    Chicken Salad
    Nina P.

I love coming here for my lunch fix. This is a nice and cozy location, with great customer service and the best made to order Chicken salad. Today I tried the chicken nachos They are pretty good and filling. I would suggest the salad. If you get the nachos I would suggest eating them there.

This was my 2nd visit to the new Charbroiled chicken, and it was SO. GOOD. They have a really extensive menu with everything from Charbroiled chicken, to fajitas and tacos, and wings. I called to place my order for chicken tacos and they were just about ready when I arrived a few minutes later. I prefer flour tortillas, which they didn't have , but the corn tortillas they use were actually really good.

    Chicken quesadilla

We walked in and was able to place an order right away. The staff was friendly and patient. The seating area was clean as well. It's small inside, but not super cramped. We ordered a steak quesadilla, a chicken quesadilla, old bay wings, and a steak and cheese with fries. Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly and tasty. I would definitely return.

I work in the hospitality industry and understand the power of reviews. Let me start with I absolutely love Charbroiled and I frequent the Greenbelt location and they don't miss!!! This was my second visit to this location as it is close to the college. I was greeted and promptly served. My issue is with the chicken being diced to where it had no texture, no flavor and it's hard like a brick . I have no problem paying for a salad, but it wasn't event good for the $20 price. Recommendation to the owner, cook, anyone that makes decisions, please stop dicing the chicken! Also, for the salad mix it looked like iceberg lettuce and not romaine. There is a big difference in overall texture for salads. May not return due to the cost and the product don't add up.

    Steak fajitas....steak way too overcooked
    Ria R.

My food didn't taste fresh or authentic....just kind of there. Very low quality proteins. Hard to mess up fajitas but the steak was way over cooked and the flavor profile left a lot to be desired. I've had better fajitas at Chilis Ordered three whole wings because a previous reviewer said they were great. Not mine. These three wings look like they've been through hell. There is a batter of some sort on the chicken ---provides a flavorless crunch but overall it wasn't even edible for me. Truly a waste of money. Food felt like I was in an America's Best not a competitor to Sardi's. Should've went to Sardi's

Perfectly cooked/fried Plantains!!! Usually Sardi's was my go to Ever since my former coworker was brought me some plantains I was in love. I felt like I was cheating on Sardi's lol cuz I ended up one day in town grabbing some food from here. I love that It's not overly packed , nobody is rushing so the chicken is always done and always juicy!. They give you a grand portion of sides , very filling indeed , when you walk in they greet you immediately, give you time and space to check the menu then check back like a waiter/waitress. Everything is seasoned doooown!!! So you definitely don't have to worry about bland or something not being flavored or flavorful enough!!. I'd most definitely return I'm trying not to have a dinner every day of the week honestly, I'm a chef I need to get back into cooking dinner!!!. I love this place I'd most definitely return maybe Thursday that's enough space to give to go buy a dinner.. so if ever you drop in town like I do definitely you won't regret it at all enjooooooooooooy!!!

The dish was beautifully balanced: tender, flaky salmon layered over crispy potatoes with just the right seasoning. Each bite had that comforting brunch richness without feeling heavy, and the flavors were well thought out. It's one of those plates that makes you pause for a moment because you realize someone in the kitchen really understands how to build flavor. Beyond the food, the staff deserves recognition. From the moment we walked in, the team was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Even during the busy brunch rush, the service never felt rushed or transactional. Our server checked in at just the right moments and made sure everything was perfect. The atmosphere here always feels lively but still relaxed, the kind of place where you can catch up with friends over good food and leave feeling taken care of.

We were given broccoli which we do not need... when asked to substitute it for something was told that they could not. Why ask how you want your steak cooked when it was this thin??? The burnt bread for the burger was crazy for the price. Ordered a side of mac & cheese for $11. The portion was super tiny. Additionally the staggering of time my family got their food was crazy, my daughter got her food, 10 min later my husband's food came out and then five minutes later after that, my son's food came out. We were there to eat as a family. It was crazy how it's staggered. Was never checked on for a refill of drink drinks. Do not recommend this location due to the attitude of the servers. They did not care nor did they care to make anything correct or anyone happy. Will stick to milk and honey in Fairfax, Virginia we care about their patrons.

The photo doesn't do the burger justice. It was juicy, flavorful, and filled with great taste. My only suggestion would be to lightly toast the bun, as it was served a bit cool. We rolled up during happy hour and the bar was already three deep with concert goers, professionals still in their work clothes, and a few locals holding their usual spots. There were no open tables in sight but that didn't matter. We found our corner of the bar fast, and honestly, that ended up being the best seat in the house. A band played soft in the background. Servers moved through in outfits that said upscale, not sports bar. The whole room had that pre-show buzz, dressed up but not stiff. We blended in well. We started with the spinach and artichoke dip on a local's recommendation. It came with warm chips, sour cream, and a house made salsa that quietly stole the entire appetizer. I wanted a bowl of just the salsa. Our server, who clearly knew the menu inside and out, sold us on the smoked salmon, and we added a side of bacon mac and cheese along with the cornbread. The salmon looked right, cooked medium with real smoke on it, but the smoke won the fight against the fish. Mushy inside, more fishy than smoky should allow. The sauce didn't rescue it either. Sautéed spinach on the side needed salt, plain and simple. Then the cornbread and mac and cheese showed up and reminded us why we came. Rich, comforting, with the kind of flavor that makes you forget the salmon happened. When I'm back, I'm ordering both of those twice and calling it a meal. Drinks were the real win. A Saratoga sparkling water kept things clean between bites, and the Peartini was one of the better cocktails I've had in a while, balanced, not too sweet, actually worth the price. The seat beside us turned over twice during the meal, first someone who went to the concert a few days earlier and wanted to talk about it, then someone else who slid in for a quick drink while waiting on their table. Both ended up in easy conversation with us, no forcing it. That's the part I keep thinking about, not the salmon. Copper Canyon got the room right, the drinks, the starters, the easy conversation with strangers. Some nights the food is the headline. This one, it was the people and the vibes, making it a great after-work or pregame pitstop, and that's always worth gathering for.

Period…read more I've been seeing this place all over social media, so when I found myself in the area, I had to see what the hype was about. First off, parking is easy. It's in a shopping center, so nothing stressful there, and the restaurant itself is easy to spot. Walking in, the first thing I noticed was how clean, polished, and classy everything looked. Even though it was busy, it didn't feel chaotic. The staff immediately greeted me and asked if it was my first time which I appreciated. They didn't just rush me through the line; they actually took time to explain the menu, how the bowls are built, and offered samples. That alone made the experience feel welcoming and intentional. Now let's get into the FOOD. Everything looked fresh. They have about four rice options (which is already a win), and I went with the pineapple coconut rice. For my protein, I chose grilled chicken, but they also offer shrimp, salmon, and even a mushroom option for vegetarians and honestly, the mushrooms looked so good I almost switched. For my added sides, I kept it simple because I really wanted to taste everything. Collard greens and sweet potatoes. But they also had plantains, and okra....real deal soul food options. Then you get into the fresh toppings. Slaws, carrots, pickled veggies. I kept it light. I finished my bowl with collard green pesto (which intrigued me, and I'm glad I tried it) and added an étouffée sauce over my rice... and listen!!!!! That combo? Chef's kiss. I grabbed a tropical punch juice, and just like everything else, it tasted fresh and well-made. Let me say this clearly: the food is a 10/10. If you're someone who will give Chipotle chance after chance, then you absolutely owe it to yourself to try Spice Black. 10/10. Worth your money. Worth the hype. Worth the experience.

The restaurant is nicely decorated with vibrant colors and very clean. The service is friendly and welcoming. The food was okay. Not bad and just good in my opinion. Its not rave worthy but its still good. I would come back and try other options. This is still a good healthier option oppose to the many of terrible choices we have to choose from, this beats most unhealthy fast foods restaurants. For that reason I would return to try other food options. If you like chickpeas then this is your meal, Im not so it threw off the salad to me. I would have preferred chicken. Honestly, everything came together nicely as one salad, nothing was over powering. I'm just not a fan of chickpeas. They do have an option for shrimp but dont eat bottom feeders so that wasn't an option for me. My tastebuds are much different from yours so I would still give it a try. You might like it a little more than me. Its still a fairly good meal.
