciation Month after work. We were a party of 12 or so. As a group, we had a couple of appetizers (Spinach and Artichoke Dip, and Chips and Salsa). That was the first spinach and artichoke dip I have ever had that had nice chunks of vegetables in it. My wife and I stopped by for a lunch date and kicked things off with the peartinis--because we never pass up a good pear cocktail. Asha, the bartender, was incredible--she made and served our drinks both times and had such great energy! The Crab Dip was Very soupy with not a lot of crab meat so I felt a little disappointed with it overall, but I must say we both enjoyed the egg rolls they were Delicious. For entrees my lady ordered the Steak Frites prepared medium, with mash potatoes and sautéed spinach. I ordered the Roasted Half Chicken , mash potatoes, and a house salad . Overall the entrees were pretty Good nothing really to write home about, but I would rate the whole experience a 8 out of 10 because of the Service and Atmosphere. However, if you require any special seating accommodations, it is recommended that you call ahead. We had a situation last night where the original designated seating could not accommodate our group. The hostesses didn't seem equipped to "shift" and make a decision that could fix the conundrum. However, a manager was asked to step in and we were taken care of. We were actually seated in a private room. Upon initially sitting in the space, it was very cozy. However, it eventually got a bit chilly. After several requests to adjust the temp, we were still uncomfortable. I am not sure if the cool air blowing also caused most of our meals to be lukewarm at best. Also, a few people in our party complained of the food not being well seasoned. I will say, the salmon, pot pie, and collard greens were home runs! Don't hesitate to visit and form your own opinion. Had the pleasure to eat here today. My apologies for no pics but it was a business lunch. We shared the spinach dip appetizer. Absolutely delicious!
