    Lamb chops

Olde Towne Inn was a good experience with a few hits and one miss. Let's start with the food... The cornbread? Chef's kiss. Warm, flavorful, and a great way to start. The crab dip, however, was a no for me. It was a little too runny, so I skipped it. Now the lamb chops... babyyy, they did not come to play. Perfectly seasoned, cooked just right, and absolutely delicious. I will say, the food took a little while to come out, so be prepared for a bit of a wait. But our waitress made up for it. She was attentive, friendly, and kept everything flowing, which definitely helped the overall experience. All in all, I would come back, especially for those lamb chops. Just come with a little patience and you will be good, lol.

Chicken and Broccoli pasta with added Oti Jumbo Shrimp

This hole in the wall is located on Main St near the court house, it isn't very big and can possibly be missed. The food was pretty good and the drinks were too. My server was great-once I captured his attention. I was sitting for about 20 minutes and no one had come by to even offer water. I saw the waiters pass me multiple times and I would say--oh here she/he comes, but she/he never did. I finally flagged down a guy server who ended up being great. I ordered a chicken and broccoli pasta and added shrimp. It was ok, nothing to rave about. My friend arrived and ordered a salmon pesto penne. We ended up mixing both pastas together and the 2 sauces combined changed the game----yum.. If hole in the walls are your type of vibe, this would be a perfect spot to visit if you haven't already. Remember not to drink too much because the Sheriff will definitely be lurking.

This was my first time visiting olde town inn in Upper Marlboro, I'm not sure if the largo location is open. My friend was hosting a fundraiser, it is a nice casual spot to host an event. We ordered a few appetizers including crab dip, wings, and calamari. The food was good and the vibe was chill. The staff were also pleasant. Plenty of parking across the street in the lot. There is WiFi available as well.

    Seafood Cobb Salad

The Seafood Cobb Salad was delicious! I got a little blue cheese dressing on the side as well and it tasted homemade! I was brought this meal by a family member and I would 100% spend my own money to purchase that salad again and try other menu items. I was told this place is a hidden gem ! I'll definitely be trying out again.

Customer service was great from the moment we walked in until we left. Lauren did an amazing job assisting us. The vibe was on point as well. If you're looking for a place with good music, food, and conversation, this is it.

You can't go wrong with this spot, The food is a classic comfort meal done right. The golden-fried fish fillets are perfectly crispy on the outside while remaining tender and flaky on the inside--seasoned just enough to hold their own without overpowering the natural flavor of the fish. The thick-cut fries are hearty and well-seasoned, a perfect companion to the fish. The creamy tartar sauce and tangy cocktail sauce provide a great flavor contrast, letting you switch things up bite by bite. On the side, the coleslaw is fresh and crisp, with a nice balance of creaminess and crunch that helps cut through the richness of the fried elements. Overall, it's a satisfying, no-frills Southern-style meal that hits the spot.

My cousin & I stopped in for lunch today, coming home from a trip to Suitland. The place was not too busy. Someone took our drink orders right away and brought us menus. We had a burger and a club sandwich. The fries were good. The staff was really friendly and pleasant. This is an old timey café type place down the street from the Court House. We sat inside, but they also have tables outside in the alley. It was a fine lunch stop. If I were around that area more, I would stop in more often.

The chef here definitely put something is this caesar salad dressing! I've come back 3 times within 2 weeks!!!! You only get 3 shrimps-however I cut them into like 5 pieces per shrimp and it's enough to have with every bite. Hahaaaaa!!! I'm so full! Now I need to go for a good walk so I won't fall asleep at my desk. I was in and out today with ordering ahead. I did get a chance to glance at some other patrons plates while they bagged my lunch and i must say everything looked delicious. One of these days I'm going to try something else but for now-SHRIMP CAESAR ME PLEASE!! Happy Yelping!

After church, with my Maximus Elite, I wanted a waffle. My beau used to frequent this area for years and we ventured to his old stomping ground, Olde Towne Inn. It's small, intimate, definitely a staple to the community. To my surprise there was live music, what a great touch for brunch! Service was great and the food was excellent. Coffee was perfect! No complaints! Glad I was introduced to this gem.

My favorite go to entree when I go is the seafood garden salad! Fresh ingredients and the dressing is always top tier.

Once you enter, there's a small bar and lounge area that bleeds nicely into a small dining area. It has a contemporary style but nothing over the top. The food is amazing. We've had the crab cakes, crab egg rolls, lamb chops, seafood fried rice and the seafood salmon and each meal had us wanting more... Delicious! Service can be a little slow, so I would recommend having at least one more server, especially Thursday - Sunday! Yo girl been trying to eat a little healthier and was looking for some baked or grill fish. This restaurant did deliver. The grill tilapia and broccoli was pretty good. The portion size was on point. My son wanted their crab cake burger which I had to taste and it was delicious. They offer mumbo sauce with their fries and it is banging. Got a nice little kick to it. The corn on the cob is so so. Its not bad but I just had better. Its too greasy for corn on the cob too. So confused about that. Any who, I spent $40 for everything which was reasonable for 2 meals. I will definitely be back to try other menu items. The cashiers here are super friendly which is always appreciated because its seems like people are losing basic manners. So thanks ladies for your kindness it didnt go unnoticed. Would I recommend this restaurant, yeah I would. Its not spectacular but its pretty good and you get enough food for the price. That itself is worth it. So go and visit so we can keep restaurants like this open in our community.

There are surprising number of chicken options here for a place called, "This Is Seafood", but not quite as many seafood options as I hoped. I was really looking forward to getting an order of fried scallops for lunch and I was a little disappointed they didn't have them on the menu. I decided to get the Combo #4: 3 whole wings, 6 fried shrimp, and my choice of 1 piece of fish and side dish. For my fish, I chose fried catfish and for my side I chose hush puppies. The combo also came with a fountain drink. I decided to mix their house-made lemonade and house-made iced tea and it made the perfect half-and-half. The wait wasn't too bad, as the food was being freshly made. It was piping hot and crispy when I received it. Those shrimp were huge! Some of the biggest fried shrimp I've ever had...And not those butterfly shrimp either. Whole shrimp, and the tail was removed so I didn't have to worry about accidentally crunching on one of the shells. The catfish was delectable! Perfectly seasoned, delightfully crispy, and absolutely melted in my mouth. So good. I'm coming back for the catfish if nothing else. The wings were perfectly fried, nice and crispy, but they were a bit too light on the seasoning for my taste. And the mumbo sauce tasted too similar to barbecue sauce. I did not like that, so I ended up saving the rest of the wings until I got home to put my own mumbo sauce on them. The hush puppies were also really good. I like that they were fried perfectly and weren't greasy... Even after reheating them. Overall, my lunch cost me about $25 and it was enough food for at least two meals. Can't beat that. I'll be back for that catfish.

We drove to southern Maryland to pick crabs. Captain John's has in the past been dependably good…read more This time the food did not disappoint but the service was very rough. We ordered a dozen crabs, a pound of jumbo shrimp, a bowl of cream of crab soup, an order of hush puppies and an order of fried pickles. The soup had plenty of lumps of crab meat and a nice flavor, and the portion was ample. The crabs were described as jumbo but were closer to large. At $115 for the crabs, a dozen was enough. (Side note: when the market price is that high you really should disclose it on a specials sheet or chalkboard or something. The first mention of it was on the final bill.) The crabs were steamed well and did not taste muddy at all. The shrimp likewise was perfectly cooked. The pickles and puppies were delicious. Total bill before tip came to $200. On the high side versus expectations but not alarming. Service was worse than spotty. At times it was clear that the server had tables in multiple areas of the restaurant and needed roller skates to keep up. And there were times that she was sitting talking to other employees or with her regulars. Several things we had to ask for multiple times (melted butter for crab, drink refills, a few crackers) some of which we finally gave up on ever getting and went to the bar to request. Things like silverware had to be requested. Getting the bill took longer than necessary. All in all, service was 2 to 3 stars. Setting: Worn chairs and tables. Many televisions, all set to Maryland Lottery channels for fake horse races and keno that ran nonstop. Large lottery machine near the bar that did a steady business. This was distracting and not conducive to pleasant dining. Overall the food made the trip worth it. Will go back but not for the atmosphere or the service.
