Okay, so this place is a whole vibe! My friend and I stopped in on a random Tuesday after work to unwind and grab a couple of drinks, but this place had nighttime lounge vibes in the middle of the day....and I loved it. It was such a pleasant surprise! The drinks kept flowing, and they were definitely strong. The music was on point too. I don't remember the DJs' names, but the first DJ played a great mix of R&B and hip-hop, and the later DJ switched it up with grown-and-sexy old-school hits. People were up dancing, everyone was socializing. It felt like Saturday night in DC but in Temple Hills lol. The vibe never missed. For food, my friend and I ordered the chicken wings, and I also got the truffle fries. Both were 10/10. I'm getting a four out of five because it took a very long time for us to put in our drink order and to get our wings. The employees were still kind, but service is a bit slow. Lisp Lounge... well it's the neighborhood hole in the wall and it does the job for the Brandywine/Clinton area. The ex (aka cheater) used to find food and would try new places even if it were places like these. We went twice since it's by his home. He had a handful of places he loved to go to and this was part of his rotation. Service is AMAZING! The lady owner/manager is a sweetie pie! Ambiance: No Frills! Food: Great! I can't get into it because it's been that long. Would I come back? Probably wouldn't be on my "to go" places but glad I was able to try. What USE to be Infuse is now "Lisp Lounge" - Nice service but the menu is smaller my favorite item is gone which is the reason I went this particular day. I wanted to love this spot, especially knowing it's now a Black women-owned establishment, but the experience at Lisp Lounge was disappointing. We visited on Cinco de Mayo--a day they aren't typically open--and it was clear the team was underprepared for the opening. The service was incredibly slow throughout the evening. While we expected a wait given the special opening, the "meh" bar food didn't really make up for the delay. There were some high points: the music was great and set a nice vibe, and the drinks were definitely strong and well-made. However, having frequented this location when it was Infuse, I was hoping for an upgrade in operations. Even with the change in management, the business model and execution don't seem to have improved. I'm all for supporting local, but they'll need to tighten up the service and food quality to keep people coming back. #enjoygoodpeople read more

Cool little spot that used to be called Illusions, located on Allentown RD near the Royal Farms. I didn't stay long but I had a ticket to an event that was happening on that particular night. There was live entertainment--a few old school performers who were great. The establishment was clean including the restrooms. The food and drinks were pretty good. I only tasted wings and had a margarita.Heads up--the gratuity is already included. One thing I didn't care for was, when you order a drink at the bar, the receipt doesn't give you any information. No breakdown at all----that's weird. But nonetheless it's a nice spot, not sure how it operates on the daily basis since it was a special event on this night. read more

Formally "Infuse Restaurant", Lisp Lounge has taken over the space and the owners put a little lipstick on it. Noticeably nicer looking than Infuse, this is what most local drinking holes should be, because it's more than just a drinking hole. The menu has several nice options that caught my attention. Our first visit, I ordered the lamb chops. They were cooked and seasoned well, however, they were on the smaller side. I really couldn't complain because the price was super reasonable. She had the Cajun pasta, which was loaded with shrimp and tasty sausage. She didn't drink, however, I had the strawberry Hennessey. I drank about half and being clumsy, the rest went falling on the floor. Our server was great. He immediately came to the rescue, cleaned up my clumsy mess and hooked me up with a fresh new drink, gaining at least 10 cool points in my book! Our second time out, I tried the Ribeye. Again, seasoned and cooked really well and for $32, I felt like I just had a quality meal for an Outback Steakhouse price! What: Party of 4 ladies When: Thursday at 7 pm, May 14, 2026 This was a band night, Secret Society played starting at 7:45 pm and there were no tables available when we arrived at 7, so reservations are strongly suggested. We got lucky seeing familiar faces in the house. *IDs are checked and guests are patted down. *Bathroom was clean. *Wait staff was courteous and checked on us often. *The sound system was ON so this is not a quiet dinner spot, this place is loud and lively. *Crowd was aged 35-65. *50/50 Men/Women *Drinks were good. *My party was satisfied with their food, nothing amazing. We got the cajun pasta, trio sliders, Brussels sprouts, and miso salmon with sweet potato fries and mac and cheese (baked penne). Salmon was overcooked (I didn't specify) but I ate it and didn't leave hungry. *The hostess was amazing and accommodated us well even as we waited for a table. *Parking is TOUGH, the lot fills quickly but we made a way. --- From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the backdrop. The bar area offers plenty of seating, and the overall dining space is both stylish and comfortable. There's even a private room available for decorating and hosting special occasions. The staff greeted me warmly and promptly showed me to my table. I ordered the honey lemon pepper wings, and let me just say, they were phenomenal! Easily the best I've ever had. The seasoning had the perfect balance of lemon/pepper and honey. The wings were also generously sized and cooked just right. I tried the mango margarita, which was smooth with just the right amount of mango flavor. I arrived and the ONLY person who acknowledged me was security who padded me down upon entering! I sat down and watched the waiter/server totally ignore me well while he served drinks and food to the couple next to me. This behavior went on for over an hour. I stood up giving up my table to a couple who wanted to sit down and even then was I ignored and not offered Service or even a glance!!! As a retired veteran, I would not recommend this place to anyone expecting a professional service or environment, and I am deeply disappointed with how I was treated!!! We attended the Line Dance Brunch. The first thing we were told is there is no longer an all you can eat buffet brunch. We ordered from the limited brunch à la cart menu. Although the food was tasty, it was very overpriced for what you got. The server was very good and apologized for things that were not their fault like having to give us plastic utensils, and not being as attentive as they should be because for a while they were the only wait staff present. The kitchen got our order wrong and it had to be sent back three times. The manager did comp the dish. The ambiance was ok. The seating was not very comfortable and the tables were wobbly forcing you to hold your drink when you stand up in case it tips over. The restroom needed some attention. Overall the atmosphere and clientele are great. It did get a little crowded during the line dance but that is to be expected. I would go back but will not be ordering food. I love to support black owned businesses but it's hard when they don't have all the help they need to make an excellent experience for the customers. Do better Lisp. read more

It's great to see more sit down restaurants in PG, but service at Lisp needs a lot of work. The first impression, was not a good impression. I think I'll give them more time to work out the kinks before i visit again. Front of the house: we were greeted at the door by a security guard asking for ID and a pat down. I thought this was odd seeing this was just a restaurant. After security check, we were escorted to a table. The decor and ambiance are nice. You can tell the owners put thought into how they wanted the restaurant to look. A waiter shortly came over and took our drink and appetizer ordered. It took a considerable amount of time for the drinks, but the waiter did apologized for the wait. Dinner: The food was delivered, but we had to sit and wait for someone to come by so that we could ask for silverware and napkins. These things should come automatically when food is ordered. The chefs nailed it!!!! Easily earned a 10/10. For apps we had the lemon pepper wings, fried and seasoned to perfection. For entree we ordered the short ribs with mashed potatoes and the lamb chops with rice. Everything was perfect. Great flavors and temperature. Although we enjoyed dinner, after the food was dropped off, no one came over to check and see if we had any issues. Went here as a drop in just because I was hungry. A hidden jewel. The bartender, Sarah was amazingly kind and attentive. The food was good and the owner was incredibly engaging and kind. I live a good ways from this place and will certainly patronize it regularly. I'm a picky eater and was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. Owner was sitting at the desk upon our arrival, she did acknowledge us at all. Food was just ok a lot of the items they advertise on their brunch menu were not served. The place is very small and tables are to close together. There was only one waitress which was also the bartender(she was friendly and did the best she could while still being nice). I would give zero stars if that were an option, due to poor management and her lack of self-awareness. It was clearly an attempt to cover for herself so her till wouldn't come up short.
