She returned and told my partner she would comp the drink and go throw it away. How are you comping us for something we never ordered and instead of trashing it just keep it at our table. She then came with the correct drink and we asked for the bill. On the bill she had still charged gratuity for the drink that was returned. After back and forth the manager came over to say they couldn't remove the gratuity as the system automatically does this. We will not return due to the service alone as there are places with better service, with the same quality of food for a friendlier price tag.

We all decided to order a special - and I went with the jack cheddar cheese omelette. I had a choice of meat to add (I went with sausage), and the dish also came with hash browns and a biscuit. The food itself was good - solid diner fare. The reason why I'm giving such a low rating is that there were major breakdowns in service. Coffee service was relatively slow, we did not get any juice nor were we asked to order it despite being part of the specials we ordered, my colleague wasn't offered any breakfast meat with her dish despite it being advertised as it being included, and my dish was served with a side of fruit instead of hash browns.
