Best reliable wing spot in the area! Food: 8/10 - I tried quite a few flavors from ABW and none of the disappoint. I went with the 5pc honey garlic flavor this time and love them. The only thing is I don't think they actually season the chicken it's more flavor from the sauce itself. It took about 15 mins for my wings. I did ask them to make them crispy and they gave me exactly what I've asked for. Service & Vibes: 7/10 - Service is just ok but it's the typical for this area... nothing spectacular or bad. The vibes gives your regular food spot in the area of a curry out. Overall: 8/10 - One of my go-to spots for some good wings! read more

The wings here SLAP!!! Tasted so good. Service was great. Never had a bad order. I'd try again. Idk what you're waiting for. Get the honey old bay for sure. Those are my favorite. read more

I came to this place to place an order of a wrap and a 5 wing combo, I asked for 2 ranch dressings for the wings. They said they ONLY give out 1 and you have to pay extra for anything else. I asked, "what's the size of the 1 you'll are giving". He said, "it's small". I asked, "does that logically make sense if 1 doesn't cover all 5". He said, "I don't know". I STRONGLY suggest not coming to this location and either going to the Ledo's next door. These people don't care about customer service because I asked, "so you'll rather waste a nearly $20 transaction over 1 extra sauce of ranch". He said, "yes". Hurt them In their pockets because they don't respect us and our dollars. read more

Delicious these are best wings I've tasted in a long time. The good is always made to order. Nice and hot and freshly cooked. They also have other items in the menu. read more

America's Best Wings - a receipt for a chicken sandwich - Chicken Wings Near Me - Marlow Heights, Maryland

I like the for the most part but they act like they are scared to cook the food to your liking!! I always ask for extra hard and they refuse to cook it that way. I hate juicy( soft) Whats the point of ordering out if you have to take it home and cook it some more!!! If I request Hard chicken then that's what I want!!!! read more

Is this America's Best Wings or nah? There are lots of signs that say ABW and America's Best Bistro... ??? Other customers assured me this was America's Best Wings. While I am familiar with the wings, I know the sides and how they are prepared vary by location. Fried okra was crispy with thick coating (not like Largo's location though), onion rings were thick steak cut and the hush puppies were official -- golden with bits of corn. Area eateries use this same vendor for hush puppies... GREAT! I may visit this location again the next time I want some ABW. I skip pass the Forestville and SE, DC locations because they prepare their okra differently (SOGGY!) read more

The only one that cooks it's wings good in my opinion. Could be a little cleaner which is why they're receiving 4 stars. Customer service Is good .. I think I only had to check someone once. read more

The wings are a nice size and the flavors are amazing. I also got a small salad and it was a nice size when I took it out the container and it had a nice amount of toppings. I would suggest more than one dressing seeing as though the salad expands once you try putting it on a plate. I have had problems with my orders and them not reading the ticket correctly and getting the proper amount of sauces for the amount of wings I get. Your supposed to get 1 sauce for every 5 wings! read more

America's Best Wings - Wing flavors explained and broken down! - Chicken Wings Near Me - Marlow Heights, Maryland

Located in the Marlow Heights shopping center where Quiznos was. This place is great for different flavors of wing sauces. The guys are always nice and willing to accommodate you. I've tried the wing and a steak and cheese. My husband had the chicken sub and had to take it back once because it was too salty. They were really cool about redoing his order with no salt/seasonings. Call ahead, if ordering on a Friday or Saturday night. They are extremely busy after 6pm on both nights. Make sure you check your order prior to leaving. read more

Called in my two orders and the man that took it continuously got my order wrong while writing it down. I corrected him and then had him repeat my order back to me. When he repeated it back he said it correct. For me to get there and my entire order was completely WRONG!! Then he had the nerve to rush me because the store was closing and argued with me about me order because he was dumb and clearly couldn't understand English!! Don't go to this location service and food is horrible!!! read more

This is one of the worst America's Best Wings locations in the DC area. I had visited practically all of the ABW locations in the DC area except this one. I don't mind going to different locations because I usually can count on their consistency. This Marlow Heights location, however, seems to be one of the worst from the service to the food. I know that this is just a wing spot, so expectations are already pretty low, but even considering the low expectations, this location of ABW is not worth eating at. I arrived and the cashier ignored me for a while as he played on his phone. After he finally took my order, their credit card machine malfunctioned so it took forever for my order to be rung up. I ordered the 10 pc wings combo and a piece of lemon cake. Although there was only one order ahead of me, it took 15 minutes for my food to be prepared. It was very confusing. Once I got my food, I noticed that there were no celery sticks that usually come with wings. There were just wings and fries. The fries were soggy. The wings tasted fine, but the food seemed rushed despite the fact that it took them forever to prepare it. The ketchup tasted spoiled. The soda from their machine tasted watered down and it produced more bubbles than soda. Also, the lemon cake that I ordered barely had any icing on it. You could see the cake though the icing and it looked more like a glaze than icing. Do not go here. Go to other ABW locations where the cashiers are attentive, celery is included in your order, the ketchup is not spoiled, the soda machines work fine, and you'll get cake with icing on it. When there are so many other locations of ABW, don't eat at the worst one. read more

Yeah, the first review: it better be good. The menu is substantial, but it has the feel of a typical wing joint place. There are whole wings, fish platters, fried shrimp combos, and various subs. I opted for the 10 wing combo. It comes with fries and a fountain drink. With tax, it was $ 9.54. Everything was fried well. I got the two sauces (comp) on the side - the sweet chili and hot. Both were good. However the chicken was bland without the sauces. If this was my neighborhood, I'd return. They get pretty good foot traffic too. Call your order ahead. read more

I always order from here but lately the females who answer the phone to take the orders have no type of good customer service. Each time I call I'm greeted with nothing but attitude. It sucks that I'm here to leave a not so good review because I've never had an issue with my food but first impressions are everything. I understand everyone has their days but there is a time and place for everything. I hope they eventually find the job of their dreams that will bring them happiness. read more

Food is always hot. Always accurate and they've even updated the inside to allow more space. Wings are cooked just right. Fish is great and the sauces are good too, some places or owners make the sauce selection is bit different even though they say the same but this one taste like most of the other chain restaurants so you won't have a problem if your in the area read more

Placed an order, the wings were extremely salty, went back to get my money back and explained that they are salty and the owner kept arguing back and forth with me. Got my money back but will never order from this establishment again. Extremely poor customer experience. read more

This carryout is close to my job and home, and no one has complained about it. I had a strong craving for fries and mumbo sauce. I did a call in order, and the person on the phone wasn't unpleasant, but they weren't super welcoming. After placing my order, I walked in. Since this was my first time, I didn't know what to expect, and the cashiers just looked at me. No "hi", no "hello", no "may I help you?". Nothing... I walked up to the counter, and I told the gentleman that I had a carryout order for fries and mumbo sauce. It was hot and tasty, but the customer service sucked. Although the young lady wasn't helping me, she was very loud and obnoxious. It struck as interesting that I didn't get a "May I help you?", but her male customers were getting lots of attention. The restaurant is small, but really clean. There is about two- three tables for customers to sit. Although the place was crowded, the restroom was clean. When I get the craving for fries, I am definitely coming here. From what others have said, the wings are great although I can't eat them. To the owners, I feel that they need to train the employees on proper customer services and overall etiquette. read more

Everything I've tried here was good, the wings were nice and crispy the way I like it. However the only problem I have is not enough space and people bunch up over where u pick your food up and that not good with this pandemic. Maybe they need to only let a certain amount in at one time, so people can space out read more

Ordered honey barbecue wings, onion rings and hush puppies for my parents. The wings were so over cooked they couldn't eat them. They were hard and dry. We called to complain and the guy told us he didn't have an order for us. How is that possible but you charged my credit card???? We got a bunch of bs and going back and forth. Last time visiting this place. read more

Okay, been coming to this location for a while. They have hired new folks and the customer service is bad. Waited 30 mintues for food and the place is packed. The cashier omid was rude to the guest and very impatient. So impaitent he was inputting the orders incorrectly. Please do better and go back to hiring the kids in the neighborhood. Taking a break from This location for a minute. Peace read more

I did online ordering and was told that my meal would be ready in 23 minutes. 8:05 pm to 8:28 pm. I went into the restaurant to pick up my order at 8:29 pm, one of the guys vehind the counter told me it will be ready in 2 minutes. I gave them the benifit of a doubt and waited. My food didn't come out of the kitchen until 8:45 pm. I saw that people who walked in and placed their orders received their food much quicker than I. The food tasted good. But I would suggest that they work on their customer service. read more

This place used to be good... sucks now though. Bad customer service. Bad food... just bad... I ordered boneless honey mustard wings...I got served regular chicken wings with honey mustard drizzled over it... plus it was almost 15 dollars... I would've took it back but I had already wasted enough time waiting on the food...so if you're thinking about trying this place I'd pass... not to mention these guys are pretty rude and I'm not sure if they understand English too good. read more

AWESOME FISH!!! We ordered on a whim and I'm glad we did, that was the best fried fish EVER! Horace and Dickies who????

America's Best Wings has mediocre food chain-wide, so I'm not willing to fault this location for that. However, I will fault this particular location for the time that it takes for them to put out orders. Every time that I've been to this location, the food has taken ages to come out of the kitchen. On my last visit, I arrived when the restaurant had just opened. I was the second customer of the day. It took them 25 minutes for my food to come out. That is absolutely unacceptable, especially when I'm on a schedule. They get no more chances after that. Avoid unless you don't mind waiting exceedingly long for your mediocre food. read more

This was always one of my favorite spots if my family decided to order out, however it has really gone downhill. The customer service is lacking tremendously and the wings that I used to rave about are starting to get DISGUSTING! They are way too salty and are starting to all taste the same. I also think they get seasoned on the same place because I ordered garlic parmesan wings and they tasted like lemon pepper. I just don't think I will be ordering from here much more... which sucks because I used to love this place. read more

Wings tasted like they were cooked in old or fishy grease, and the mumbo sauce was too sweet. I would not recommend this place for wings.

I am disappointed! Went here Sunday night after ordering chicken cheesesteak. Waited half hour and no cheese on order! When i complained, i was given 2 pieces of cheese in a container to apply myself. read more

My order was correct, tasted great and the employees there were incredibly friendly! I'd definitely order from here again!

Not pleased with the product. Ordered 50 wings. They were over seasoned and over cooked. I called to complain and was told that they will replace ONLY what has not been eaten. Not worth the ride back to deal with them. The service and quality of this location has declined over the last year or more. They need to make some serious changes in quality control. read more

They are frendly and really want to provide good service. The food is good and hits the spot when you want some carry out grub!

This store has the WORST customer service!! The manager and store workers are RUDE and VERY IGNORANT!!! The chicken is hard as a brick and they don't give a darn about how they speak to customers. They are run by foreigners who don't understand the customs of America. They just want our money and could care less about the sanitation in and around the store. The store is always dirty looking and the tables and chairs are NEVER clean. I recommend driving a few blocks down the street to service the other locations. Stinky store and Stinky service...not a good combination at all. I will be contacting the health department as well. read more

Lol, I am so pissed I am all over the place. Excuse any errors.  So, my first time with ubereats, I order food from a restaurant up the street. Driver was great, wish I tipped him- friendly and a beautiful red ford focus. Anyways, America Best Wings in Marlow Heights MD has thee WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! I order my food, it arrives. I am excited, smells good looks good. Until I discover they sent coleslaw instead of my side dish I order and paid for. I call and let them know, the girl say.....oh, yeah we don't have potato salad.....I said, ummmm okay, its on your menu. She says yeah we don't have it today- so why didn't anyone call and inform me of this and assume I wanted coleslaw as a substitute. She says well its extra for a different side, yeah i know that is why I paid the .40 cent difference for my potato salad instead of fries. Again why didn't anyone call and give me a option to choose different. No answer, just yeah sorry we don't have potato salad, so I asked for the manager, he's rude and arrogant. He says the same stupid crap as her- what aren't you people understanding, for someone who is paying 30 plus bucks for food, I deserve at least common courtesy or a heads up phone call to inform me that I won't have my side of choice. I usually deal with grubhub and their restaurants would call immediately after receiving my order to inform me of something. These people had a whole 45 mins to inform me. This was the worst first experience to have with ubereats restaurant. read more

So my friend and I were hungry after bible study and I am against fast food at this point in life so American Best Wings it was. I am Pescatarian so of course I immediately went for the seafood section. I wasn't feeling fish so I got the grilled shrimp wrap in a spinach tortilla combo which came with fries and I opted for a bottle water. Of course my friend got him a solid 20 piece wings which was split up between Lemon Pepper and Honey BBQ. His wings looked so good but I'm not fooling with no flesh lol. He said his wings were really good so one customer satisfied and one to go. The grilled shrimp wrap was really good, it had light mayo, ketchup, grilled onions, tomatoes, and lettuce on it. The shrimp were lemon pepper flavor which was a really nice kick. Now I wanted to try the 24k sauce so bad, so I asked for that sauce on the side. I made sure chicken wasn't rolled around in the sauce before I asked for it though, lol. The sauce was really good, as I dipped my fries in it one after one lol. Overall good food, another tasty option outside of fast food that can fit into a small time slot. The customer service was great and I will def visit them again. read more
