For Easter brunch, I ventured in to the grove. It's free parking and a buffet with a carving station, greens, bacon . Sausage, shrimp and grits, Waffles, home fries. Catfish , etc. There is a dessert station, with fruit and chocolate fondue tower. We had pineapple mimosas. It's a family oriented venue and pretty standard brunch. If you want to be around Oak creek residents and golf enthusiasts, this is your place.

I honestly had no idea it was a country club until we pulled up to a gated community & it was clear it was an affluent area. It seemed really nice on the outside & it's really spacious on the inside. Just a disclaimer, this review might not be completely well rounded due to coming there for an event and not an actual dining experience. As far as the food goes, I was very underwhelmed. The menu itself bothered me & my friend because the type font was so small, we had to use flashlights or get into light to read it. Additionally, the service wasn't the best. We didn't even know that our food was done until we had to ask & we waited for a long time. I ordered a catfish sandwich, which was supposedly "Caribbean" inspired. The "jerk" sauce that came with it just tasted like vinegarette. Very overpriced for what I got. My friend ordered the quesadillia & wasn't impressed as well. I wouldn't mind returning for events purposes, but please eat beforehand or hold on off until after you leave.

The grove is a cute little hidden gem ! I've NEVER tasted Mac and cheese this good... it's almost like an Italian take on mac & cheese. And the chicken has the perfect amount of crispy and seasoning to it. We went during a rainy cold day, but I feel like if it was warm and nice outside it would've been perfect to sit outside and enjoy the weather while eating. Servers were friendly and portions were large, but it's Buffet style so you can try some thing and get more if you really enjoy it! They have everything you need to make a perfect chill brunch, mimosas, delicious, coffee, eggs, bacon, mac & cheese, fried chicken, collard greens. And I love that they didn't put pork in the greens. I definitely say, try them out!! Check out more on my blog doseofdev.com

Some friends and I had brunch here. It was a reasonably priced buffet. The buffet consisted of shrimp and grits; scrambled eggs, hash browns, turkey sausage, pork bacon, greens, and fried chicken. There is also a cold food station with fresh fruit, danishes, and churros. They also have self serve coffee, tea, and juices. No one in my group ordered any alcoholic beverages however several other table enjoyed mimosas. I believe the cost was around $34 which I found to be extremely reasonable. The manager came over to check in on us to see if we were okay. We also had the opportunity to meet the chef. Everyone was very friendly. There is music playing in the background and the service is prompt. I'm looking forward to going again.

Sundays are for brunch! Had reservations for 11 a.m. at The Grove. Beautiful location with ample parking. They open at 11 a.m. so when we entered there was only 1 or 2 tables occupied. Spacious, clean interior with outdoor seating with table firepits. Breakfast buffet had eggs, shrimp and grits, bacon, greens, macaroni and cheese, fried chicken, greens, waffles, fresh fruit, pastries, tea, coffee, and orange juice. There is a drink menu available as well. Friendly staff. Food was good, just the chicken was dry and the macaroni and cheese was bland. The waffle was delicious and served with warm syrup. Will be back.

This place is a hidden gem for sure! I had the nawlin's omelette and the snickererdoodle french toast. One is savory of course, while the other is sweet. Both meals were amazing. The staff isn't that friendly or helpful but the food is great. This place is great for a chill, lowkey Sunday brunch

For starters, I couldn't decide between the honey butter chicken biscuits, jalapeño cornbread, or the calamari... and honestly, you can't go wrong with any of them. For the main course, I went with the barramundi (catch of the day) and it was absolutely perfect, though the BBQ pork ribs and 12oz black angus New York strip with fries also looked amazing. Unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. When I arrived, the place was packed, which is great to see -- but nearly half of the special items were already sold out. I went ahead and ordered the fried fish with three sides and was quoted a 20-minute wait. Since the space is on the smaller side, I chose to wait in my car. Twenty minutes later, I came back in and was told it would be another 20 minutes, and that they'd bring my order out to me. After no one came out, I went back inside to find the restaurant had completely cleared out, and my food still wasn't ready. They apologized and offered a complimentary drink, which was a nice gesture, but I ended up waiting nearly an hour and a half for fish and three sides. That's simply not acceptable, regardless of how busy it gets. I get it, a rush happens. But transparency goes a long way. Had I been given an honest wait time upfront, I would have made a different decision. I truly want to see Black businesses thrive, especially right now, and I hope they take this feedback to heart and work out the kinks.

However, from the start, the service felt disorganized. There was confusion at the front with seating, and guests were being moved around while staff seemed to be sorting out table assignments in real time, which came off a bit unprofessional. After being seated, we waited about 10-12 minutes before being acknowledged by our server. During that time, service already felt slow across the board, as even nearby tables were experiencing delays. When our server (a lighter-skinned woman with twists pulled back into a ponytail) came over, we were told several menu items were unavailable after we had already attempted to order them, including drinks and fresh fruit that were still listed on the menu. As someone who has worked as a server before, I feel communication like this should be handled before service even begins. Items that are 86'd should be communicated during pre-shift meetings and clearly shared with guests upon greeting the table so they can make informed choices upfront. It helps avoid frustration and gives guests alternatives before ordering. Our food also came out not hot at all--it honestly felt like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while and was not up to standard. Overall service remained inconsistent, with limited check-ins and needing to flag staff multiple times. While the bus staff was friendly and helpful, the overall experience fell short in organization, communication, and quality, especially for a first visit.
