I wanted to love this spot, especially knowing it's now a Black women-owned establishment, but the experience at Lisp Lounge was disappointing. We visited on Cinco de Mayo--a day they aren't typically open--and it was clear the team was underprepared for the opening. The service was incredibly slow throughout the evening. While we expected a wait given the special opening, the "meh" bar food didn't really make up for the delay. There were some high points: the music was great and set a nice vibe, and the drinks were definitely strong and well-made. However, having frequented this location when it was Infuse, I was hoping for an upgrade in operations. Even with the change in management, the business model and execution don't seem to have improved. I'm all for supporting local, but they'll need to tighten up the service and food quality to keep people coming back. #enjoygoodpeople

Cool little spot that used to be called Illusions, located on Allentown RD near the Royal Farms. I didn't stay long but I had a ticket to an event that was happening on that particular night. There was live entertainment--a few old school performers who were great. The establishment was clean including the restrooms. The food and drinks were pretty good. I only tasted wings and had a margarita.Heads up--the gratuity is already included. One thing I didn't care for was, when you order a drink at the bar, the receipt doesn't give you any information. No breakdown at all----that's weird. But nonetheless it's a nice spot, not sure how it operates on the daily basis since it was a special event on this night.

Formally "Infuse Restaurant", Lisp Lounge has taken over the space and the owners put a little lipstick on it. Noticeably nicer looking than Infuse, this is what most local drinking holes should be, because it's more than just a drinking hole. The menu has several nice options that caught my attention. Our first visit, I ordered the lamb chops. They were cooked and seasoned well, however, they were on the smaller side. I really couldn't complain because the price was super reasonable. She had the Cajun pasta, which was loaded with shrimp and tasty sausage. She didn't drink, however, I had the strawberry Hennessey. I drank about half and being clumsy, the rest went falling on the floor. Our server was great. He immediately came to the rescue, cleaned up my clumsy mess and hooked me up with a fresh new drink, gaining at least 10 cool points in my book! Our second time out, I tried the Ribeye. Again, seasoned and cooked really well and for $32, I felt like I just had a quality meal for an Outback Steakhouse price! I will definitely patronize this black owned establishment in the future and I hope you will too!!

    Mango Margarita

--- From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the backdrop. The bar area offers plenty of seating, and the overall dining space is both stylish and comfortable. There's even a private room available for decorating and hosting special occasions. The staff greeted me warmly and promptly showed me to my table. I ordered the honey lemon pepper wings, and let me just say, they were phenomenal! Easily the best I've ever had. The seasoning had the perfect balance of lemon/pepper and honey. The wings were also generously sized and cooked just right. I tried the mango margarita, which was smooth with just the right amount of mango flavor. I'll definitely be returning to explore more of the menu. If everything else is as good as those wings, I'm in for a treat!

Soft opening menu , small bites , atmosphere and live band.

Yo girl been trying to eat a little healthier and was looking for some baked or grill fish. This restaurant did deliver. The grill tilapia and broccoli was pretty good. The portion size was on point. My son wanted their crab cake burger which I had to taste and it was delicious. They offer mumbo sauce with their fries and it is banging. Got a nice little kick to it. The corn on the cob is so so. Its not bad but I just had better. Its too greasy for corn on the cob too. So confused about that. Any who, I spent $40 for everything which was reasonable for 2 meals. I will definitely be back to try other menu items. The cashiers here are super friendly which is always appreciated because its seems like people are losing basic manners. So thanks ladies for your kindness it didnt go unnoticed. Would I recommend this restaurant, yeah I would. Its not spectacular but its pretty good and you get enough food for the price. That itself is worth it. So go and visit so we can keep restaurants like this open in our community.

There are surprising number of chicken options here for a place called, "This Is Seafood", but not quite as many seafood options as I hoped. I was really looking forward to getting an order of fried scallops for lunch and I was a little disappointed they didn't have them on the menu. I decided to get the Combo #4: 3 whole wings, 6 fried shrimp, and my choice of 1 piece of fish and side dish. For my fish, I chose fried catfish and for my side I chose hush puppies. The combo also came with a fountain drink. I decided to mix their house-made lemonade and house-made iced tea and it made the perfect half-and-half. The wait wasn't too bad, as the food was being freshly made. It was piping hot and crispy when I received it. Those shrimp were huge! Some of the biggest fried shrimp I've ever had...And not those butterfly shrimp either. Whole shrimp, and the tail was removed so I didn't have to worry about accidentally crunching on one of the shells. The catfish was delectable! Perfectly seasoned, delightfully crispy, and absolutely melted in my mouth. So good. I'm coming back for the catfish if nothing else. The wings were perfectly fried, nice and crispy, but they were a bit too light on the seasoning for my taste. And the mumbo sauce tasted too similar to barbecue sauce. I did not like that, so I ended up saving the rest of the wings until I got home to put my own mumbo sauce on them. The hush puppies were also really good. I like that they were fried perfectly and weren't greasy... Even after reheating them. Overall, my lunch cost me about $25 and it was enough food for at least two meals. Can't beat that. I'll be back for that catfish.

Customer service, though patient, no smile at all from the young lady working the register on Saturday, June 13th at approximately 8 pm. What did I order? The Rasta Pasta and a whole sweet potato pie based on a recommendation. My assessment? Why does chicken smell like tuna? Secondly, where's the chicken. I had more pasta and sautéed veggies than anything. And sadly, the chicken that I did find looked like the pressed and processed chicken fajita chicken strips from a bag of Tyson's. The pie was g9od. But looked more like pumpkin pie than sweet potato. But it was thin. And not worth the almost $30 that I paid for it. In total, I paid $83 for 2 plates of the pasta and the pie. The good thing that I can say about the pasta is that one plate is enough to feed 3-4 people. And sadly, the pasta is EXTREMELY oily. Would I try them again? Yes. But not for the pasta. That was highly recommended to me. I just got home and was able to snap pics of the remaining pie, and the oily residue from my boyfriend's plate.

We cut our order short because he lacked basic training/sense when speaking to grown women spending money. That was the first time I've brought my mother after I'd been raving about the food which she has had from one of my previous visits. She cut our order short and we left, having to get food and drinks elsewhere. All because of the little boy at the register. That day we ordered the salmon grilled cheese and that is something I actually won't recommend. (Bcuz of that days experience, I wld remove a half star from my rating) But the salmon Philly I've gotten twice and was even better the second time around. I've customized my own brioche breakfast sandwich and it was really good although the chef thought I was crazy for ordering it lmao she did her thing for me tho. I like that they have pescetarian and vegetarian/vegan options available in that area. Quick yummy and preserved fresh. I know the area cuz I'm from there but it's no excuse to lack basic conversational skills ie greeting customers next in line. U don't stare at me and say u was waiting for us to order after WE GREETED YOU. It can't be a Gen Z stare thing. I blame it on lack of common sense.
