So Wings 21 is the wing spot that's most convenient for me. The service is usually good and they are usually accommodating. This is one of the few spots that allow you to order all flats...or all drums if you're into that sort of thing (even though this visit they didn't allow me to order all flats...what a let down). I tried 3 of their most popular flavors this visit (I really like their hot bbq flavor). The wings were a good size, well sauced, but just a little soggy (the wet sauced wings). The moon dust is decent, but they weren't evenly seasoned (some had almost no seasoning, some had wayyyy too much). But overall it was a decent experience. The order comes with a full cheesesteak (about 10 inches), fries and a drink. The fries were hot and cooked well but there was no seasoning lol. Luckily at the restaurant they have lemon pepper and old bay seasoning so I added old bay. The cheesesteak was ok- the steak to bread to cheese ratio was a bit off because there wasn't enough meat, ha! However the cheese was good, the bread was soft and fresh and the steak wasn't bad, not amazing and a great cut of meat but seasoned well enough and not chewy, under or over cooked. Overall, solid. Overall the wings we're good. Absolutely nothing to "write home about" but they were good. I ordered 40 wings with 4 different flavors (mild, honey bbq, Thai sweet chili, and old bay). The fav choice was the old bay. And I ordered the Philly and surprisingly it was actually a better choice than the wings. My only complaint about this place is they limit the blue cheese and ranch you can have. They only allowed four, for forty-wings. You want more? They charge you which is absolutely ridiculous. In some neighborhoods they wouldn't think twice about that. So with that said what could've been a three star they get two. I would go back for the Philly but not for wings. If I play $40 for wings they should accommodate more. They wouldn't do this 15 minutes away in Bowie because if they did they would go out of business. I won't put up with mediocre decisions and take it like some business owners expect the community to do so.
