Snow crab and headless shrimp boil
    Erika S.

I finished the whole thing for once. Lol i got the headless shrimp and snow crab leg boil with garlic butter sauce. It came with 1 ear corn and potatoes. This was actually my first time here. I was not disappointed. Will definitely go back and add the mussels into my boil next time.

One thing about the Crafty Crab franchise is how consistent they all are with the quality of their seafood, their drinks always pack a punch & [[HIGHLIGHT]]there will always be people there![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I went on a Thursday night, which was surprisingly super busy! Luckily there wasn't a long wait and I was able to get seated pretty quickly. It did take about 10 mins or so before my server came to get my drink and food orders but given how busy it was - I guess that's understandable. This is one of the few seafood boil spots I've been to that has the option for ramen noodles - which is a big plus. I just found that despite asking to have the ramen on the side (and not in the seafood boil bag), they were still overly seasoned for me and tasted quite salty. All in all, you will definitely get your money's worth with the drinks... and the seafood is good overall!!

    The Drinks!!

Soo I'm not sure if it changed hands, or after opening it was just not upkeep or is it the quality since 2 years ago I wrote my review. I went here for my birthday outing w/ [[HIGHLIGHT]]the Matriarch downstairs smelled of a sewage problem apparently it's been like that for months!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], so we got a table upstairs, [[HIGHLIGHT]]nobody downstairs, hardly anyone upstairs, the bar a few , tables light.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our Nice waitress Kodie/Kodi took our orders we got the shrimp basket w/hushpuppies and the scallop basket!... orders came out quick!... the shrimp was jumbo, fried very well but lacked seasoning on the shrimp itself before battered. The Scallops ! (My favorite seafood) was disappointing, they were chewy, the coating just wasn't staying on to save it's life and not to mention for 15.99 they should've been larger but it was like that little bagged scallops you get from the grocery store!. Even the Hushpuppies were bigger! & had a niiice flavor & soft (I've worked BOH as a lead Cook & inventory in a premium seafood house and the scallops weren't good!.. The Pros; Shrimp were Jumbo but edible , The Fries were LOOOVE and that Cocktail sauce!, the Hushpuppies, Customer Service and My cherry coke from the Bar!. I would return for the bottom half of what I said. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Also the setup looks like it was gonna be a Korean bbq & hot pot place but they changed their minds! Because of the layout & big tv it's also owned and ran by a different culture I forgot what she said but it wasn't Blk owned! , not even a happy birthday song lol .[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So yeah that's it!

They decided to add an excessive amount of Kraft looking cheese over my order of crab fries. Never heard of this so I sent them back to remove the cheese. Once i sent it back, they made me a new batch of fries and decided to sprinkle dry imitation crab meat over my fries. I enjoyed the fries while the crab meat proceeded to fall off (there was no hold, no eating the fry with the crab meat). Would not recommend. Just dry.

I came here to specifically shout out JR. He is the best bartender. Also the boil I got last week was . They made that bag with love. I think this may be the best crafty between district heights, va, and Waldorf.

The dish was beautifully balanced: tender, flaky salmon layered over crispy potatoes with just the right seasoning. Each bite had that comforting brunch richness without feeling heavy, and the flavors were well thought out. It's one of those plates that makes you pause for a moment because you realize someone in the kitchen really understands how to build flavor. Beyond the food, the staff deserves recognition. From the moment we walked in, the team was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Even during the busy brunch rush, the service never felt rushed or transactional. Our server checked in at just the right moments and made sure everything was perfect. The atmosphere here always feels lively but still relaxed, the kind of place where you can catch up with friends over good food and leave feeling taken care of.

We were given broccoli which we do not need... when asked to substitute it for something was told that they could not. Why ask how you want your steak cooked when it was this thin??? The burnt bread for the burger was crazy for the price. Ordered a side of mac & cheese for $11. The portion was super tiny. Additionally the staggering of time my family got their food was crazy, my daughter got her food, 10 min later my husband's food came out and then five minutes later after that, my son's food came out. We were there to eat as a family. It was crazy how it's staggered. Was never checked on for a refill of drink drinks. Do not recommend this location due to the attitude of the servers. They did not care nor did they care to make anything correct or anyone happy. Will stick to milk and honey in Fairfax, Virginia we care about their patrons.

We rolled up during happy hour and the bar was already three deep with concert goers, professionals still in their work clothes, and a few locals holding their usual spots. There were no open tables in sight but that didn't matter. We found our corner of the bar fast, and honestly, that ended up being the best seat in the house. A band played soft in the background. Servers moved through in outfits that said upscale, not sports bar. The whole room had that pre-show buzz, dressed up but not stiff. We blended in well. We started with the spinach and artichoke dip on a local's recommendation. It came with warm chips, sour cream, and a house made salsa that quietly stole the entire appetizer. I wanted a bowl of just the salsa. Our server, who clearly knew the menu inside and out, sold us on the smoked salmon, and we added a side of bacon mac and cheese along with the cornbread. The salmon looked right, cooked medium with real smoke on it, but the smoke won the fight against the fish. Mushy inside, more fishy than smoky should allow. The sauce didn't rescue it either. Sautéed spinach on the side needed salt, plain and simple. Then the cornbread and mac and cheese showed up and reminded us why we came. Rich, comforting, with the kind of flavor that makes you forget the salmon happened. When I'm back, I'm ordering both of those twice and calling it a meal. Drinks were the real win. A Saratoga sparkling water kept things clean between bites, and the Peartini was one of the better cocktails I've had in a while, balanced, not too sweet, actually worth the price. The seat beside us turned over twice during the meal, first someone who went to the concert a few days earlier and wanted to talk about it, then someone else who slid in for a quick drink while waiting on their table. Both ended up in easy conversation with us, no forcing it. That's the part I keep thinking about, not the salmon. Copper Canyon got the room right, the drinks, the starters, the easy conversation with strangers. Some nights the food is the headline. This one, it was the people and the vibes, making it a great after-work or pregame pitstop, and that's always worth gathering for.

Period…read more I've been seeing this place all over social media, so when I found myself in the area, I had to see what the hype was about. First off, parking is easy. It's in a shopping center, so nothing stressful there, and the restaurant itself is easy to spot. Walking in, the first thing I noticed was how clean, polished, and classy everything looked. Even though it was busy, it didn't feel chaotic. The staff immediately greeted me and asked if it was my first time which I appreciated. They didn't just rush me through the line; they actually took time to explain the menu, how the bowls are built, and offered samples. That alone made the experience feel welcoming and intentional. Now let's get into the FOOD. Everything looked fresh. They have about four rice options (which is already a win), and I went with the pineapple coconut rice. For my protein, I chose grilled chicken, but they also offer shrimp, salmon, and even a mushroom option for vegetarians and honestly, the mushrooms looked so good I almost switched. For my added sides, I kept it simple because I really wanted to taste everything. Collard greens and sweet potatoes. But they also had plantains, and okra....real deal soul food options. Then you get into the fresh toppings. Slaws, carrots, pickled veggies. I kept it light. I finished my bowl with collard green pesto (which intrigued me, and I'm glad I tried it) and added an étouffée sauce over my rice... and listen!!!!! That combo? Chef's kiss. I grabbed a tropical punch juice, and just like everything else, it tasted fresh and well-made. Let me say this clearly: the food is a 10/10. If you're someone who will give Chipotle chance after chance, then you absolutely owe it to yourself to try Spice Black. 10/10. Worth your money. Worth the hype. Worth the experience.

The restaurant is nicely decorated with vibrant colors and very clean. The service is friendly and welcoming. The food was okay. Not bad and just good in my opinion. Its not rave worthy but its still good. I would come back and try other options. This is still a good healthier option oppose to the many of terrible choices we have to choose from, this beats most unhealthy fast foods restaurants. For that reason I would return to try other food options. If you like chickpeas then this is your meal, Im not so it threw off the salad to me. I would have preferred chicken. Honestly, everything came together nicely as one salad, nothing was over powering. I'm just not a fan of chickpeas. They do have an option for shrimp but dont eat bottom feeders so that wasn't an option for me. My tastebuds are much different from yours so I would still give it a try. You might like it a little more than me. Its still a fairly good meal.
