Rick Ross always raps about lemon pepper wings but Wing Heaven does it way better than Wingstop. If you are serious about buying good food at great prices you need to check this place out. The wings are perfectly crispy but juicy in the middle and the sauce selection is perfecto. As you can tell my favorite is the lemon pepper but I always order it with hot. They also have other fried food staples like gizzards, okra, fries, and fish. The only thing they are missing from the original wing heaven is they don't have every single flavor of Kool-aid on tap. read more

AMG Wing Heaven - Due to coronavirus you have to wait outside... definitely worth it tho because these wings are the best! - Chicken Wings Near Me - District Heights, Maryland

I ordered the bourbon chicken wings and whiting combo with an order of funnel fries (the real reason why I've had this spot bookmarked!). Welp kids run this place so get ready for that mentality and behavior, that's all I will say about that. Off topic if you like fried wingetts and u are ever in Clinton, try the Bottom Lounge bar that's next to BK Miller, I'm addicted to their wings every Wednesday ! And they usually have special dinners on Wednesday also. Whoops I highjacked my own review :-/ Anyway bourbon wings: Whiting: Fries: Funnel cake fries: = fried food overload :-) read more

This is probably the best wing spot in the DMV area. Wings were made to order and quick, and I washed it down with a refreshing kool-aid. read more

Finally tried this place and yes I love the fried mac-n-cheese wedges that I was sent here for (I personally prefer them to the mac-n-cheese balls at The Cheesecake Factory). I also love the okra, even if I've been spoiled by America's Best Wings and a few other select ABW's with the special hard, crunch coated okra. This place keeps their traditionally battered fried okra fresh and crispy. I've had bad experiences where some establishments let their okra get wilted and soggy (yes, I'm talking to you ABW on Alabama Ave, SE!) I tried this Kool-Aid (their fountain drinks) which I would agree would hit the spot in mama's kitchen. Such a surprise to see an establishment selling it. Who am I to question it.... a cup of diabetes to go along with the fried carb heart attack. Really, it's not any sweeter than an ice tea-lemonade mix from a carryout or other establishment. With two visits under my belt (wing meals, okra, mac-n-cheese wedges, kool-aid have been sampled), here's what I came away with: LOVE: nice staff, okra, mac-n-cheese wedges, convenience, parking, nice staff, they will let you sample the sauce before committing to a flavor on your wings. They also sell Honeybun Cakes (a local black owned vendor of dessert cakes--support small business!) DIDN'T LOVE SO MUCH: a meal with wings are just the fries added (not a lot); drink is sold separately, any blue cheese/ranch etc is $.25 extra. Many of the sauces are very similar. Overall, (3.5 stars) I'll def be back when I'm hankering fried mac n cheese or fried okra. Kudos to the young brother that owns this place! I didn't try the fish as I'm allergic to fish. read more

More like Wing Purgatory... My wings were over cooked and they were not that good. I wish the wings were better because I lived the customer service and the family owned vibe. I may give them another shot in the future. I'm hoping that I had a bad cook. But for now I must give this place 2 stars. read more

AMG Wing Heaven - Over cooked lemon pepper - Chicken Wings Near Me - District Heights, Maryland

Nice wing spot! This place was recommended to me, so I said the next time I get a hankering for wings, i wlil check it out. I did and I really liked it. I got the honey BBQ and Hot (buffalo) wings. The wings were good. They did not knock my socks off, but they definitely satisfied my craving and were well done. I really just wanted to review this place because it's "US" owned (and I don't mean United States) and it's rare that you see that in our neighborhoods. Unfortunately, my fitness plan does not allow me to eat wings often, but I am going to make this my primary wing spot, so long as they keep churning out good product. I did not try it yet, but the person who recommended the place said they have good fried fish. read more

Save your money. I ordered food from the Wing Heaven in District Heights and when I went back in to pick up my food I saw with my own two be of the worker who was putting my food in the container literally use her bare hands to put my fries in the container. When I brought the issue to her attention she was rude and acted as though she did nothing wrong. I asked for a full refund because there was no way I eating she anything she fixed. I called the owner and I'm still waiting for him to return my call. I'm truly disgusted by the service and will never go back there. read more

If service is NOT important to you then you will love this place. I don't get rude and unpleasant cashiers. If you're having a bad day, stay home! I placed my order, it came up to $25. I handed her a fifty. She rudely informed me that they don't take $50 bills?! Since when did a $50 bill get rejected to pay for food? Why doesn't your business have change?! This is such an elementary problem and makes for such a bad customer experience. Thank you for putting a bad taste in my mouth...and I didn't even taste the chicken read more

The wings are always on point! The sides can be a hit or miss - mostly a hit but there have been a couple misses. One day a called to place my order and the young lady told me since I wasn't paying with a card over the phone, they would start my order and finish once I arrived. Once I arrived I had to wait for the entire order to be cooked. So there was no point of me calling. Today I call ahead and my order was ready once I arrived, and I was paying with cash. They are always friendly and it's worth it! read more

Open on this good holiday but no idea when they'll close?? What type of business is this? I understand it's a holiday so have holiday hours, duh!!! #businessesnthehood!!! read more

I give this place a 3.5. The food is good and the people are nice. They lose the 1.5 stars because the hours are limited and they turn off the fish fryer 30 min before closing. Super inconvenient. They also nickel and dime you, which I don't appreciate either. I ordered a pound of fish and okra one time and asked for bread (it's not uncommon to have the bead thrown in). I was told the bread was $.60 a piece! That's crazy! I bought a loaf of bread for less than I would have paid for 4 pieces across the street. Overall, if you want good wings or fish, this is a good place to try. read more

If you are looking for a quality wing spot this is it!! The wings were fresh and tasty. You can tell they change the oil regularly!!

Terrible. I just wasted $20 on two meals. I ordered a catfish filet and a catfish nugget meal. I can't even eat it. If you know what catfish really tastes like you will be disappointed if you order it here. Maybe being from the Midwest I can tell when people serve other fish and call it catfish, but this is gross. It tastes like fish flavored eggs, and that actually might taste better. Maybe give the wings a try. I don't eat chicken wings so I have no opinion on their specialty, but the fish is a no go. read more

AMG Wing Heaven - Not so good catfish nuggets, going in the trash. The fries are decent. - Chicken Wings Near Me - District Heights, Maryland

This Wing Heaven is TERRIBLE! This customer service is awful ! They NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE ! I went inside to place a order and I heard the cashier breathe hard and the cook say she should have closed the door (they close at 9 I got there at 8:23) , she then proceeded to walk to the front with a attitude and only say how you doing not what would you like today or anything ! After I told her what I would like to have she said I don't think we have enough chicken for that and then asked the cook and she said they only have enough for 1 ! Food is good but customer service is TRASH ! WILL NEVER RETURN! read more

Food is nasty, I got hot lemon pepper wings and they are followed with Lemon pepper to the point where they are salty can't even enjoy food

Never gonna stop here again. A ten minute order turned out to be 30. I missed my appointment but had to wait because I couldn't get a refund. And the boneless wing that costs as much as the chicken should be called chicken nuggets. Had to exchange them for more chicken. Couldn't feed a grown man with their version of boneless wings. The wait didn't matter because at this point because The appointment had to be rescheduled. Like I said, never again. read more

This location has great wings. However the closing time is incorrect. It says 9:30 when they never stay open past 9. They lock their doors which I find upsetting. read more

I choose to do my laundry in District Heights, MD instead of where I live in South East...because A it's cheaper and B it's less hood. I used to live in District Heights so I feel comfortable there. Anywho, while doing my laundry I got hungry of course and decided to go down to Wing Heaven and see what they had to offer. They recently opened, because when I last did my laundry about 2 months ago I don't remember them being there. Seemed like a family ran place, it's a carry out joint. There was seating to wait for your order. I took forever trying to decide what I wanted. I couldn't decide whether I wanted wings or catfish. I'm not a huge eater, but I decided to get both. I got the lemon pepper wings, the fried catfish, fries, and the Tropical Fruit Punch Kool-Aid. I just could not resist getting that damn Kool-Aid. You never know how others make their Kool-Aid too sweet or not sweet enough. Well let me tell you the Kool-Aid was on point. I sucked it down with a quickness! The fries were good steak fries. The catfish was crispy and seasoned well. I didn't eat the wings while doing laundry and let them get cold, that was my bad. Next time I do laundry I will be hitting that place back up for the catfish and that crack Kool-Aid!!! read more

It's been hard finding good wings and when I saw Wing Heaven open up near me I decided to give them a try. The pleasant young lady at the counter told me that I have found my spot for wings. I told her I will be the judge of that. Well she was right. The wings are big, cooked when ordered and delicious. I've gotten the hot honey bbq each time. And the price is right! The 9 wings with fries and 32 ounce drink is $9. Most wing spots charge a buck a wing. And they have koolade. I recommend the mixture they call suicide. Great place with good prices and food. read more

AMG Wing is the best wings I ever had. This was my fifth time going to this place. I husband try the wings the first time and wanted me to go back in order some more. LOVE LOVE LOVE This place. 1st and foremost, not trying to sound one particular way, but....this business is black owned and operated. The atmosphere is so welcoming and inviting. I love the fact that they make your order after you have placed it and they don't just chicken sitting up there cooking under a heat lamp. I go this place just about every Friday cause its an every Friday type of business!! The music is on point and the staff is so welcoming and down home. I usually get the hot wings and the seasoning is always complementary to the sauce and chicken. Excellent business and Excellent food read more

The fish is on point. Love this joint because it's clean, the folks are nice, and the condiments are cheap. Summertime cheat food for sure. Only thing I wish they had was fresh celery for the wings and some regular old white bread for the fish. Check it out for sure. read more

Awesome food especially when you have the taste for some fried food.
